LOCATION: KHURANA CONSTRUCTIONS (KC)
Next day just before lunchtime Dr. Shashank Gupta visited KC and headed for Maan's chamber. Maan had kept today free as he knew after announcing about his and Geet's wedding, Dadimaa (although still in ICU was at her commanding best no one needed her introduction to know that she is MSK's grandmother!), RK, Vicky and Doctor Uncle will continously disturb Maan and Geet.
Maan's assumption was right and Doctor Uncle was in KC bringing Dadimaa's message, no order "MAAN AND GEET HAVE TO BE MARRIED TODAY AT 6pm IN PRIVATE TEMPLE OF KHURANAS".Seeing no respite today Maan called Adi, Meera & Geet in his cabin. He told Pinky not to put any call through and DO NOT DISTURB him for any reason as he is busy with his family and Geet is needed to take notes and arrange things. Pinky understood that today Maan is not in a mood to be messed with. Sasha had overheard Pinky's conversation with Maan and was about to head in direction of MSK's office when Pinky politely but firmly said,"I would not mess with MSK today if I was you, Sasha Ma'am!"
"Why can't I go to his cabin if Geet can be in his cabin?"
"Geet is there as Maan Sir's secretary to take down notes otherwise its Khurana family's personal meeting. Anyway I have forewarned you, if you still want you go and get insulted, your wish!" Pinky got busy with her job of answering phone calls and taking messages.
Sasha being Sasha refused to listen and approached MDs cabin to witness a fuming and raging MSK. "Romeo, I have told you, Geet is busy in a meeting and Pinky also informed you. She cannot go galavanting with you on a 'chaat' spree. Now will you leave right now or I get you thrown out of KC!" Seeing red blood shot eyes of MSK and shivering Romeo, Sasha also decided to leave quitely before she is noticed.
Here inside Maan's cabin, two people were sitting like frozen statues, Adi and Meera. Just then Vicky entered breaking Adi and Meera's trance. Once Maan returned, Adi collected himself and spoke, "Congratulations, Sir and to you too Geet!"
"Thank you, Adi!"
"Thank you, Adi Sir!"
"Sir it maybe difficult to get your marriage registered today itself but I'll try for tomorrow." Saying this Adi left.
"Geet, tumhara koi parivaarwala hai jo tumhara "Kanyadaan" kar sake?" Dr. Shashank asked. (Geet do you have any family member who can do your "Kanyadaan"?)
"Parivaarwala..." Geet got sad and was about to cry but pulled herself together and said, "Haan humara "Kanyadaan" humare KB Dada karenge!" ('Family member...' Geet got sad and was about to cry but pulled herself together and said 'Yes my "Kanyadaan" will be done by my brother KB'.)
"Yeh KB kaun hain?" Dr. Shashank asked. (Who is KB?)
"KB, ek reputed lawyer hain jinki har baat Geet maanti hai!" RK replied. (KB is a reputed lawyer. Geet listens to him the most!)
"Meera, tumhe Dadimaa ne Geet ko tyaar karne ki zimmewari di hai!"Dr. Shashank said. Meera nodded and agreed. (Meera, you are given the responsibility of getting Geet ready by your Dadimaa.)
"Maan, Maa chahti hain ki Geet aur tumhari shaadi ko Facetime ke dwara unhei dikhaya jaaye!" RK informed Maan. (Maan, mother wants to see your and Geet's wedding live through Facetime.)
"Geet tum apne Dada ko phone karke KC bula lo!"(Geet phone and call your Dada to KC.)
"KC nahi Dad! Warna woh Sasha phir se Geet ko "jali-kaati"sunaayegi" Maan stated. (Not KC Dad! Otherwise Sasha will again ridicule Geet!)
"Maan since when have you been scared of gossip mongers?"
"Fine! Geet call your Dada to KC as soon as possible!"
Geet called KB and asked him to come to KC, but did not tell the reason despite of his asking a number of times!
When KB walked in it was KC's lunch time hence, no one was around, not even Pinky. Geet guided him to Maan's cabin where RK and Shashank told KB about Maan and Geet's wedding in the evening.
"I would like to talk to Geet in privacy if you all don't mind!" KB requested. Maan, RK Shashank, Meera and Vicky left for lunch giving brother and sister privacy. "Geetu, kya tu sach hi iss shaadi se khush hai?" KB asked. (Geetu, are you really happy with this marriage?)
"Dada, kissi bhi ladki ke liye atyaant khushi ki baat hogi agar uska 'jeevan saathi' woh ho jisse woh pyaar karti ho!" (Dada any girl will be ecstatic if she gets married to her love!)
"Magar kya Maan bhi tujhse utna hi pyaar karta hai?"(Does Maan also loves you as much as you love him?)
"Hum pyaar naap ne wale kaun hote hain? Jab hummei apni pyaar ki seema nahi maloom toh hum unke pyaar ki seema kaise bandh sakte hain?" Geet evaded answering KB directly! But KB was not any person but a renowed advocate who could read Geet's underlying pain in her spoken words. (Who am I to measure love? When I don't know the limit of my love then how can I measure his love?)
Maan returned from lunch, while Shashank & RK left for hospital and said they will be in the temple at the stated time. KB asked Geet to go and get some lunch for KB and herself.
After Geet left, KB said in a crisp cool and lawyer like tone, "Mr. Maan Singh Khurana, I hope you understand the sanctity of marriage. I would have not agreed for this marriage, if Geet was not so much in love with you. Don't think that Geet doesn't have family, I'M HER FAMILY! Remember if you ever hurt my Gudiya, you will see the worst of me. I will drag you to court of law and put charges on you, which you will never be able to disprove."
"Are you threatening me Advocate Shekhawat?"
"Not threatening you but warning you my boy! Have a nice day Maan!"
Just then Geet returned saying, "Dada chaliye khana lag gaya hai!" Geet guided KB to her cabin where brother and sister duo had lunch together.
