Maan calls Adi for help....
Adi comes to Khnana office with Pinky....
Maan: Adi, koi galthi nahi, it's KC's reputation at stake, remember to double check everything
Adi: ji sir
Pinky comes munching her chips.....
Pinky: Adi, tum canteen kyun nahi aaye mere saath? yahan ka vada pav bahut hi tasty hai
Adi: ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
Maan stares Adi and Adi is so scared.... Maan ko itne gussa hothe hue kahin din ho gaye....
Maan: Adi ye kya ho raha hai?
Adi: vada pav sir, nahi sir, Pinky sir, nahi sir
Pinky offers the chips to Maan....
Maan: aaaaaaaaaaaaddiiiiiiiiiiiiiii
both of them run for their lives....
Maan takes utmost care that everything is perfect for the big occasion....
he stays at the venue the whole day and doesn't even have the time to freshen up...
Dev gets Maan a black suit as a gift when they were shopping...
Maan has to go with it now as he doesn't have the time to go home......
It's party time.....
Maan has made sure that every minute detail makes a mark in Geet's heart....
whatever little time that Maan got to spend with Geet, Maan saved those beautiful moments permanently in his memory...
In the past five years, there is not a single day that passed without Maan remembering Geet and at least one such moment that he spent with Geet.....
Dev is all ready to rock the party....
he looks cool in his white suit....
Geet is still getting ready.... she had to get Aditi ready first....
Dev came early to help Maan... Maan didn't allow Dev even to pick a single pin....
Maan did the whole arrangements....
As Dev comes Maan's eyes look for his Mishty....
Dev: Good evening Maan
Maan doesn't respond....
Dev: Maan, Maan
Maan: haan Dev. you look good
Dev: not better than you, so it's true that black is always the winner, i should have listened to your advice, anyways I'm happy that one of us got lucky to own that suit, i think you need that more than me, ladhkiyan toh pehle hi tum pe fida hai, ab toh tumme koi nahi rokh saktha, luckily Pari is not here, it's your day man, enjoy
Dev winks....
Maan: tum akhele aaye ho?
Dev: you know how long the ladies take to get ready, I can't wait for them, i have promised to help you na? by the way Geet should know how hard I worked to get all this ready
Dev takes a look around.... he is impressed.....
Dev: great job man, you killed it
Maan just smiles..... he has to impress someone else...
Maan: Adi, get some drinks for us
Adi brings sweet lassi and also the spicy version....
Dev: oh no no, I just can't, take it away
Maan: what's wrong Dev? shall I change the drink?
Dev: it's perfect Maan, Geet would easily live with this lassi alone, she loves it like anything, but i just hate it, don't know how u people even like that smell
Maan: that's true
Dev: even Aditi loves it, Geet tried a lot to convince me but it's just not possible
Maan: waise Aditi kab aayegi?
Dev: anytime now
just then Aditi comes running......
Aditi: papa papa
Maan's heart yearns to just grab her and hold her close to his heart once....
she goes and jumps into Dev's hands....
Maan had to be content just watching her.....
Aditi: papa bhook lagi hai
she keeps her little hand on her tummy and fakes it to be empty....
Dev: Geet ne tujhe kuch bhi nahi khilaya?
Aditi: nahi
she makes a face.........: aap mummy ko datoke na?
Dev: haan, let her come
Maan: hai sweety, come I'll get you something to eat
Maan opens his arms.....
Aditi looks at Dev... after getting her papa's permission she jumps over to Maan.....
Maan hugs her tight and kisses her cheeks..... she immediately wipes her cheek with her tiny fingers....
Dev: oh she always does that Maan, she is Ms.clean and clear
but Maan knows where she got that habit from, from her mother...
once when Maan went to see Geet at Hoshiarpur after their engagement.... going back to the past....
Maan had some work in their farm, it's just an excuse he made to meet Geet...
he thought he could meet Geet before going back....
he sent the message that he'll be waiting for Geet in the Khurana farmhouse thru one of her friends...
Geet first didn't like the idea of meeting Maan without her family's knowledge....
but then she too wanted to see Maan, she wanted to ask him why he proposed the idea of marrying her... is it b'coz of pity, or maybe it's a way to take her to Canada for her studies...
