we all were in a confusion ki pakhi kya chahti hai, we thought she wants to have EMA with him.

here where the story stands how, neil and aish made few things clear that pakhi knows that she cant ever have virat but she also never wants him to someone else's neither sai nor anyone else, as he promised her that.

so basically now virat just told pakhi that he dont love her and never will, but he still didn't realize that he loves sai, the day he realizes it his promise will be broken. from that day we will see the true colors of pakhi. where she does planning and plotting to create MUs between them, later on does pregnancy drama also.

so even neil accepts that virat ignores the actual facts and only supports/stands against what is in front of him. so he don't think ki pehle kya hua tha, ab kya horaha hai, kya yeh insaan yeh karsakta hai ya nay and all of that. so basically, loge kaise hai, insaan kaisa hai jaaye baadmein virat reacts to only things that are in front of him.

one more thing is he said 'virat cant do this, sai ke saath tho bilkul bhi nay' and the way neil explained how hurt virat was on not being able to go on lunch with sai makes it seem like virat is already in love with sai but didnt realize his feelings yet.

@Bold - that's the context of the story and that is what is in the original. But the problem here is Pakhi's character is not executed properly. Its either the acting or the direction. It cant be the writing as most of it is from the original. She comes across as jealous and obsessed but that was not the case in the original

I saw this interview and in this Neil clearly said, we have been told is Pakhi's character is and that is what he has being trying to maintain in the interviews. But the difference between the original and this version is Pakhi's character is not executed very well. The actor lacks the conviction and hence the connect is missing. She is right when she says, she does not want Virat but she does not want anyone in Virat's life.

But makes me think why are they using words that we use here:

Pendulum -- used by almost everyone, once a day. It's like Rx prescription of OD from a doctor 😆

Peeling layers like an onion: Ye toh maine bhi bohat baar use kiya hai, especially for Bhavani😆 Patralekha mein koi layers nahi hain so far so I disagree that PP's character can be interpreted in many ways -- it is actually the only "one-dimensional" character in the show.

I liked Neil's answer to the hand-holding sequence. It almost sounds like the discussions we were having and it's true, in real life, too, many people make mistakes they would never imagine.

I agree with you in this version Patralekha has no layers. Again I don't know who should have blame and it starts with the first scene and my feeling is the same for her. She lacks conviction and hence she isn't able to relate and we aren't either.

Neil has good clarity about his character virat and that's why he was not happy with hand twisting scene. As per his interviews came to know he doesn't read next scene. Read and understand recent scene and perform. I hope he will read synopsis of kd and talk to creative about the same because virat is not equal to rono. He is really suljha hua insaan.
