Arjun questioned Maan about his demeanor and what he did with Geet. Arjun question made Maan furious and was ready to leave the place. Geet didn't let Maan's image down in front of Arjun and blamed both equally for the failure of their relationship. Geet is absolutely right with her words Maan can't stand against his mother and doesn't have courage to take stand for him and his life Infront of his mother. Guess can't blame him since childhood he obliged to accept his mother's words hence till now he is continuing to do so. Past well penned. Geet did mentioned him about her wish to work not for money's sake but it was her dream. When geet voiced out her thoughts before her parents they too made her shut owing to the wonderful alliance from Khurana s. On other hand his family members were thinking of ways to keep Geet under control owing to her wish for working. Maan didn't clear Geet about his family's thoughts regarding job prespective and failed to understand her dreams too

Geet always wanted to work nt fr money but for her dreams

Geet's parents wanted geet to say yes fr d alliance

Khurannas were against Geet's work ..n maan too accepted whatever his elders decided ..no doubt he always listen his elders

so blinded in his male ego he forgot that his wife is also a part of his life not a mere object to please him

So maan and his mother never wanted geet to do job!
