Good You are not alone ..... ML and his family are very abusive and it does fall under domestic abuse .... 498A thok naa hain innpe ... my main issue is an IPS officer doing it not that anyobe doing it is normal .... worse is people see angst filled romance which i do not get at all how can abuse in any form be a romance until it is a disease like Stockholm syndrome they are going after FL falling for her abuser how ever he is after all this is going to be 😖😖 do not know what to call it anyway .

FL gives it back most days but they have turned her into a banshee for no reason todays episode was so not needed she could just have taken her husband to a side and could have told him to keep it confidential but no they got to turn all into a cringe fest with such abusive nonsense

That said there are all sorts crazies out there people even write to serial killers .... so people finding romance and justifying this crap is as normal as it gets ..... these shows are supposedly entertainment i guess they get trp bcos people find others getting tortured entertaining may be i got no idea

I chanced upon this show while waching the original song ghum hain kisi ke pytar mein .... and i rue the day i saw this .... sai giving back i found it different but now this show is different on so many levels of abuse that there is no redeeming anything this was not the different i was looking for 😬

and this forum unlike other forums people are not crazy they do not come at you for stating opinions and bite your head off 😂😂 . This is saner than the show .

A woman ? 😳 promoting abuse via entertainment is an in thing now for ITV ? I know it never went out of fashion but this show tears you a new page 😬 everyday

I didn't want to make a post venting my frustration w this show but I have stopped watching for the past couple of weeks. I keep up w the updates bc I used to love it and saw SO much potential. However, showing the abuse and glorifying it is not okay. There's literally an entire army of people against a single 18 year old girl and she is fighting them. Are we supposed to gain encouragement of fighting negative toxic people? Because no matter how strong a person is, no one can take 24/7 abuse - even the strongest of people. Actually no one SHOULD take abuse. period. There are so many things wrong w the show and I'm surprised the makers have completely butchered some characters, to name a few of those that really really piss me off and make me anxious (I literally felt anxious before watching so I had to stop).

1. Devar-Bhabhi EMA (in no household is this normal and Virat isn't a kid who doesn't understand the intentions of people)

2. Cheating (There are many forms of cheating and EMA is a form of cheating. When Virat had his intentions clear before, why is he suddenly forcing himself on her without communicating and clarifying? His sudden hath pakadna and she wanting to go, usne zabardasti ki Sai ke sath. There are also various forms of zabardasti and this was one of them)

3. Masala peesing w the pain Sai faced

4. Not giving her food

5. Making her work and wanting her to work, then and only she will get food. With the money of her father, she can easily get food and have a sane simple life in hostel and focus on her studies. Virats " you need people and family" is BS bc no one needs this kind of people or family around. Or agar, aisi family hain toh akela rehna accha. Also the way he is making it sound is that she will never find someone for the rest of her life. She can easily find someone and settle down later on also

6. Constant tannas and stopping her into doing her own things

7. Oh the list continues ...

It's sad that that they have to show this kind of stuff to get high trps. Or that people still watch despite the abuse shown (and nothing done about it). which one is worse? Is it the makers fault for wanting to be successful and in order to do so, they know showing this type of stuff WILL make it successful (as known from previous shows) or is it the society that ACCEPTS this type of content to be on mainstream television and watch despite the regressiveness and wrongfulness of it? Honestly, if the society rejects it, they will not show it. And the fact that it's not rejected and still shown, somewhere the society is divided where these things do exists and people relate to it which is why it's being watched.

I know a first hand story of a lady who woke up at 5am every morning to cook breakfast and lunch for family, get her son ready for school, clean, then go to work an hour away, work 11-12 hours, come home and cook dinner, feed her family, help her son do his homework, then at night start working again. All this while her family would taunt her be mean towards her despite doing ALL THIS!

Sai's story is a reality for so many women, it's sad.

These kinds of shows normalise such horrific behaviour. I seriously don't know how these scenes are approved by star plus. It disgusts me to the core.

It's extremely horrific to see all this content on screen and that too with such high TRPs. Really tells a lot about our society as a whole.

All this verbal abuse and harassment, even physical sometimes is considered not a big deal by many and it's reflected in shows like this. I'm so infuriated by the guts of these makers. They have lost all morality and crossed every line.

This show seriously needs to either tone it down or it needs intervention.

I know I'll hit a nerve with the fans but this is what's bothering me as a viewer. Not just this show but many other too. The kind of content that airs on prime time TV just disgusts me.

In ITV there’s a formula that never changes...

The in-laws house is equivalent to a prison..

FL either the wrongly convicted innocent/honest-to-god police officer...

ML/vamp/relatives take turns being the hardened bullying criminal who target the innocent FL

100 episodes of getting making life hell for FL, 100 episodes of making up with physical abuse in the name of romance, and then the cycle starts over...

These kinds of shows normalise such horrific behaviour. I seriously don't know how these scenes are approved by star plus. It disgusts me to the core.

Star plus shows are known for high-voltage drama, there’s only one word to describe that channel- cheap...

Trip is the 3 letter word against which nobody can stand straight. Even the most relatable and lauded show of recent times had to at last succumb to the trip game and undergo leap to add drama...

This show seriously needs to either tone it down or it needs intervention.

I believe you are new to the forum.. if you really want to know how much people are influenced by these shows, all you have to see how even the most notorious characters and scenes are justified in the name of romance in the forums by ardent fans...

Trip Audiences are akin to bystanders when an accident has happened. As long as the accident doesn’t happen to someone they love, they are happy to take a video of the accident and post it online. For them it’s just some high-voltage drama in their rather mundane life.

it’s the youngsters who watch the show online which is a wider range that get very easily influenced by all this. If nothing else changes, the physical abuse that’s portrayed in the name of romance needs to be addressed ASAP. The country is going in a very dangerous path, this needs to be condemned very seriously...

If they don't show the FL 'bechari' and 'mahan', who will watch their show?

To make her 'bechari', everyone else must abuse her including her love interest.

To make her 'mahan', she must be shown as a do-gooder, even in face of abuse and hardships.

All ITV shows follow same template, just with new faces.

And they want to bring ott under censorship because of bold content and some misplaced jokes. No body talks about the shit served on itv on daily basis in the name of sanskar and romance. This is far more toxic than ott.

The crux is, this is indian audience, sari aur gehne pehenkar kuch bhi zeher felao you will get high trps and praises.

U stole my words , this serial to mainly runs of FL glorification .

Only one person has brain other our brainless .

FL is like maseeha of d family.

I still happy this show is not ruling trp charts coz a very good show ruling trp charts

Pata nhi abhi kya kya kare FL ko glorify karne ke liye .

Actually KSBKBT, KGGK , SNS jaise serial trp chart pe rule kiye hain , ye serial unhe se inspiration liya hain.
