Hello people. This idea is totally delusional, but I am shamelessly going ahead and posting this on forum. Constructive criticism is always welcome!

A thousand voices in my head. They fight, laugh and eliminate themselves . I sit in the farthest corner of the Brain, lest they hunt for me.

They deride, they mock and poke fun at me. I stand upright nevertheless ,waiting for my dreams to materialize and prove them wrong.

The Brain tries to reason with me, compel me, to cogitate over my stipulation but I do not deter.

The Positivity in mixed signals, paves way for me.I scurry on the way only to find a wall of insecurities ,who obnoxiously curb me. .I call out for my confederate who berates me and asks me to call him Confidence.

We walk hand in hand towards the impending goal only to be obstructed by Rivalry. She snorts and sneakily mutters in our ears , you don't deserve it.

Shaken by her claims , we oscillate towards our precious Brain. The Brain condescendingly says I told you so, and throws us out.

We find ourselves lost, wandering around like gypsies with no place to call as home.

Then , from far away we hear a pleasant voice, it belongs to Heart who opens her wide arms and exclaims .

Welcome back Expectation, you finally found your way!

Expectation finally resides in the heart of Geet and she manages to bargain with the gruffy Brain to run through with her plan of confession. The Brain finally admits his defeat and bow down to inevitable.

The next day arrives.

Geet sprints on her way to the office with new found zeal and gusto and knocks on the door of his cabin.

As he grants her the permission, she scurry inside and goes on her knees .

I love you Maan, most ardently.

As geet confesses , the expectations residing in the heart of Maan rejoices and sing the victory song over and over again.

We won.

The Welcome back thing was apt for the situations.

The tug of war between brain and heart, where brain usually win was so true.

Rivalry, insecurities you made them Vamps ,which they clearly are!

The confession with confidence was a treat for me

And his victory song was defo not weird but deep! 😛

brilliant concept..
loved the wandering like gypsies and no place to call as home..and then that welcome back !
you really have unique concepts and narration style..
for some words I had to take help of the google dictionary though 😆
wonderful one shot..
PS - I was expecting that hope and desire (will/willpower) will make their appearances too..😉
