Pyaar ki keemat….

Geet has come to get the blessings of babaji…

Her mobile keeps ringing…

She is indulged deep in her prayers…

A mother always has a lot to pray for…

Geet finishes her prayers and the woman behind her says something to her…

“Aapka phone”

Geet: aap ko phone karna hai?

“Nahi ji, app ka phone bhaj raha tha”

Geet takes a look at her mobile…

She has got 5 calls from Maan…

Geet pareshaan hokke turant Maan ko call karthi hai… .

Geet knows that Maan would be hyper by now…

Maan: where are you?

Maan is obviously very angry with Geet…

How could she be so careless?

Maan got worried about Geet as she didn’t take his calls…

He kept on calling her and began to panic…

Usually he doesn’t panic easily, but nowadays Maan is constantly worried about Geet…

It’s been a very tough year for Maneet and even Maan is finding it hard to get to terms with the reality….

Geet is the most affected and is still trying to cope up with the situation…

Maan then calls home and asks Nakul about Geet…

Maan was relieved to hear that Geet has gone to the Gurudwara…

Maan is only happy to know that she has stepped out of KM…

She was confined to the house all these days, Maan had his work as a form of healing meditation…

But Geet had no such diversion…

Geet: woh mein yahi hoon

Maan: tum teek toh haina Geet?

Geet: haan, mein teek hoon

Maan: tum wahi rukho, mein aaraha hoon

Geet is surprised to hear that Maan is coming to the Gurudwara….

Maan has never prayed for himself, but now he could do nothing to help Geet but to pray for her…

Geet waits for Maan sitting inside the car….

This is the 25th marriage anniversary for them…

Every year Geet asks Maan to accompany her to the Gurudwara but Maan never had the time…

Moreover he believes in doing things himself rather than praying to get things done…

He believes in the philosophy that work is religion and one’s conscience is his God…

If you are true to yourself then you are true to God…

Maan has tried his best to be true to his conscience and follow the right path to the best of his knowledge…

Today Maan is here for Geet…

He wants to see her smiling again…

He is trying to make her a little happy…

Maan comes and Geet is happy to see him…

Geet: aakhir babaji ne meri baat sunliya hai, issiliye aaj itne saal baat chamatkar ho gaya hai

Maan: tum akele kyun aayi Geet? Har saal mujhe poochthi lekhin iss bar tumne mujhse poochha bhi nahi?

Geet: poochke kya faida? Aap waise bhi nahi aathe, ab dekha kaise aap bina pooche hi aagaye ho

Maan: teek hai, toh chalein? Driver, tum gadhi lekhe jao, Geet ma’am ko mein lekhe aatha hoon

Driver leaves…

Geet: hare, andhar toh aao

Maan doesn’t say no to Geet…

He just follows her and prays to God that he gives her more strength to endure whatever is happening in their lives…

Geet knows that Maan is here just for her…

After offering the prayers they come back to the car….

Maan: Geet, bathao, where do you want to go?

Geet: aap bathao, kya app nahi jaanthe ki mein kahan jaana chathi hoon?

Maan: aaj bhi nahi Geet, aaj mein tummare saath rehna chahtha hoon, bas aur kuch nahi

Geet: toh kahin bhi jaa sakthe hai, jahan app lekhe jaathe

Maan starts to drive…

He takes the highway for a long drive…

Geet gets a call…

Maan: who’s it?

Geet: Dhruv

Maan: Dhruv? He always calls you only

Geet tries to say something but stops…

Maan knows what she was about to say…

Maan phone ko speaker mein dalo Geet….

Geet puts it on speaker…

Geet: halo Dhruv, how are you?

Dhruv: happy anniversary maa

Geet: thanks beta

Dhruv: Mr.Maan Singh Khurana kahan hai?

Geet: shhh papa ko naam lekhe bhulathe hai kya?

Dhruv: woh appke saath hai kya?

Geet: unko bhi wish karo beta

Maan: mujhe tummare recommendations nahi chahiye Geet

Dhruv: happy anniversary papa

Maan: thanks, toh kaam kaise chal raha hai?

