Reading the prologue carefully second time, i am really confused.

Maan is silently listening to everyone, not defending himself, means he is really wrong.

His guilt is visible if he is quiet, he has realized what sin he committed.

But what is the reason that maan hated geet and his own unborn baby so much?

Was he not ready to marry geet but dadi ma forced him for the family sake? Did he accept geet as a compensation for one of his brothers' sins?

And meera too knows geet loved him very much, she sacrificed everything for him. Mohinder and Rano's reactions are absolutely natural as parents, can't blame them at all.

Perhaps maan had accused geet in the past of entering his life forcibly, or with a bad motive, that could be the reason he hates her.

But then, how come geet conceived a baby from him? And maan too moved forward for that relation, did he just keep geet for his own pleasure, ready to chuck her out like a trash?

So confusing, but shocking that a person like maan could do something so low and mean.

One relief, at least he is accepting his crime and repenting, hope everything goes smoothly.
