Why doesn't Virat respect his mom?

I mean he respects her in traditional way. But as in his mom keeps getting insulted in this house by others. Her husband keeps shouting at her and shutting her up. And Virat doesn't say anything. He is till like i really respect Bhavani Kaku😡. The woman who keeps insulting his mother and that too in front of him. Today Bhavani said in front of Virat that Ashwini reached no where in life 😡 and Virat was all silent. Ashwini keeps insinuating how unhaapy she is in this house with the way people have treated her. But he still stays silent does nothing.