Maan is a very strict father…

Dhruv is doing his internship in Bangalore…

Dhruv: bahut achcha

Maan: remember that you are working for someone, you should always be responsible for whatever you do

Geet: toh aap shuru ho gaye ho?

Maan: Geet, he is not a child anymore, he should understand his responsibilities

Geet knows why Maan is so concerned about Dhruv…

Dhruv: bye maa, bye papa

Geet: Dhruv knows his responsibilities Maan, why don’t you trust him

Maan: I don’t want to take chances again Geet, I think I’ve learnt my lessons

Geet: aap abhi bhi usko maaf nahi karoge?

Maan: maaf? Kaise maaf kar saktha hoon Geet?

Maan is upset again… Geet can’t see him in pain…

Geet realises her mistake…

Geet: Maan, aap mere liye gift toh laye haina?

Maan: tumne mere liye kya liya hai Geet, bathao

Geet: mein?

Maan: haan, ye sirf tummare wedding day nahi hai Geet, har saal mein hi gift detha hoon, ye toh humnara silver jubilee year hai, tumme toh gift dena hi padega

Geet: achcha?

Maan: haan

Geet: pehle aap do phir mein dethi hoon

Maan: pacca?

Geet: haan pacca

Maan: tum hi balo ki tumne kya chahiye?

Geet: aap aaj mujhe poochthi ho? Itne din se kya kar rahe the?

Maan: wedding day aaj hi haina?

Geet: toh?

Maan: meine socha ki aaj hi tumme kudh lekhe jaatha aur tummare pasand ka gift detha, woh ek bahut achchi memory jo ban jayegi, haina?

Geet: seedhe seedhe bathao ki aap bhool gaye ho

Maan: mein bhool gaya tha, tumme toh gift dena ka idea bhi nahi hai

Geet: aap kya chota sa bache ho?

Maan: bacha nahi kabroo jawaan hoon

Maan tries to lift the mood…

Geet: jawaan ladhke ka baap

Maan: meri jawaani ke shak mat karo Geet, warna mujhe prove karna padega

Geet: toh karo

Maan starts driving super fast…

Geet: hare, mein mannthi hoon ki aap kabroo jawaan ho, isse pehle ke mein dar se mar jawoon thoda slow karo

Maan slows down…

Maan just wants Geet to forget the worries for a while…

Geet plays along to see a glimpse of her old Maan…

Maan and Geet had a dream married life with a beautiful family, but everything changed and their life has shattered into pieces…

Geet looks at the mirror to confirm that she is still a good competitor for our gabroo jawaan…

Geet has literally no signs of aging…

Maan who is watching her can’t deny the fact that she is the one who is getting more and more beautiful over the years…

Màan: Geet, mein toh hamesha jawaan hi rahoonga, par tum toh aaj bhi waise hi ho jaise meine tumme pehli bar dekha

Geet remembers the past…

Geet’s father who came to know about Maan believed in him and impressed by his grit and honestly wanted Maan to marry his only daughter Geet…

Mr.Handa had introduced Maan to his family at a function…

He didn’t say anything about Maan being the prospective dulha for Geet to Geet, but the others knew about it…

Everyone liked Maan…

Maan didn’t know that the Handa family is having an introduction session of their SIL..

Maan talked to Darji and Mr.Handa, that too strictly business matters…

After a halo to Geet, Maan turned towards Darji and never looked at her…

But Geet was only looking at him, she thought they might be doing some business with him…

They would have got them married then itself but for Maan’s hesitation…

After knowing his daughter’s mind Me.Handa approached Madan Khurana and he readily accepted the proposal…

But Maan had a problem….

Maan didn’t want to marry until he grew his business to a profitable one…

Maan said that he can’t marry for another two years…. Mr.Handa was ready to wait till Maan is ready for the marriage…

Maan didn’t want to keep them at bay for he was not even thinking of marriage at that time….

Madan informed Mr.Handa not to wait for them and he wished they would get a better boy for Geet….

Maan would have agreed to marry immediately if only he had seen Geet properly…

Geet can’t stop thinking about Maan even after they left the function…

Normally the boys keep staring at Geet admiring her but everything changed with Maan…

Geet who never showed interest in boys or is shy to look at them was actually looking at Maan the whole time..

