Do the betiyaan have to be over smart?

What is wrong with them😕? I am very angry at their behaviour. Can't they just go where ever they are going without insulting Kajri and showing off that they won the money?

They have portrayed the daughters with two completely different ends of a spectrum. On the one hand they work hard for the family, and on the other they show off.

In my eyes a hard working, honest clean minded person such as Lakshmi would just ignore Kajri is she is walking by. Don't you agree?

agreed. challenging kajri out like this was not ver sensible as it is like putting ur hand in the hole of a snake. ur bound to get bitten. They shud have known that a woman who can go to such lengths to get Menaka kidnapped and put in kotha is really very dangerous. Besides , the goal shud be to focus on getting money for dad's treatment , not accepting and throwing around challenges for ego. Hoever i guess they cudnt resist....and the scriptwriters do it to spice up the serial.

Yea that is the whole point. If this show wasn't a show then I am sure Lakshmi wouldn't even look at Kajri let alone show off in front of her. The writers have to spice it up, maybe a bit too much at times.😆
