Chapter 17


Around 12 in night


Maan back from office it was a hectic day . Keeping bag on bed he take a deep breath . But feel something missing . When he actually notice geet didn't welcome him and then she is not even in room ! Where is she he wonder? It's a routine since they are married . She always wait for him.
He call nakul and hearing his voice nakul come with in a minute

M- where is geet nakul?
N- sir vo mam is outside .
M- why? It's too late !
N- sir , mam ne subah s kuch bhi nhi khaya
M- hmm ok arrange mine & her food here
Saying so he dismissed him.


Maan come outside and found her sitting on besnch looking lost . That was not so her . Never ever since he meet her he saw her so sad .

He faked cough to gain her attantion

Geet come out from her thoughts when she hear him

M- it's late Geet u should sleep now .

G- v vo
M- what happen ? U need something ?
She nodded in no

M- baat kya h ?
Geet look at him not understanding if she should share with him or not ? she wanted to cry , she so desprately want to meet to kavya. But more than anything she was emotionally charged today wanted to just cry. It was the same day when she lost her mom & dad.
G- aisa kuch nhi h
Maan was not conveinced but nodded
M- we should go in room now . I'm starving and i hope u too . Nakul told me u had nothing since morning .

Geet just nodded and follow him .

In room both ate in silance . It was first time in past one month that she was silant otherwise she share her routine with him always .

M- u talked with kavya today?
She just nodded in yes taking a few morsel she say
G- i'm full

What happen to her maan wonder?

After he finished she just cleaned and lay on her side of bed .

It's around 1 now so maan to thought to finally sleep. he lay on his side closing his eyes after sometime he hear her sobs

He startled with her behaviour immidatly he turned the lights on

M- geet what happen ?

She immidatly hug him crying her heart out . In years she never let kavya feel alone but today even kavya is not here .
Maan was panicked not understanding what happen to her . Never in his life he consoled anyone , wondering what he should do now?

But her sobs were turning into cries
Wrapping his hands around her for only purpose to console her he asked
M- are u get hurt ?
She nodded in no but unable to control her tears
M- kisi ne kuch kha?
Still no
M- geet kuch toh batao
He said with slightly raised voice getting irritated as he don't know how to console her never trapped in this situation .
But seeing her not stopping he rubbed her back trying to calm her down . Half an hour they lay still with her in his arms with her tears not stopping at all .

He waited for her to speak giving her time to compose herself

Wiping her tears he say

M- u want to share?

When few more tears made ways out of their eyes

M- shh ok it's ok if u don't wanna share

When he hear her
G- maa baba
he waited for her to complete
G- vo aaj gye the aur kabhi vapas nhi aaye

Saying so she again hug him crying her heart out ...
He let her cry for some time giving her peace . Knowing sometime it's important to let emotions flow completely.

After some time when she stopped
Maan cupped her face wiping her remaining tears he lay and pull her in his arms kissing her forehead he say
M- sleep geet now sleep

He patted her untill she sleep .

He is never a man of words . He never know how to console her . How to less her pain . Never know how to put his emotions in words . So he just pull her in his arms giving her his warmth a sense of security . Just a assurance is what he can give her .

at first she didnt share about her parents death anniversary
but in the night she is not able to control her feeling so she tells
maan tries his best to control nice of maan..
