Having said that she gets up and confidently walks out of the board room followed by the assistant.
The assistant looks at madam with fanatic worshipping eyes…. such aura! such control over the room! such charisma!!
He is ready to become a braindead fan of his madam! she is excellent in anything and everything!
While the assistant had his fan filter on.
Geet reaches Maan's office and collapses on the chair.
Her legs barely supported her weight, and her hands were shaky.
Thankfully she fooled everyone into thinking she is that confident and made it out of the meeting!!
Geet relaxes in Maan's office for a while.
When she thinks of leaving; unexpectedly Maan's parents arrive to confront her.
Obviously, the ripples of her executive decision were growing bigger and bigger by the minute as more and more people found out.
In the business circle people were shocked surprised.
While some condemned the hasty unplanned decision; the geniuses and experts commended her bold decision.
They felt it was apt, timely and really the best thing she could do when there is uncertainty of when Maan will return and take over the project himself.

On the family front, people were upset and angry.
All the scheming they had done came to naught.

Fortunately, the assistant plants his body in between acting as a human shield.

Lady A also rushes at same time to help retrain the crazy Mil.

The Mil was shocked at the address.

Faint blush covered Geet's cheek with the thought.

Fil - Ms Geet, I thought we were very clear in what was the right thing to do, and you had also agreed. Now you went behind all our backs and did such foolish things. Clearly you are not qualified to make these decisions and frankly you’re not even qualified to be out family's daughter in law. With your class, education, current profession; you don’t even deserve to be in that same room as us.
Mil snorts and adds in a snobbish voice.
Mil - We don’t know who gave you money to do this. But you have truly overstepped your position. Its better you take back the decision and then leave! Disappear forever from all our lives before my son comes back and deals with you!
Geet is shocked to hear the hostility in the parent’s voice and their elitist attitude.
Especially when they had treated her so warmly just 2 days back.
Truly.... she is the underachieving actress in this family... look at these people’s talent in pretending.
Geet jokes in her mind and ignores the hurt she felt by this change in attitude.
G - Uncle, Aunty. I did study business in college, and I also have some experience running a business. Although it was many times smaller than this, but I worked diligently then and for this decision also I considered all scenarios and possible future outcomes. You don’t agree that’s your opinion. but I didn’t stupidly decide on anything.
Mil and Fil look at her as if she had 2 heads.
She calls that small catering side hustle a business.

The parents couldn’t say or do much else.
In the presence of assistant and lady A they can’t strong arm her physically and their son... sadly... they were not sure if their son might get influenced by this woman's pillow talk and forgive her completely
Wringing their hands, they also leave.
Geet, who had appeared confident in front of parents, but after the boardroom meeting and now the parents; her lofty confidence had totally crumbled.

Lady A - You unlocked the boss girl look today! Just taking some appreciative photos and sharing with true fans.
Lady A quickly posts the photos in the group with Assistant and Geet... and in group with Geet and Geet’s friend.
Geetalso felt she looked good and got distracted and asks Lady A to take few more pics.
After all, the decor was awesome and authentic, and she looked like a big boss.
Geet throws her worries to back of her mind.
What is the use of worrying?
Geet thinks some more.
Since she already had pics, she selects a few nice one and messaged to Maan with a cryptic message.
"Dressed up as a Boss today and played executive in your company today!"

Geet returns and hides herself for the next few days (from family and media) waiting for Maan to come back.
Although the Maan's message box was being bombarded with texts, he couldn't see any of it.
What he did see however was news.
The news reporter spoke about the Maan’s conglomerate's shocking move of dropping out of the big project.
They show interview with few of the company higher ups.
While the family members had sullen look and only said that they disagreed with the decision and were waiting for upper management to make some changes in decision making policies.
Indirectly saying that Maan should handle his wife and stop her.
On the other hand, few executives who got a timely wakeup call from Madam felt grateful.
Indeed, they were living too easily and made huge errors in Sir's absence.
With Madam's reminder they started rectifying their actions.
In their interview they clearly told that it was Mrs. Khurana’s decision, and they whole heartedly agree now!
They sang few praises for the Madam during the interview.
Seeing such a clear divide of opinion the reporters smelled gossip like shark smells blood.
They went after whoever they can interviewing asking around about this illusive madam and new piece of information, they can gather about her was a news at this point.
In their findings Mrs. Khurana not a simple woman anymore!
She was deemed to be exceedingly beautiful and she can rival any actress in looks and come out on top.
She was charismatic and charming and had strong leadership qualities.
She had instinctive business sense and ruthless decision-making ability.
All in all, she was a winner in life and woman far above other in every aspect.
Not only all this; the Assistant also told in the interview that the madam had very kind and high EQ side to her as well. She always takes special care for Sir. Always doing small things to make Sir happy, creating a warm family and home for Sir!
After this people who still think Geet is mistress…they will Geet even more... after all; the wife is so great!
Maan saw all these talks/speculations and interviews.
The people around him saw it too and thought that he is going to burst with anger at any moment... after all his wife had incurred a big loss to the company.
