June 21st Written Update -
Garodia House -
Halki is in her room taking some stuff from the closet when some papers fall down and she reads one of them which is written by Phulki to her mother-in-law giving the news of Halki's pregnancy and calling her to come and stay at the Garodia house. So she realizes that Phulki was the one who brought her MIL here. And then she thinks to herself that watch and wait what she's going to do now.
Main Room -
All wedding preparations are going on. Guests are coming in and out, Laxmi and Saras are having their mehndi done. Savitri and Surya share their happiness with each other. The girls are teasing Laxmi and all are having fun and very happy. Menka and Rasik are talking. Surya goes over to the girls and hands them shagun for the mehendi. He gives a huge green stone necklace set to Saras and another big necklace set to Laxmi. Menka, Halki, Phulki, Kajri's eyes all pop out and are shocked seeing such expensive shagun being given. Saras and Laxmi tell that he shudn't have given such expensive gifts, his blessings were enough. Surya's eyes gets teared up. From behind Hal and Phul are looking at it and getting jealous. Menka thinks that for everytime he keeps giving jewelry like that, their tijori will get empty soon. Kaj too thinks the same thing and thinks that something has to be done.
Satya and Kshitij walk in all dressed up in sherwani. The girls tease Saras and Laxmi again. Menka keeps looking at the necklaces, and Kaj watches Menka and tells, "I don't know why Bapuji is wasting so much money on the marriage. And on top of it, so expensive necklaces. I think u shud talk to Bapuji abt this, if u be quiet all the money will just go and we'll be standing here just watching." Menka says that nothing can be done. So Kaj says that she has an idea.
Hal comes to sit for mehendi, and Hasmukh teases her again. Hal tells that Phul manipulated and got her MIL here. And Hal and Phul nag at each other. When they were not stopping, Baa comes and calms them. So Baa tells that everyone will have mehendi done in their hands, and leaves. Kaj then walks over to Menka, motions her something, and both leave together.
Savitri and the girls share a cute mother-daughter moment. Savitri is over excited and says she's going to sing and dance today. So Gauri grabs Durga to dance and they all dance, while the title song of GKLB goes on in the background. Kaj and Menka come with similar boxes, then Kaj comes ahead and tells the brides to dance too. And in that way, she keeps everyone away from the necklaces. While everyone is dancing, Menka walks ahead and exchanges the boxes with boxes holding fake necklaces and sneaks away with a smirk on her face. Seeing this, Kaj is very happy as well.
Terrace -
Laxmi and Saras exchange their happiness with each other. Laxmi says, "Maa was right, the happiness has stepped into our lives now". And just then, they show the mystery man stepping foot into the Garodia courtyard ready to get into the house. (They zoom in on his bracelet, like they did in the last episode) Episode Ends.
