PART 49

GEET'S POV:

When she woke up at the hospital, her first thought was that she was late for her meeting in NYC. She just planned that big fashion event for her line of designer collection and was planning on opening another new line for kids off course her motivation were her jiji's kids...
When she opened her eyes, her mom-dad, jiji-jiju were staring back at her curiously, all with tears in their eyes. So melodramatic... she knew they were.
That's when she realized that something must have happened to her. Judging from the throbbing pain she felt in her head, the fact that she could barely move her body due the tight bandages wrapped around her in the rib area and all those pipes. She guessed that she was in a car accident.
Damn! she wonder which of her cars she has to say goodbye to. She just hoped it's not her new Ferrari. She just bought it a month ago and damm she had a pay a lot. She would hate to say goodbye to it so soon.
When she spoke, she thought of being her dads pet types.. a joke and everybody around laughed in relief. She called each of them by name. Then, her eyes landed on an unfamiliar face.

Her brain immediately alerted .. screaming "Gorgeous.. Gorgeous . Then she knew gorgeous was probably an understatement. His face was handsome and surely she missed a beat there. His hair wasn't perfect and oh my my his body was like of a Greek God especially with that perfectly fitted black shirt. This guy looked the protagonist her jiji used to talk about from her pathetic romantic novels when they were teenagers. She wondered if this what she meant when she said Greek God. His chocolate mesmerizing eyes had a perfect almond shape. Oh my my .. it took her breath away.

Who was he? What is he doing here with her family, looking torn and relieved at the same time?
In spite of herself, her heart hammered inside her ribcage. Her pulse doubled its pace. She couldn't take her eyes off him. He was... irresistibly Charming. She studied him further. He looked flawless. Surely jiji wala Greek God..she concluded. His eyebrows were perfect. He had circles around his eyes that seem to say that he hasn't slept in days, he still looked breathtaking.

It took her a moment to realize that she was actually fascinated by him. Herself.. The Geet Handa, arrogant and contented of being fully in control of her hormone levels to prevent a man from having power over her. She was actually experiencing intense feel of desire for this man, who she hasn't seen before.

He was looking at her with those hopeful almond eyes.

His smile when he looked at her was electric and his eyes were that deep chocolate brown. It sounded stupid to herself but those eyes of his sparkled.. Really what kind of dork things like that anyways.. She obviously.. Looks like the hit on her head has got her really bad. Otherwise she won't be reacting in any of this way.

Wait what? Is he expecting her to know his name??
She tried hard to recollect is he jiju's friend? Or may be jiji's then what the hell is she doing with jiju. Wait .. control geet .. control.

She knew she didn't die .. then how come she was seeing this Greek God before her! Even then she should be seeing mama's babaji not some Greek God from jiji's novels. She had no clue.. Damn.. she was intrigued. She would definitely would like to know more about him. His perfect kissable lips.. Really did she think "kiss.. She definitely knocked herself bad in the accident.

His eyes wavered as if the suspense was killing him. Like he was expecting something from her.

Geet wondered what!!

For that moment she wanted to do anything that would ease that wavering..

Then she noticed not just him, everyone was expecting her to say something to him.

Everybody in the room fell quiet, looking at her, waiting for her to say something... to this Greek God.
Well, right now, there are a hundred things she would like to say to him or at least this accident induced hormones would like to. But she would rather say them when they are alone... hopefully .. she didn't want her thoughts to go in that direction. Mama would just kill her if she knew what was going in her otherwise decent daughter's head right now.

She tried to say something.. and the first thing that came out was, "Who the hell are you?
Everybody gasped. And he looked devastated and annoyed all at the same time. His eyes now lit up like on fire. How could she say he was annoyed probably because his eyes looked so intense now. She could see disappointment and that glint of goldenish brown. Wait did he just showed annoyance to Geet Handa. What does he think of himself. Oh dammit.. Thats when she arrogantly dismissed him as her assistant. Yet..this dark mysterious aura he presented excited her.

Soon, she learned that his name was Maan. And apparently, he introduced himself to her family as her fiance.
Moron! What did he think of her? Or her family? That they were a bunch of idiots?
Nice try! she thought sarcastically.

What did he think.. With all that charm of his .. he could enter her world. She was still curious where did he come from though? How did he even know her? She was 100% sure she haven't seen him before. And definitely.. If she had met him before.. She would for Goodness remember this Greek God.

She gave him one last look before they were all shoved outside the room.

He looked as if he was in some shock, as if he didn't know what hit him. Funny because she thought she was the one who got into an accident.
For hours they ran their tests on her. Her mind felt as if it was suspended in air. She was barely aware of the questions they asked her, which she answered absent-mindedly. About all her consciousness now focused on the Greek God waiting outside with her family.
Why did he introduce himself as her fiance? Did he plot the whole thing, and think she wouldn't wake up to put him behind bars? She mentally prepared herself for the worst from this handsome threat. It would be a fun game.. Just that it would be a shame to all that handsomeness. These cheats are getting so innovative now a days she wondered.
