G-Why? Have you opened charity for beggars?

M-You are not a beggar and I don't have that charitable a heart

She looks at him, his eyes directly hazing into hers with intensity

M-I mean my friend...he has a big house... sort of like a... farmhouse...its empty no one lives there. You know the same one whom I said can give you a job

G-Toh tumne wahan job kyun nahi kar li[she said grimly]

He was panicking inside, he couldn't think of anyplace else so refered to the place away from the city where he actually lived as his own identity away from Antara and Akhil mess

He is panicked coz Geet is hurt and she doesn't have a plan or a place to go and she is talking about going to Africa. Africa!!!

She looking at him...waiting for an answer...her eyes blinking after intervals like a doll

M- I... I didn't want to work for him coz it felt more like pity than my really deserving the job

G-Then why..do you... live...there?

M-I...live there not always...actually there was some attempt to break in since he hasn't used the place for like years...so he asked me if I would stay there for few days and deter anyone form trying to breaking and entering

She gasps

Geet looks thoughtful; kya kare favor le yaa nahi

In the past he deserted her, deserted her coz she is clingy

He smiles at her bada wala finally really happy

Geet also gives a small smile

M-So I'll take you to the house today then I'll bring your stuff from office tomorrow or do you want it today?

G-emm...no...I can manage for a day

M-Also should I go by your home and get your clothes and things or you will buy some new?

G-My things... I have it packed...near my desk...there would be a suitcase

M-Alright. I'll bring it back tomorrow

Maan pats her shoulder and puts over the sheet

M- You just relax and take care...I'll figure out the rest

She nods...his words echoing in her ears like a warm assurance

M- and umm sorry for the movie...I put the ticket in my desk and forgot about it totally...I am sorry...

Geet peeps out of the sheet

M-I would have informed you if I wasn't gonna come but it just slipped out of my mind...I was going to apologize but you were already so angry the next day so I thought I'll apologize when you calm down...but then you went home... and then...now all this. I decided I better say it before something else happens. We can go watch some other one if you want to..?

G-Umm

She bites her lip in a confused manner her doe like eyes widened

M-So you wanna go or maybe not...?

G-Depends

She utters under the sheet

M-On?

G-The movie

M-Which one do you wanna watch?

G-Depends

M-On?

G-On what movie is released

M-I see. So why don't you let me know tomorrow if you want to watch movie or not and then I'll book us tickets

G-emm

M-And oh I forgot to tell you one thing! Um...the house... there aren't any servants there so ... you'll have to do your own cooking and cleaning

G-emm...no problem...we don't have servants in our place. We are poor

M- Yeah but...I mean you had people helping out ...I mean... good then you can manage easily...I mean...perfect then

Maan khada hua

M- I'll go now...you rest

G-Thanks...for everything

M- Hey it's not...you don't have to thank me for anything. We are friends aren't we? If I can't do this much then what am I a friend for?