Geet is happy that her dreams are going to come true, but she never dreamed about that Rajkumar who would come and take her in his white horse....
Geet wouldn't deny the fact that Maan is no less than a Rajkumar, the dream prince of every girl....
why would he marry Geet? he would have a lot of better options, maybe he even has a girlfriend back in Canada.... this is just an arrangement to enable Geet pursue her dream.....
Geet doesn't bother faking a marriage as long as she knows what's in Maan's mind...
maybe that's why he wants to meet her alone....
Geet goes to meet Maan.... Maan is waiting for her.....
Geet knocls the door... Maan knows it's Geet...
Maan: andar aao Geet
Geet opens the door hesitantly...
she is scared a little to meet him alone like this, after all she is a young girl with all the tender feelings for that age and MSK ka kamaal toh sab jaanthe hai....
Geet peeps in and finds Maan sitting in the couch....
she enters and waits for Maan to turn around and call her....
but Maan is busy drinking his black coffee and doesn't care about the formalities...
any other girl Maan has ever come across would have been sharing his coffee at the moment.... but this is Geet Handa....
Geet clears her throat....
Maan: Geet, meine toh pegle hi invitation de diya hai, ab aur kitne bar bhulana padega Hoshiarpur ki rani ko
Geet thinks that she should return for a second....
Maan finally gets up and comes to receive her.... : come in Geet
Geet goes and stands beside him...
Geet: aap ne kyun bhulaya?
Maan: pehle aaram se beitjao, coffee?
Geet: mujhe coffee pasand nahi hai
here comes the honest reply.... koi aur ho toh Maan ko kabhi mana nahi karegi....
Maan: mujhe chai banana nahi aatha, tum chaho toh tummare liye bana sakthi ho
Geet: nahi
Maan: kade kyun ho? beito
Maan grabs her hand and makes her sit....
Geet is speechless....
Maan: tum kuch bologi nahi?
Geet just moves her head left to right........
Maan: tumme mujhse kuch poochna hai toh poocho Geet
Geet is still silent
Maan: mujhe kuch poochna hai, in fact I should have asked you before itself'
Geet is now sure that her theory of Maan doing this fake shadhi is real....
Maan: do you have any problems with this shadhi?
Geet: nahi nahi, mujhe bhi koi farak nahi padtha
Maan is confused.... shadhi se koi farak nahi padtha ya shadhi karnewale se koi farak nahi padtha?
Maan: what?
Geet: mujhe toh shadhi ki drama karne se koi problem nahi hai
Maan pagal ho jaatha hai.... ye ladhki kya baat kar rahi hai?
Maan: kya? tum kya kehthi ho Geet
Geet recites her story in one go...
Maan couldn't control his laughter but still keeps a serious face just to hear the story till the end....
Geet: mujhe aapki girlfriend se bhi koi problem nahi hai, I'll never disturb you'
Maan: bas ho gayi, ya picture abhi bakhi hai
Geet: ho gayi
Maan: toh tum ye shadhi issi liye karna chahthi ho?
Geet blinks.... what would she tell now.....
Maan: kya tum jaanthe ho ki mein ye shadhi kyun karna chahtha hoon?
Maan gets closer to Geet....
Geet couldn't look into his eyes, she keeps looking down...
Maan: kyunki I like you Geet
so saying Maan kisses her cheek...
immediately Geet does just like Aditi...
Maan laughs seeing her childish act....
Geet is blushing like a bride now...
Maan: Geet, meri girlfriend aaise nahi karthi
Geet: aapki girlfriend hai?
Maan: girlfriend nahi girlfriends
Geet turns pale and her jealousy is clearly visible in her eyes...
Maan: girlfriends the, abhi toh tum hi ho meri girlfriend
Geet is happy hearing that.....
Maan keeps admiring her changing emotions....
Geet doesn't want to stay there with him alone after knowing his liking for her...
she is also feeling the same.... but she can't just tell out loud like Maan....
Geet: mein jaoon
Maan: kyun? kya jaldi hai?
Geet: woh ghar mein sab doondhenge
Maan doesn't want to trouble her more.... he knows her plight from her increasing heart beat.....
Maan: jao
Geet runs away from that place at once.....
