We have compiled the list in cooperation with the whole Sahara Development Team

Trust me we had the relevant discussions about this😳

and we nominated characters for the categories on the basis of their performance and popularity in the sections.

We have like 10 characters in every serial and a lot of popular negative characters...we couldn't just nominate GES characters only, could we?

So we tried to make a fair compilation by adding characters from all shows..so we picked Uttara from GES in stead of Devika. Ofcourse we can argue about it if Devika should have been picked. But when we were compiling the list Devika's character was not liked at all and Utti was setting the screen on fire.

Devika is doing a great job indeed and we all support her, but as i explained we could not include ALL characters for each category

There will be a second round of awards, we will make sure Devika is better represented then 😳
