Sai's character actually is serious and matter of fact. She is childish with the people in her family. She is honest and totally mooh phat, sometimes bordering on rudeness.

So many nuances, I don't know if the other actor can pull it off.

🤔 This is the only expression i can think of when i see Pakhi,

it is always like "please everything you just said went over my head can you please repeat again" expression.

When she is pointing her finger and eyes red then we need to understand she is angry . and it is like she is ready to stab the person in front of her with her finger.

Her expressions give me an impression that the other person is going off topic or digressing the talk. That's it. While in real Pakhi's character is extremely delusional and pathological liar. "Main tumhae khane k liye bulane aayi isiliye gunaah ho gaya". I was like dude u entered aggressively without knocking ..clapped...taunted and while doing all that gave a slight mention of how he was called for dinner..Expressions make the viewers confused. Like mentioned three of the important characteristics of Pakhi are narcissism, class and pride. She fails to show class because she screeches(much more than Sai) most of the time and other times she looks like a fool.

My guess is they actually want to show her as a person who is delusional and thinks of herself as the victim. She is oblivious to what she does or says can be wrong too. In her mind she has some set images regarding everyone and she is scared to let go of that image. She is scared of change. Life around her has moved on but her life has come to a standstill. She still delusionally thinks if she doesn't move forward life will stop and she can start her life from where she stopped. I also think that she tries to be the best bahu of the Chavan Nivas so that when she gets together with Virat later on, nobody objects to it and also because they serve as a tool to break Virat and Sai's bond. Now when she sees that life is changing and she might not go back to where she was. She is trying desperately to stop life from changing, stop Virat from changing, stop their equation from changing. She thinks of herself as a victim. She pretends to be sweet but her heart is filled with bitterness. Anyone who tries to show her mirror and tries to bring her back to reality is an enemy to her. Anyone who wants her to change is an enemy. It's like she believes she is living in reality and others are delusional. Hence the shocked expressions. She doesn't want to believe that her real self has become so ugly in the process. Like a flowing river is beautiful but when water is stuck in a place it becomes dirty. Same thing has happened to Patralekha. If my guesses are correct, her mask will gradually wear off as the hopes of going back into the past and getting together with Virat diminish. It also means she might stop pretending to care for the family as the last hope of them being effective as her tool to go back to Virat breaks one day. It also means it will make her mad once she fully notices that she is the only one and everything around her has changed. She might pretend to flow with life instead of actually moving on, but it will only make her worse. But once she comes to terms with reality and looks at herself in the mirror and realises how she has been stuck and how different she has become from who she was, she will break down. And I want to hope that day will be the start of her new life. Once she starts flowing freely like a river, her soul will become pure. It might never happen but I am hoping.

I wonder if it made sense😂😂

No one can beat ayesha as Sai but I wonder if aish played Sai’s role which is a bit more bubbly. Would she have done justice? ( all biases aside)

No way possible. Sai's character has so many emotions to portray. Aishwarya when she has to portray anger looks funny! She has no control over her body, her hand gestures look so boisterous and often possessed. May be she could play Jagtap well!!

Thank god SBS didnot interview her during this shoot if they did i am sure Aishwarya would have explained the same that she just went to call sai and sai batamaze se bath ki.

In KD she called Virat a liar and a cheater, and accused him of betraying her in front of Sai .. i think it was when she found them eating .. Did she say the same in this version? I wonder was she referring to food or a kiss that we dint get to see? 😳 did virat get to feed her too in the 2 day yoga event ? 😳 what was virat lying, cheating or betraying about 🤔

Mein jab bhi pakhi ko dekti hoon she just gives only one expression aur haaa aajkal toda neck bhi hila rahi hai along with hair 😆, I really don't think she will be able to pull sais role , sais role is a layered character happy go lucky girl , chirpy hai , moohfath hai , with tad bit rudeness aur selfless bhi hai , not sure whether aish will be able pull all these shades well and also father daughter bonding bhi ayseh karpayega I don't know and one more thing she won't look like a teenager toda mature laghrahi hai

Yes, I agree with you. I have always maintained that with a bit more effort in writing and a lot more effort in the acting department by Aishwarya, Pakhi can be a very interesting character. Aishwarya is too one-note and only her dialogues are supposed to make us believe that she has layers but her acting does nothing to help her cause. Aishwarya herself and her fans think Sai and SaiRat fans hate Pakhi beause we're delusional, hypocritical blah blah but Indian audiences have always been known to love a vamp, villian, provided they are played well. If Pakhi was played well, we'd hate her but somewhere sympathise with her at the same time. Since she's 'grey', we should've been confused. Instead, we just are irritated. This character and her portrayal evoke no emotions whatsoever. This character could've been delightfully devilish, manipulative, crafty but underneath all of that, just a jilted lover who has lost her way in life. But all we get is constipated expressions. One example of an excellent portrayal of a grey/negative character is Rashmi Desai as Tapasya in Uttaran. She went from positive to grey to absolute black and then became positive again but each phase of her character was so distinct from the other. Even in her worst phase, somewhere you could understand where she was coming from. Another example is Sudhanshu Pandey as Vanraj in Anupama. I am not a regular viewer of that show but from whatever I've seen, he makes you pull your hair out in frustration and anger when he mistreats his wife but his interactions with his children make you unintentionally smile. He's SO good that while portraying he's different shades, the audience also feels diametrically opposite things. He's so convincing but that's not the case with Pakhi. During the Ladakh trip outburst, I didn't feel her anger at all. I was just annoyed. When she destroyed her room yesterday out of heartbreak/ jealousy, I still just felt annoyed.

I don't know what's going wrong with Pakhi and Aishwarya. Is it the director? Is it the writing? Ayesha wasn't the best actress when the show started and even now she is far from perfect but look at the graph of her progress in these four months. It's been nothing short of phenomenal. She's improved leaps and bounds and continues to do so with each passing episode. I hope that Aishwarya understands her character a little better too.

I will be honest here , if Aish had played Sai’s role then people would be easy on her . They would have accepted her mediocre acting . Sai character is layered and it’s not easy to play her character either . Maybe Aish would have excelled in romantic scenes given the personal equation she shares with Neil . That would have made the fandom happy but I am sure she would have struggled during emotional scenes .
