Yes! I loved every bit of your post. When Sai involuntarily fell on him, his first instinct was to hold her... or rather hug her, before his senses took over him and he removed his hand. But as soon as Sai looked up to face him, his hand involuntarily went to tuck that strand of hair behind her ear. You can see the contradiction and the symbolism right there.

First, though he hugged Sai as a reflex, the dimaag-part of him that wants to keep up his vaada immediately took over and he removed his hands from her back. But, the dil-part of him that's slowly changing, involuntarily made him touch her, in a way, get closer to her.

It was a very very beautiful scene! I was quite wary when I heard that there is going to be a cockroach wala scene, but I was quite surprised (pleasantly) when I saw the scene. It shows how SaiRat's relationship is blossoming.

Yes they did execute the scene better than both other versions. The cockroach drama was too OTT and wouldn't go with either of the two characters here.
