Part 26

Maan needed her to be with him....somehow in those people too he felt alone...wished ki Geet aagai toh I have a companion

Maan wanted to say to Geet ki you look beautiful , wo bhi kehna reh gaya

Geet realized ki this is not just alcohol...there is drugs involved and what all craziness they are doing is also beyond her or maybe even Maan

But Maan is part of it now…Daldal mein phas raha hai Maan

Few days pass after the incidence

In the meanwhile, Geet’s mom dad were after her

Because of their insistence she agrees to go on an arranged marriage date

Turns to be wo Maan ka hotel hai

Geet is a doctor so her parents want her to get married to doctor…middle class banda

She also wants to date a person she can have a future with

And flush Maan out off her mind

Date chal rahi thi, Maan ne dekh liya

Maan is fuming inside Ki 2 din pehle toh yeh...abhi issl allu ke saath date pe bhi aa gayi

He even notices ki Full saj dhajke aayi hai, Makeup lagake, Anarkali,suit, dupatta, jhumke

She never makes any effort when we meet

Maan wahin khada tha

He is observing their animated conversation

She has let her hair loose

She is sliding the strand off her hair behind her ear

She is smiling more, indulging more

She seems to be in a good mood, not frowning or annoyed as she is usually when she is with him

She is being pleasant with this guy

Dono ki baat-cheet chal rahi hai

It was a pleasant conversation

Both get up to leave

Aise hi nikalte huye she collides with someone

Her body automatically freezes

That familiar smell!

That familiar profile!

She knows who it is but still slowly looks up

Maan is looking directly at Geet

She looks like deer caught in headlight

Maan gives a pointed smirk

The other guy asks- Geet are you ok?

She nods and walks out with him while feeling Maan's is gaze still on her

Maan smirks

Treating him like a stranger, huh!

Clearly this is mild form of public humiliation. Which they had both promised they will refrain from doing to each other

Geet knows but uske dimaag mein kuch aaya nahi. As she programmed her mind to say no to everything related to Maan

His drinking incident isn't one of its kind

Geet realizes he is mixing with wrong people and developing a drinking and drug problem

Also, what Geet does not realize that Maan has abandonment issues...what Geet did was also basically abandonment

Maan doesn't expect Geet to stay for whole life with him

But timing is the key.

It’s happening to him in its lowest point. When he needs someone then people are abandoning him and that too for no reason

Geet feels guilty in her heart thinking how she behaved with Maan in the hotel

She is berating herself for not acknowledging Maan

She realizes what is did was wrong and she humiliated him

She feels she should say sorry to Maan

She is unable to erase the memory of that defeated look in his eyes when she didn’t acknowledge him

He hasn’t even messaged her or called her after that

She is feeling an explainable void in her life

She expected Maan to at least say something or message her or call her after words. But this radio silence is killing her

She goes to Maan’s house to apologize... & maybe say ki she likes him coz negating things isn't helping her

She realizes yahan toh party chal rahai hai

She starts looking for Maan

After a good search and asking around all half-drunk half high people, she finally gets to Maan

She does find Maan, but she finds him snogging a girl in a dimly lit room

Geet finally caves in & attends the party

But to her dismay they are all rich spoiled brats

She leaves a sad maan behind

Wish geet would talk to maan about his friends s as no habits instead of ignoring that part of she truly cares for him atleast as a friend
