Three Years Later

As the meeting came to an end Maan closed the file and looked at his cilent..

Maan-I hope Mr.Sharma, now all your queries are cleared!

Sharma- Thank you Mr.Khurana for having this meeting that too at this short notice, now only Mr.Adi told me that today your younger brother is getting married , if i knew this before i would have asked for this meeting few days back only..

Maan- its okay Mr.Sharma..I'm always there for my clients..

Sharma-I know Mr.Khurana, your company values their clients alot, that's why its so respected in the market , anyways now i should take your leave as you must be getting late..,saying so he got up ,Maan too got up to bid him bye, as he left, Maan closed his laptop and relaxed back on his chair, he looked at his watch..

Maan(st)- 3 hours passed, now Geet will surely kill me!, i should leave now!

But as he got up to leave, he heard a knock on his cabin's door..

Maan- yes come in!

Adi- Good Morning Sir!

Maan- good morning Adi, anything else?

Adi- no sir..just came here to ask you for Mehra's file as i thought to prepare the budget file for their project..

Maan- Mehra's project?, the one that we discussed a day before yesterday?

Adi- yes sir..

Maan- Adi you know that Geet is handling that project, few days back only we discussed that project , after that Geet went on leave so she must have not prepared the file yet..,and plus we will start working on that from next week so i think she has enough time for that..

Adi- But sir when i called Geet she said she had already prepared a rough file for that project , and asked me to prepare its account file too so that in future we will have less workload, she said before taking leave she had handed over that file to you so i can ask you!, as Adi said that Maan remembered that yes before going on leave Geet handed over few files to him but that time he didn't paid that much attention, as he was lost in wife at that moment, but offcourse he can't tell this to Adi so to cover up he acted..

Maan- oh yes i remember..you go , before leaving i will send that file to you..And yes these are reception invites for our staff , distribute them and you don't forget to attend the wedding in evening okay..

Adi- yes sir.., with that Adi left his cabin.., as he left, Maan started his search but didn't find the file..

Maan- where i kept the file?, not having another option he thought to call Geet, after two three rings Geet answered the call..

Geet- where are u Maan, you said you will be back within an hour ..three hours have passed where are you??, as Maan thought she is done with her questions he opened his mouth to answer her but then she again bombarded him with her questions...

Geet- now why are you not speaking?, say something???, don't tell me you are still in office..Maan are you listening??, Maan rolled his eyes on her continous questions..

Maan- Geet will you listen to me first..

Geet- how will i listen when you don't speak!

Maan- you will let me speak then only i will speak na?

Geet-you mean i'm not letting you speak..its ur brother's wedding instead of been at home to look at preparations you are roaming in your office and here i'm all alone working..., Maan knew if he answered her back this argument will go on so he thought to stop it hear only..

Maan- okay Geet you are right!, now you please tell me where is Mehra's project file?

Geet- i gave that to u only!

Maan- i know..but i don't remember where i kept that file that day, you were there when i was keeping that file do u remember where i kept it?

Geet- i knew something like this will happen..did u check your table draw..you kept it there?, Maan opened the table draw and found the file..

Maan- ah..got it!, On other side Geet shook her head at his carelessness..she remembered that day in office he was in his naughty mood and wasn't paying attention to her talks and kept the file in the drawer without paying attention , that's why he forget..

Geet- when are you returning home?

Maan- now only...

Geet- come soon!

Maan- yes Mrs.Khurana.., with that she cut the call, while Maan smiled at his childish yet sensible wife..

As Maan entered inside , he looked at the hustle bustle going around, he looked at his Dadima who was busy in ordering some people about the menu and other stuffs, he went to her and sat beside her ,

Maan- Dadima you go and rest i'm here i will look after this..

Dadima- little is left Maan...you must be tired after long meeting u should rest!

Maan- but dadima..

Dadima- Maan i'm okay..i'm not doing any phyical work , just ordering around.. you go and rest.., with that Dadima pushed Maan to go having no other option he got up and left ..

There were many men who were busy in decorating the house but in all this his eyes were searching his wife , soon he loacted her upstairs ordering one of the men to do his work properly, hearing to which the wedding planner which was already there to look after the decorations went to him to instruct..

Wedding Planner- Mam you don't worry i'm looking at this..

Geet- hmm.., soon one of the servants came to her to ask something, she listened , instructed and then went to look at other stuffs..

