Episode begins with Uttara ordering everyone about the preparations for the engagement and everyone is smiling and enjoying the day. Its the engagement day today. There are some cute scenes between Uttara, samaan and Dadi and another between Sujit, Ahaan and Sharad.
Kakul gets a saree for Devika to wear and notices that she is wearing the lehenga designed by Vanshika, so she gets upset. She also notices that Devika is taking off Trisha's bangles. So she asks Devika, who says that Vanshika has designed the lehenga, and samaan also wanted her to wear the lehenga, so she will wear it. And, the bangles dont match with the lehenga, so she will take them off.
Kakul gets upset but keeps quiet.
Sharad and Ahaan talk about Vanshika and how Sharad dislikes her. He says that he thinks she still likes Samaan and trying to be around him through excuses. Ahaan tells him that he should not worry so much. There doesnt seem to be any issues between Samaan and Kakul, so he should relax. Samaan hears them talking about this and is upset.
The engagement ceremony starts. Everyone talks and laughs and jokes. As the ceremony starts, Om Shankar asks Kakul to get the 'shagun' from home, as he has forgotten to get it. Kakul is returning home, as she meets Pandeyji from Patna, who has just come for Bau saheb's work to Mumbai. He has the janampatri with him.
As they talk, kakul tells him that Devika is getting married to Sujit and he asks is the marriage with the girl whos janampatri this is. She nods. Then he tells her that this marriage shouldnt happen, as the kundli says that ill will happen to Sujit if the marriage happens.
Kakul gets upset and comes to Amarnath's house. Devika is about to put the ring on Sujit's finger - kakul stops them and says ' Yeh shaadi nahi ho sakti'
