The unbearable pain coursed through his body, he had no idea what was going on but the pain was unbearable, he could feel his muscles tensed and suddenly he groaned so loud that reverberated throughout. It was going on for few days, the pain, the sudden sense of longing again lingering in his thoughts. His temple tensed as he tried to ease the pain that was now blinding his sight.

NOO... He screamed as he trashed in the bed again. His body going stiff and there was a sudden calmness that passed for a moment.

There he composed himself and saw his parents entering his room. Maan was only in his tracks there was sweat all over him and his mother looked at his father for once before coming close to Maan to soothe Maan's pain. Maan could feel the the motherly affection oozing out of his mother, he could smell her sweet smile that comforted him when he was an infant.

Mum, you smell like my favorite cookies dipped in milk, Maan said with glazed eyes and the next moment he shouted on his parents to leave him alone.

Leave... Dad, take mum away.. there was a hidden plea in his voice but his mother didn't deter and next Maan trashed again as his hands grew talons making his hands bleed and he lost his consciousness.