He was in awe with His wife , the Geet which he encountered in his school days , was so same yet so different from her, the innocence was still there in her but along with that the confident to mingle with others and standing for herself which she lacked that time , is there in her today, to be frank he never thought that one day he will witness this Geet also, few years before if someone asked him if he can live his life without Geet, then his answered would have been an immediate yes but today if anyone ask the same question his answer would be an immediate no, he can't even imagine a moment without her , yes she is his love but more than that she is his need, his need to live, his need to breathe.., he never told these words to Geet because he know he can't put his emotions in words, they are wordless, he know Geet expect him to express his feelings in words like she do but he can't because he don't know how to do it.., but the fact that Geet understands his unspoken words too he don't even feel the need to voice it out..because he know Geet know his feelings without him voicing it out and this fact makes him fall for her more..

He was upstairs now , Geet found his gaze on her but instead of giving him smile she averted her gaze from him, which didn't go well with him , he went and stood beside her..

Maan- what happened?

Geet- nothing..

Maan- then why you...but before he could say anything more Geet moved forward ordering someone to be careful..Maan moved along with her, he again tried to say something but geet did the same thing..Maan can bear anything but not her ignorance..., grabbing her hand in his tight grip he pulled her along with him, surprising Geet, she tried to free her hand but all her tries went in vain, people around looked at them, she forced a smile on her face to show them that everything is alright.., when they reched inside their room..

Geet- Maan what are you doing, all were loking at us!

Maan- so what!, why were you ignoring me?, pulling her close to him he questioned..

Geet- accha..you can make me wait as long as you want and i can't even ignore you..not fair!

Maan- when i made you wait?, he held her waist bringing her more close

Geet- leaving everything on me you left to attend that stupid meeting!

Maan- it was important and plus i didn't left u alone, there are so many people around you to help!, pulling her more close(if that possible as they were already glued to each other)

Geet- so what, i don't need them all i need you!, and that's it Maan angered vanished in thin air as he heard her..

Maan- i'm sorry Mishti but it was important..and i took your permission before going na??

Geet- yes but i told you to return back after an hour but you took so long.., leave me now...,she wriggled

Maan- geet..don't do that..or else.., he warned her as their bodies were in constant contact her wriggling was arousing him

Geet(looking directly in his eyes)-or else what?, she still wriggled in his arms to free herself..

Maan- okay, then don't complain..and with that he captured her lips in his shocking Geet, pushing her to nearby wall , he cherished her lips to his fullest, his lips made her forget her anger and she too gave into his demand of passion, as Maan felt Geet going out of breath he left her lips , both were breathing heavily, there bodies were still glued to each other, his poking hardness made her blush while her hardened nipple which were poking him even from her layer of clothings told her state to him..

Geet(breathing heavily)- you are bad..you always to do this..

Maan(touching his forehead to hers , he whispered on her lips)- what can i do..angry mishti always makes me loose my control..., both looked at each other, they knew where it's going to lead now, Maan moved forward to capture her lips again but before he could do so , they heard Meera

Meera- not again!

As they heard her,they immediatedly separated, Maan didn't even turn back to look at her while Geet was hell embrrassed to look at her..

Meera- tch tch come'on guys its a wedding home..you both should be extra careful , atleast close doors before doing something like that..anyways whom i'm lecturing, you both are famous for romancing whether its home or office..you both don't care !, anyways Geet if you are done with your shramana and all , come to Nishi's room me and sameera are waiting for you...saying so she left..

As she left, Geet sighed and said- Maan i'm going..

Maan- ge.., even before he could complete her name she left in hurry..

Evening

Vicky was already in mandap while Panditji was chatting some mantras, after a while he called the bride, hearing the tingling of bangles all eyes went upstairs to look at the bride, Nishi accompanied by her girls gang was coming downstairs, the bride's and Groom's eyes met, both were having a blend of various thoughts inside thier mind, their was happiness, nervousness , exceitment everything!

Nishi still can't believe she had fallen in love with him..the person who used to irritate her so much she had fallen for him..that's why people say love is the most unpredictable thing in the world..it can happen to anyone, anywhere at anytime same happened with her, the friend who was always there for her , when she never asked him to there he was still there, cared for her, loved her without any greed, she insulted him , told him to stay away from her ,still he never left her side, the person whom she pissed off so much but after bearing so much too he came back to her , taking all her tanturms , all her negative aspects ,still didn't leave her,then how can she not fall for him, she had to bow down to his determined love...

