My guess on why Virat wants Sai and Pakhi to become friends

Is it because he thinks he can hit two mangoes using one stone? Sai gets disturbed because Pakhi keeps taunting her and I believe he wants her to stop it and help Sai in a way. He wanted all family members to accept and treat Sai with respect the day they came to CN and thinks he can start this from his best friend.

Also the second goal, he knows Pakhi is feeling lonely and knowing how good a person Sai is, she will be able to help Pakhi because he knows Karishma is worthless. He knows Sai is good at heart and understands she can do anything for a person whom she likes and may be thinks Sai can be a good support to Pakhi? Though he is Pakhi’s friend, they both (ladies) spend more time at home. Just guessing.

He just doesn’t understand that Pakhi can never accept Sai as anything to the extent that Sai’s existence can also bother her.

Why Pakhi?

One reason as what I have stated above.

Another reason could be that he knows his family members well and know how narrow minded they are. He believes Pakhi belongs to this generation and Pakhi’s behaviour towards Sai will also get better if she gets to know about Sai well. The Pakhi he met is not the Pakhi at his home now and he is not able to accept it. He thinks it is the life changing decision (getting married to Samrat and not him), her situation of MIA husband is making her behave like this.

Virat holds himself responsible for Pakhi’s state. He thinks she sacrificed her love because he had requested not to break his brother’s heart. If only he knew that she had her own reasons to agree to get married.

Whose fault?

Pakhi getting married to Samrat was his doing but end of their story was because of the victim herself (dhoka diya?).

Was it not Pakhi’s fault that she misunderstood him not recognising her voice and thought he jus time passed with her and was ignoring her? If she loved him truly, why didn’t she give him a benefit of doubt, why didn’t she wait for him, it is not like she can’t ever find him. Why did she agree to get married. But sadly Virat doesn’t think that way, he blames himself for her sacrifice and he was also told by Pakhi that Samrat knows about them.

There is nothing wrong in trying to find goodness in people, there are people like that, there are people who gives chance to others to redeem themselves too and he is one such person. Sai even asked him why he didn’t arrest that college student and he said that his future will get spoilt and he can be given a chance. That is his thought process, shows his kind side. We know how an emotional person he is, hence he wants to genuinely help Pakhi as a friend and to stand by her and support her when she needs a friend.

True support and bonding

Didn’t Mohit offer his support to Sai whenever she needed him, both had good intentions and both of them respect the relationship they share. Virat also wanted to do the same for Pakhi but her thoughts are not good, she doesn’t respect their relationship and Virat seems to be oblivious to it.

It is his misconception though. Pakhi is the actual mauka parast person and Kaku called Sai that. He is still not able to realise the true colours of Pakhi. He thinks she envies Sai as another bahu from the household would. If only he understood that her problem is Sai being his wife and she envies her as a woman and not as a bahu.

He has understood Pakhi behaves well with everyone except for Sai. Sai only retorts to her taunts and doesn’t start fights with Pakhi and he has observed that as well.

He has no clue Pakhi is part of all Kaku’s plots against Sai, she is a witness to those.

What he actually doesn’t know is Pakhi is good to others who hates Sai. She never even stood by Shivani bua and he did convey his disappointment to her.

Pakhi Ashwini equation

She has also not given respect to Virat’s Aai in the same way that she respects Kaku. He can sense the tension between Pakhi and his Aai.

He could be under the impression that Aai always sides with Sai because she loves her and that’s why she has issues with Pakhi. This would have been his understanding.

He also noticed during the initial rasam days that Aai dislikes Pakhi or didn’t approve of Pakhi helping Sai (don’t remember if it was to get ready or to guide Sai).

Does he think she is being prejudiced or he has a doubt if Aai is aware of his past relationship with Pakhi. He got startled when his Aai said he need not have his dinner in Patralekha’s room. The guy is clueless, even slightly offended I would say since his Aai found it inconsiderate. How we wish his Aai can try to make him see things from a different perspective. It is a tricky topic and she wouldn’t want to discuss this with him since she didn’t come to know about Pakhi through him.

Why he thought Pakhi can guide Sai

As he has once mentioned long back, Pakhi is ghar ke taur tarike janthi hai, Samajthi hai and Pakhi is also very subtle, matured as per him and so Sai can learn because she jumps into fights readily and is also very childish as per him and is also not tactful.

In a way it is true that Sai is impulsive and can be childish. We can’t deny the fact that Sai is stubborn and crosses her line and forgets that she is talking to an elder. She threw tantrums and misbehaved on the day of her results when Virat went missing and even Aai grew upset with her and corrected her.

But what Virat doesn’t understand that Sai can act matured when situation demands, she can act magnanimous but Pakhi can do these only to people who are not Sai supporters.

Pakhi does have something good

Thankfully Pakhi respects Devi tai and her condition and also sympathises with her. Even if Devi Tai bad mouths Pakhi she doesn’t hold grudges against her. She has got some good qualities but she has turned into a green witch due to jealousy and that is why she is acting all venomous.

I was shocked as how she taunted Ashwini Mami when she got her fingers burnt while looking at Sai’s and Virat’s photo. She asked her did you not ask to pay attention while working, giving Mami her own words. Is she not an elder, is that not badtameezi? What would Virat do if he had witnessed that?

Well it would have been a different case if it was not that Photo that Aai was looking at, she would have genuinely shown concern to Ashwini Mami.

What Virat failed to see; he is also a result of his Aai’s upbringing

He himself said tumhe toh Aai jaisey hi banna hota hai. God, he knows what she wants (bilkul, woh hain hi itni acchi) and who is the best person so clearly but is hell bent on making barood and fire dost.

Well, Aai is the best person to guide Sai and she is doing it already but she gives her advice as Virat’s mother and is sometimes making Sai weak. I have a mixed feelings about her talks to Sai. Some are good ones like ensuring he has his food and not get into any conversation or argument before filling his tummy. Another where she has asked her to refrain bringing Pakhi’s name in between them. But she started to push Sai to think about her feelings. Love is a bit far from what we see, it should take its course. She is trying to influence her which I am not convinced with.

And about friends for Sai, Mohit is going to be a good friend and we have seen it already today. Their duo is going to rock. Something pleasant other than Aai Sai and Aai Devi because Shivani bua is gayab for now. Mohit is here to stay unlike other characters who vanishes and appears only during a scene. We can check the other versions to know when each lost characters would be on the screen 😂.

Virat is in his own agenda and Sai in hers. His agenda will always backfire because it involves Pakhi. Sai’s agenda is going to create more problems for herself and of course their relationship for a short time but will atleast resolve the issues that she aimed to and will also indirectly strengthen their bond.

Virat need not be trying anything, Sai will do it and make amends with all family members on her own due to her nature but gradually. His intentions are good but he is wasting his time and efforts on a wrong candidate (Pakhi).

Pakhi’s obsession can be addressed only when Virat comes to know of it. Progress in Sai and Virat’s relationship is the only thing that can break down Pakhi’s delusions. Her obsession would not get sorted that easily. It is something she has to come out of on her own. She could have turned into a productive person if not for this obsession. Loneliness can be addressed and she herself would have sorted it out easily since she was a prakriti lover, independent person, a lone traveller.
