The main issue is aiswarya is not accepting what pakhi actually is. She is still in a denial mode and it is so evident in interviews. Even in last interview with Neil she was blaming sai and tried to make pakhi look bichari. Then it's Neil who finally said pakhi know virat can't be hers but she can't see him with anyone else.. That's her problem.

So first aiswarya need to accept pakhi as grey which soon turn to black. Then she may be able to portray character better.

And I don't think aishwarya would have performed Better if she was given sai role. First she doesn't look like 18 year old which ayesha looks. Second sai's character is not always bubbly. It has many layers including emotional one which I don't think aiswarya can pull off. Emotional scene ko chodo ... Just imagine sai kaku takkar scene with aiswarya as sai .. it would turn to physical fight ..

I'm not saying ayesha is perfect.. Actually in initial days aiswarya was better in acting terms than ayesha. But then ayesha improved tremendously especially in expressions.. She can make minute expression and can make it visible to viewers... where as aiswarya graph went down.

@bold- Absolutely. Jennifer is one of the GOAT TV actresses, she would've been brilliant as both Sai and Pakhi. And had Jennifer been Pakhi, I think there genuinely would've been some VirKhi shippers since she would've convinced us that two days or not, the connection between them was real. A major reason why the viewers aren't able to relate to Pakhi is because the internal storm is not just coming on to the screen. Before the show started, Pakhi's tagline was "Zakham kisi aur ka aur dard sahe koi aur"- literally SO MUCH could have been done with this. Very few actors can rise above shoddy writing and Neil certainly is one of them. But I don't think the writing is letting down Aishwarya. Her material is at par with Sai's in terms of layers and nuances but she is just not able to go beyond the shocked and 'beizzati' wala expression.

@red- 🤣
Even her parents were giving Sai-Virat the betrayed lovers look, we can hardly expect anything from them. Her father and mother seem sensible sporadically. They need to sit her down and knock some sense into her.

The whole premise of mid-twenty somethings having never experienced any sort prior infatuation/love is so unrealistic in every context that it is already hard to relate with both Virat-Pakhi. (The few earlier shows like Sasural Genda Phool, IPKKND etc were at least realistic in that regard, though I haven't watched much itv.) This compounded with the actress' animated acting make it even more ridiculous.
