I have checked the IF previous links which I had bookmarked in the browsers

they were all starting with http://

It seems recently IF has made the link secure, meaning all IF addresses will now start as https://

(s is for secure SSL encryption)

so when you try to give hyperlink in your story, in the address drop down box for http or https first select https (It is the second option)

instead of http (which is the default first option) then give the link.

best way is to use the URL tag and to follow the custom format (see the How to Add Image post for this)

PS -- Also, it seems that links from existing or older stories are already automatically changed to https:// now

Yes they did it programmatically, else the index would have messed up.

one more thing..😳

the tag QUOTE comes in pair, meaning starting tag

and ending tag with a forward slash along with QUOTE word in brackets.

If you want to remove, you can remove both in the pair or keep both in the pair, then the quote format will appear properly (that is reply with original comment) 😊
