About translation: I tried my best to simplify the words for all the readers as Rabindranath and his epic classics do contain exceeding level of hidden treasures with every nook and corner of the words also Bangla is a historically rich language for literature, especially the words late legend used those are indeed profound in meaning.

The song is basically telling to one's beloved that he or she is exactly like what they have wanted in a life partner, companion. But if his companion feels she is not happy with him then she should definitely seek happiness. But for that if she leaves him then his life would become miserable but he would keep on going as she would always be in his mind-memories.
If she falls in love with another man and never comes back to him then also he would let her have her happiness even if that would push him in a pool of sorrow!!- talking about Selfless love and yearning here!
