I agree about the intimacy part .Something is stopping them from showing more than hand holding . There were multiple opportunities for a hug . I don’t know if it’s actors or CV who have a problem . Offscreen dynamics can impact the show , I remember reading about a show Dabh where the actress was not comfortable with intimate scenes maybe because of her husband who was the director of the show so finally they had to replace the director because of some difference and things went bad from then on . Seeing the recent videos , I think Neil Ayesha and Aish share a good rapport. I have seen Ayesha hugging Neil infront of Aish during 100 episode celebration . If they can hug offscreen why not onscreen . It might be the CVs who are careless .

exactly it’s the CVs fault of not utilizing the beautiful chemistry between the two!!

This is a slow burner ... they won’t do it hurriedly ..

this is not a typical girl meets boys ..Hate, MU tashn then one upmanship wala romance ..

where the boy tries to dominate the girl .. will flirt with her .. the. The girl will give him a push and move on

The scope for all this is there in love hate dramas

Over here .. if virat ups the ante and starts pulling her close the logical step will be consummation.. Max in a month .they both like each other .. but both of them are not yet in love with each other .. they both don’t want to acknowledge their attraction..

Yes virat is attracted to sayi .. he feels sayi is his .. but he also feels she is too young for this relationship.. and does not want to push it ..but that does not mean he will accept other men dating her, flirting with her

In such a case how will we get intimate scenes ..won’t it feel awkward to the audience..there is something right in the story and that is why audience is getting hooked on ..

If we see logically, SaiRat’s platonic relationship doesn’t make sense when they are together day and night and are attracted to each other . I understand this is ITV‘s standard track to avoid consummation so people don't lose interest.

They haven't realised their feelings for each other yet. So it's okay if there is no hug scenes.. they are not even having a friendly hug for a moment, they're are not there yet too.. it's understandable.. and I like this slow pace...

But still a very rushed episode.. whole week of drama to step out of house and coming back and a single episode for apologies, convincing, patch up and few moments after the patch up too done 🤦🤦

Hug can be passionate/romantic, friendly, and just plain emotional. It could've been a side hug as sai starts weeping hearing virat ask her to think of him as family and virat take a step to just hold her as she cried. It could've been like 4 seconds. But it'd made a lot of difference to the scene. Depending on the mood, the expressions, the duration, the bg score-the meaning of the hug changes. If they did it right, it'd been intimate but still been platonic enough. Because i agree that sairat arent at the physical stage of love just yet.

If not hug, they could've shown virat and sai simply standing closer to each other and wiping the tears. The holding face with both hands in KD was SO much better than this one-finger wiping of tears they did.

I am glad we got some nice bg scores of more than just instrumental stuff- there was another version of the title track with new lyrics fitting the situation which was good and the "kaise mujhe tum milgayi" which was perfect. I cant wait for Sairat title track on Sairat♥️
