You nailed it with the Mohinder one.

I felt a lot. I just wish we don't become victims of what we want in the end, when it is too much, dreams are dreams, you can't make your whole life around it, because even if let's say you fulfill it, what next? Mohinder, Rano, Geet, Tara, Maan all are trapped in what they don't have. I can excuse Maan and Geet because it's still time, but at some point of time, you just make peace with it. Then I guess people don't let you forget either.

Part 70 - Now its part 70. The journey of the story has been long and it felt that nothing has happened but same time it feels so much had happened bet them. They came long since they got married and came to know lots of things about each other.

Maan came here for her and now when she knew why he came she was avoiding him. I liked how you wrote about from his point of view. How he has prepared him mind after reading her letter. He realized what he was missing or how he was so much used to her presence, her talking. He felt more lonely after her gone leaving him. Happy to know that what he felt for her. And I hope he could say all these feelings to her and start afresh.

His childhood memories were sad that how he lost his parents at such a young age.

He was cheering for her to attain her goal of plucking the hibiscus flower, it was like his natural reaction to her. And I hope he will support her at every step.

Hope geet will allow him to talk to her and solve this problem, at least he deserves one chance as he came to get her back home.

Part 71 - A father's point of view. Such beautifully narrated how he felt loser in fulfilling other dream. Geet vented her anger / frustration on her easy target, her mother and her mother vented her anger on her easy target, her husband. But he could do nothing to blow off his anger, he had no one to cry on his shoulder. Obviously at such moments a person always remembers his mother who was always there to soothe his pain.

My heart cried for his agony. He was not wrong in judging maan, it was obvious. But what went wrong in these years he was unaware. He thought that all these years maan will be same. He never thought about he could fell for other woman or could change his behavior. He assumed that maan was same and he must have achieved his dreams. He was wrong in judging the reality, how time passed and everything changed excluding his opinion about maan. And that why he took the first opportunity to get marry off his daughter when time came.

He was leaving his dream of becoming doctor thru his daughter. But again he underestimated other things that could go wrong for her.

Rano has supported him all his life, her life but she accused him of failing in his duties. When time came she stood for her daughter and not her husband when he had trusted that she will support him.
