CV's could have handled Pakhi’s character in a much better way

Her reason for marrying samrat

Though at that point ...she was selfish and betrayed samrat in a way

She was still grey at the time...

Her character could be shown as insecure and jealous..but in a reasonable way..

Makers were too lazy to develop a character with a dark grey and ruined it into complete psycho..

But playing such a grey shade need expertise from actor too..so may be that may not be possible..

How do you think Pakhi’s redemption is possible.....because she's gone completely dark

Doesn't help that the sound editiors have added nagin/vampish music to her backdrop!!

Her redemption is only possible if she realize her folly at the earliest and wholeheartedly apologise to sai.... She needs to let go off virat by herself and decide to wait for samrat to make things right.... I don't think makers are intending to do that... They'll milk on the triangle as much as they can.

That's the trp technique!

That's why I like a recent show (haven't given name of that show) even it is a ghisa-pita concept - in that show...

story is moving at right pace & good persons winning over vamp (so far, always)

- I enjoy that positivity

- As we know: even if leads are suffering , they are going to come together & clear that mess soon...

As much as I dislike Pakhi, I think she is still better than many vamp of the show. There are vamps who literally try to kill or harm the leads, do planning and plotting how to destroy their loves. Pakhi is just a delusional woman who hates Sai. She is verbally insulting. The only time she went wrong was when she tortured Sai with the mirchi pisna. There is still hope for her redemption but that's possible only if Samrat comes back and she decides to give him a chance.

Pakhi is shown to be craving time in vaadiya with her BIL!! This is disgusting to me. She is not a women of character. I understand she doesn’t love her husband, but loves Birat, but then she shouldn’t have married Samrat to be close to Virat.

Even now, she could take divorce from Samrat and line Mari Virat, but while playing Samrat card as necessary to find ways to be close to Virat is disgusting.

You are right about vamps being worse in other shows.... But in those shows ph, actors, channels everyone promotes them as negative/vamp.... Here we are forced to accept that she isn't negative but someone who is mature and sorted out character ... I don't know what kind of positive character behaves this way that delusional didi is behaving.... She may not be going around murdering people but she's looking for an opportunity to crawl over virat.... Her creepiness is unsettling.

I agree, they are pushing a completely negative character down our throats by coating it with some stupid positive explanations. Since she got married to samrat by accepting the bhankas vaada, her intentions have been wrong since the word go.. which mature educated girl would marry a man just to stay close to his cousin! She's very selfish and betrayed samrat from the very beginning. Now she looks for every opportunity to demean Sai in front of virat and the family and makes every attempt to be close to virat.. which bhabhi or best friend does that.. if she just wants his friendship (as claimed by aishwarya in many of her interviews, which I find to be completely baseless and delusional) then this is no way to behave with a friend's wife and ruin his matrimonial life.

I strongly feel that she's a full fledged vamp. It's just that her methods are different from that of the conventional TV vamps.. she's not a typical EK serial type vamp, she's a bit toned down.. but no less evil.. Her suffering and pain of not getting "the love of her life" could have been showcased in a better manner, so that we could sympathize with her but that is not the case here, she's become this revenge queen.. who just finds peace in another woman's pain..

So I personally think there's no redemption to this.. but only if they show having some empathy for Sai, if she frees herself and Virat from the clutches of the bhankas vaada, stops chasing him and moves on with her life in a constructive manner.. then she can be redeemed.

But since it's not gonna happen till the last episode I guess, so she honestly doesn't have redemption during the lifetime of this show!

Pakhi's character could have beautifully fleshed out - the pain of losing someone she thought she was in love with, her struggling to come to terms with her marriage, her anger at Samrat for just up and leaving, her relationships with the rest of the family, especially with Virat and Sai, and so much more.

The Pakhi that is being shown now is almost stalker-ish/obsessed with Virat and wants him only for herself - and again, if they really want to go down this route, the writers should commit to it and work out her character because it could bring a whole new dimension to Pakhi's character.

But, unfortunately it seems like they are stuck in this "best-friend" mode which doesn't click because the boundaries of that relationship and of a "sister-in-law/brother-in-law" are just being butchered to no end.

I also think that this applies to other characters on the show as well - there is almost a one-dimensional nature to them or are shown to be so extreme that there might be no coming back.