Vicky as he saw her coming downstairs ,dressed as his bride ,he had urge to pinch himself as it still looked like a dream to him, he can't believe finally he is getting married to her, the queen of stubborness, the most irritating person in the world but whatever she was he can't deny the fact that he truly loves her too.., that's why he never lossed hope to win her , yeah she was stubborn to not fall for him but he too was no less he made her fall for him finally...

They still have ulgy arugments regarding anything and everything but at the end of the day they kiss and make up themselves as somewhere they know that they can't live without each other too...

In the presence of Family and friends they tired the knot , they took blessing of dadima, Vicky moved towards his bro to get his blessing but before he can bow down , Maan hugged her and patted his back..saying be happy always!, Geet looked at Nishi and hugged her.., separting her from Geet, Nishi looked at both Maan and Geet..

Nishi- Thank u Both of you..

Geet- nishi..

Nishi- let me say this Geet..whatever i'm today is because of you both..and special thanks to you Maan.., as they heard her both were surprised as Nishi always said thank u to Geet but never said anything to Maan but today she did..

Nishi(looking at Geet)- i know you must be knowing this but let me say this..your Maan loves you alot!

Geet smiled as she heard her and said- i know!, she looked at Maan with love and respect while saying so..

Nishi- Maan a mere thank u will never be enough from my side but that all i can say..after whatever i did with you..any other person at your place must have ignored me and let me suffer but you thought about my treatment , thought to cure me fully..

Maan-i..

Nishi- i know you did all that because Geet and Vicky loved me, for their happiness you forgive me and did all that.., you may never express your feelings in words but what you do for your love ones is enough to make them feel how lucky there are to have you..thank you so much.. and i'm really greatful that Geet got you as her soulmate!..Geet you said na one day i will realize it i finally have..thank you Maan , thank you eveything. i own you alot!

Maan- Nishi even i own u alot , you looked after my Life i.e Geet in my absence what more can i ask for..so our equation is equal now, okay..

Hearing his reply all smiled

Maan- you both are going to step in new phase of your life, forget the past as it has already passed, you both have a bright future ahead think about that...right Geet??

Geet(smiled)- yes!

Night

Geet was walking in their room to and fro waiting for Maan, as he entered inside she pounched on him with her questions..

Geet- where were you?, i was waiting for you from so long..

Maan- really..i thought you must busy in playing games with Vicky and Nishi , that's why i was passing my time with few relatives..

Geet- you always do this.. whenever i need you , you do all the unexpected things!, she cribbed..

hearing her cribbing Maan thought to tease her, closing the door behind him, he picked her up in his arms and moved towards their bed..

Maan- oh ho today my mishti is needing me alot ..but she don't know how much i need her.., he dropped her on bed and came on top of her..

Geet- Maan wait..first i need to tell you something.., she was nervous

Maan- what?

Geet- woh..a..

Maan- mishti be quick ..., she looked at him and kissed him lovingly on his lips, Maan too reciprocated to her love...both expressed their love to each other through their kiss

Maan(whispered)- wow..what's the surprise?, untangling their tangled fingers , Geet placed his palm on her abdomen..

Geet- i'm pregnant.., surprised Maan looked at her as if confirming it again to which Geet nodded her head...

Maan- Geet..., he didn't know what to say he just hugged her tightly to express his happiness..

Maan- when you got to know this?

Geet- i was having doubt from few days but today asked sameera and she confirmed!

Maan(excited), he lifted her kurti and kissed her stomach.., your papa and mama are eagerly waiting for you baby..

Geet shook her head seeing his excietment..suddenly maan remembered something and he looked at Geet

Maan- oh no..i was wild last night, what if i hurted the baby and you..Geet you should have shared this doubt with me!

Geet- Maan you can never hurt me or baby in your unconsicious too..

Maan- whatever but we have to be extra careful now ,i should take an appointment from doctor for tomorrow.. and you close your eyes and sleep now you have to take proper rest and eat properly...

Geet(was amazed to see his this side)- Maan there is still 9 months.., Maan looked at her

Maan- i know but..you know what Geet..just close your eyes and sleep...

Geet- you know na i can't sleep without you, she hugged him and pulled him down with her.., both slept in each other's arms dreaming about their baby...😳
