There Kaku's daughter was different and actually she loved her daughter (except she didn't accept inter cast marriage). And Bhavani and Bengali Kaku were wayy different. So it wasn't impossible for their redemption. But since there won't be revealation of Kidnapping track, they'll go with redemption only .

I guess this was also supposed to be a status justifying track only, but probably that absense of Viru and kidanapping drama involved made this so.