That was possible b’coz Maan was not looking at her and neither he was aware that some beautiful girl is starting at him…

They forgot about that for a while as Geet was busy in her final year of studies….

After Geet completed her graduation Mr.Handa started looking for other alliances for Geet….

Handas did get a few more proposals for Geet but they were not as good as Maan…

Handaji himself rejected those boys… Ranno was worried about keeping Geet unmarried for so long but Handaji has already selected his damad…

But after having known Maan no other boy could satisfy his expectations….

Ranno and Madan had a heated argument about Geet’s marriage getting delayed…

Geet interfered and then got to know that Madan’s dilemma…

Geet liked how Maan conducted himself with so much dignity… her respect for him grew when her father told her how Maan strictly said that he would marry only when he is capable of looking after the girl who marries him…

Geet immediately told her father that she is ready to wait…

Geet had made her mind that she’ll marry only Maan …

Maan had no idea that his bride is waiting for him….

Maan had just finished the works of his new office building, KC has been functioning from a small rented space till now…

Maan started KC with a small investment from his father, Madan Khurana and he worked hard to establish a name in the construction industry…

Many relatives who didn’t even care to know whether Madan had a daughter or son are now ready to have their daughters married to Maan…

Madan told Maan that Handa has approached them again and he too wished that Maan married their daughters…

Maan was only happy to marry Mr.Handa’s daughter whose was the first and only proposal that came for Maan when he was struggling with the new business… Maan didn’t even know her name…

His focus was fully on his business then…

Maan thought about marriege only after he started to get a steady income from his business…

Maneet marriage talks begun and Handaji was shocked to know that Maan doesn’t know Geet…

He told Madan that they could talk about marriage only after Maan meets Geet…

Madan didn’t bother as he knew about Handaji and his family…

Maan met Geet at a restaurant…

Geet came with her brother Teeto…

Maan just kept looking at Geet not knowing how to ask her if she liked him or not…

Maan liked how Geet initiated the conversation without any hesitation…

Geet has known him for two years and she also knows that he is the one with whom she is going to share the rest of her life…

She was waiting for an opportunity to talk with him for so long…

She won’t miss out this golden opportunity….

Geet: I like you, I have known you since two years, do you remember when we met at that function?

Maan is shocked to know that Geet knew him even before Handaji came to him with the proposal…

Maan: I knew I will only marry Ms.Handa

Geet is happy to know that somewhere Maan too wished to marry her only…

Geet: you didn’t say that you like me?

Geet innocently asked him with a little disappointment that he didn’t say that he wanted to marry Geet but Mr.Handa’s daughter….

Maan smiled and said.. “I do like you, I don’t know if I could have waited for 2 years had I known you earlier”

That was enough for Geet… she was in cloud nine then…

Maan was only talking to Teeto thereafter…

When Geet became a part of his life, Maan worked even harder to give Geet her dream life…

Geet stood by him strongly and Maan forgot that he got a family until his became a father.…

Dhruv is not the only son of Maneet…

Their first child is Ahaana, their lovely daughter…

Ahaana made Maan a complete family man…

Geet delivered Ahaana prematurely and Maan forgot his business for a whole six months when Ahaana was in incubation for more than a month and later in a protective environment at home…

Geet was too weak and her only responsibility was to feed her daughter…

Maan took care of the rest of the things… .

Ranno couldn’t come and stay with Geet as Handaji has a by-pass surgery… .

There was a maid to help Geet but Maan never let her do anything…

He took care of Geet and also the little one…

Even after Geet got back to normal life Maan continued to nurture his daughter himself…

The only time when he was not with her was when he was at KC…

The rest of the time he spent with her only…

She too didn’t bother Geet much and wanted her father all the time…

Maan gave all the love and support to his daughter and she became his world soon…

Maan was there with her at every step of her life…

Geet delivered Dhruv and was busy taking care of him while Maan took care of little Ahaana who just started going to school…

Maan went to drop and pick her for she won’t go with anyone else…

From holding her in his arms to celebrating her graduation, Maan was there with his daughter as a proud father…

Geet never bothered much about Ahaana and she gave her full attention to her son Dhruv…

Maan always said that Ahaana is his daughter while Dhruv is Geet’s son…
