Oh my god!! This post is just everything!!👏

On the SaiRat part, I agree with everything you said. Sai is definitely growing on Virat. Her not being around him made him restless. And it's significance seems to be amplified, especially after his "Sabse pyaari cheez" dialogue. Sai is quite stubborn, and she won't accept his apologies without giving him a piece of her mind. But even after she actually accepts, it might be very difficult for Virat to completely gain her trust again.

Yes, she is fiercely loyal. Despite the fact that she may fight with you, argue with you, drive you crazy with her impulsiveness, you know for sure that when you're with her, you're in the right place. She's not the kind of person who'll whisper sweet nothings in your ear. She's someone who'll tell you the truth to your face, no matter how harsh it. She'll put it front of you and she'll make you face it. And that's the kind of person Virat needs in his life. The kind of person who'll seize you up and make you come to terms with what you're feeling. And I bet on the fact that it's this very trait of Sai's, the straightforwardness that he calls immaturity, that will win Virat over and over again.

If there's one thing we know about Sai, is that she's never a quitter. She won't rest until she finds a solution for a problem. She's not the one who gives up in despair, unlike Virat. And Pakhi was definitely not being helpful to him in that situation either.

As for Pakhi, I really don't know what to make out of her character. There are some moments where I can understand where she's coming from, but most of the times, especially after the suhagraat episodes, she's getting on my nerves. I do agree with the fact that Pakhi definitely needs to see a therapist. Her best friend should take her soon.

She tries to project her shortcomings on others, like how you stated, she wants EMA with Virat, so she suggests that Sai is also onto something similar. And she has MAJOR trust issues!

Also, Pakhi is a quitter. She's the kind of person that takes all the sh*t that life throws her way, and blames it on her kismat. Whereas, Sai is a fighter. Sai doesn't give up easily... hell, she doesn't give up at all. She fights for what she thinks is right, and emerges victorious, all the time. And somewhere, Pakhi knows that Virat admires Sai for this. No matter how much he lectures Sai on maturity and asks her to learn from Pakhi, she knows that Sai is 10 times the person she can ever dream of being.

I still hope that the makers don't do Pakhi any more dirty... and give her a good redemption arc too (hopefully with Samrat).

Initially I did not appreciate the abrupt cut from clearly a breakfast scene to night-time and it felt a bit weird. Virat's missing Sai will soon manifest into not just missing the badbad but the human with a beating heart that does the badbad.

I know right, she is so much more than just a roomate and somebody who entertains hin with her talks🤣 i loved how casually he found her hair clip under the covers, such a nice touch.

I understand the plot device as he's still supposed to be cross, but I was a bit sad that he did not introspect on his words from the AM at all. It would have been a wonderful reverse sequence of when Sai felt uneasy for saying too much. Hopefully that comes tomorrow once his fiesty wife has saved his behind.

Jab tak his career isn't sorted, he won't be able to think straight😆

His two things to remember: You've put it so well. I thought that dialogue was completely unnecessary about the one who is the root cause is trying to feed me (sigh, not to be confused with dear wife Sai). Living room drama, while it was slightly OTT, I liked that the more they prodded her, the more determined she was not to show her plan to the family. Such a star she is.⭐️

Secretly I want to think, she didn't want to get one-upped by PP by the latter taking credit for it saying..>OFCOURSE mere many many machureeee baaton se Sai has taken this decision. Wouldn't put it past her to do it for reasons you've explored in the post. Loved that Sai called out the bluff of Bhavani....that was a treat to watch.

I want Virat to think about the consequences of his statements and the effect it would have on the psyche of a person. She's been battered by everyone at home, and the one avenue of connection that she has to this house is also holding her responsible. I don't necessarily want it to be be-izzati ka badla, but more a project in exploring how hurtful it is when you say things off the cuff.

Yes, especially since she just went through the whole trauma. I want Virat to apologise, but they also need a heart to heart, without interruptions.

Pakhi

This was a weird one, I actually thought in the AM scene she was saying the right things and prodding him along the right way, recognising that there is the need for calm, rational thinking. Ofcourse, since no-one else but Sai managed it, I don't know if she'd actually be pleased with the outcome.

Agree with all other character traits. She is deeply insecure and perhaps does deserve a few therapist sessions to help unravel the cobwebs in her mind. The only thing I don't think will happen is the treatment of PP when the support flips. I think people will disrespect her and not be gentle. (only for fireworks)

Two other things that I liked (one quickly regressed, the other thing sort of made me happy).

  1. Ninad for whatever brief 20 seconds seemed to see the difference in behaviour between PP and Karishma, and made the case for her. His little word of support made his brother happy. Like i said, this quickly regressed into unrequired motor mouthness. Yes, I saw that, he was looking at his brother's reaction.
  2. Can I also say I laughed so hard when Sai said why do you keep providing vishesh tippany in situations that have nothing to do with you (as that was exactly the turn of phrase that was running in my head).

Finally --> All despair and everything set aside (and I know it is drama)...why is Virat not able to think of a simple solution after 24 hours. His whole job is predicated on being in stressful situations and acting fast. If he can't get himself out of a fix, how is he even going to think tactfully in an actual work situation!! I really wish Indian TVs didn't chip away at the true essence of people's jobs.

Sorry for the really long reply :)

He looks like he can perform under pressure unless its personal. As Janki pointed out, this is the second time his brain stopped functionning, the first was when KJ was shot. His job and KJ were both something personal to him.

Great perspective👍🏼

If the makers are looking at our discussions, they'd be like: we just wanted to entertain people, yeh log to legality of vaadas, psychoanalysis of characters tak pahunch gaye🤣

I just want to add on to the loyalty part. As you said, Sai is fiercely loyal. She will go to any extent now to go and get Virat's name cleared. This loyalty comes from the fact that Virat has stood by Sai on a number of occasions ever since they've come to this pagalkhana. She recognises all that Virat has done for her. But this si what I love about Sai- her loyalty will not take over her self-respect. She will do what she has to but she will not let go of all the mean things Virat said that easily. And I am happy that she doesn't blur the lines.

She has her lines very straight in her mind and she's is not going to compromise with them👏

Now coming to the dread M word (maturity). 😆 I feel ashamed that for just a bit I got swayed by Virat's constant immature immature jap for Sai during the Saturday episode because she did behave immaturely.

I think we can't expect Sai to be mature in all situations. You were right to call her out on Saturday. But, today she did no wrong. She understood the stress that he was going through and shifted, and basically tried to handle things to the best of her abilities.

But today she was nothing but mature, even in all her anger against Virat. Maharaja Virat of Maturegarh ne aaj apni kingdom ki naak kat di. Blaming Sai for his situation, saying that Sai indicated Virat liked her and that's why he married her, vada nahin nibhaunga- all these reeked of immaturity. And you're right, Sai is the more sensible one. He was thinking about how nobody from Gadchiroli will speak up for him but it didn't strike him that Sai was right there. These things can't even be dismissed as "immature talks". Virat keeps calling her a choti bacchi. Then he should've also remembered that this choti bacchi just lost her father, who died saving him. She would've barely healed and blaming her was just below the belt and brutal.

Her composure is really something else. She is gonna make a good doctor.

At the moment on my maturity meter, Virat is last. 🤣

Please don't say that...he might want to learn maturity from the Queen of Maturity herself.🤣🤣

Is this their official coronation as Maharaja and Maharani in the parallel kingdom? That way their aatmas will not bhatkofy for their unfulfilled 'love-lust-dosti' story 😂

I do believe that she can heal, but it all depends on the makers
