LOCATION : SECLUDED PART OF KINGDOM OF VALLABHGARH
"Kya samachaar laayen hain?" (Any news?)
"Rajmata, humne apne sab aadmiyon ko poore bharat aur videsh mei bheja hai, magar koi bhi dono rajkumariyon ke baare mei nahi jaanta!" (Queen Mother, I have sent my men all over India and and abroad, but no one knows anything about the two missing princesses.)
"Aap apne aapko guptchar (spy) kahte hain aur itne saalon mei do ladkiyon ko nahi dhoondh paaye! Sharam aani chahiye aapko!" (You call yourself a spy and in so many years could not find two girls. Shame on you!)
"Rajmata hum..."
"Shaant rahiye! Abb hum Kulbhshan se vaartalaap karke Delhi ke prasidh jasoos ko yeh karye denge!" Saying this furious Rajmata left. (Keep quite! I will now talk to Kulbhshan and ask him to employ a prestigious detective agency from Delhi.)
LOCATION : CARDIAC ICU, KHURANA HOSPITALS
Maan and Geet entered Cardiac ICU to meet Dadimaa in presence of Dr. Shashank Gupta and RK. Geet was dressed in a beautiful red saree with a golden border and matching accessories given by Maan. When Geet got dressed in Outhouse of KM and came out of the room, Maan was stunned to see her beauty and was speechless!
The expensive saree not only accentuated her beauty and milky white skin, but made her look extremely regal as well. The way she had draped the saree and was carrying the palla on her shoulder made her look like a royalty.Maan could not stop himself from asking,"Geet tumhe saree pehna kisne sekhaaya?" (Geet who taught you to drape a saree?)
"Humari Maa ne. Kyun humne galat pehni hai kya?" (My mother ! Why, have I draped it wrong?)
Bringing his desires under control which had arisen seeing Geet's waist's milky white velvety skin through translucent saree, he said aggressively, "Nahi! Abb chalo der ho rahi hai!" (No! Lets leave, its getting late!)
Maan held Geet's hand and took her close to Savitri Deviji's bed in ICU. "Dadimaa, abb aap jald se jald theek ho jaaye. Aap apni badi bahu se milne ki zidd kar rahi theen, toh yeh rahi aap ki bahu!" (Dadimaa you get well soon. You wanted to meet your elder grand daughter-in-law, so here she is!)
There was complete silence from three elders present in the room. Finally, Dadimaa spoke, "Yahaan aao beta hum aapka chehra dekhna chahte hain!" (Come near my dear, I want to see your face.)
Maan put his hand on small of Geet's back and nudged her foward towards Dadimaa's bed. "GEET! Yeh kya mazak hai, Maan? Aap hummei apni secretary se kyun mila rahen hain?" (GEET! What is this joke,Maan? Why are you introducing me to your secretary?)
"Secretary nahi, 'Geet meri mangetar hai'! (Courtsey, GHSP) Hum bahut jald shaadi karnewale hain, bass apki tabiyat theek ho jaaye!" (Not secretary, Geet is my fiancee! We are very soon going to be married, we are just waiting for you to get well.)
"Aap toh Geet ko sirf do mahine se jaante hain aur shaadi karna chahte hain? Yeh kahin aap humari sehat ki wajeh se drama toh nahi kar rahe haina?" (You only know Geet for two months and want to get married to her? Are you doing this marriage drama due to my ill health?)
"Nahi Dadimaa! Geet aur mai ek dusare se pyaar karte hain. Kyun mai theek keh raha hoon na Geet?" (No Dadimaa, Geet and I love each other. I am saying correct, Geet?)
"Haan Dadimaa! Hum ek dusare se pyaar karte hain!" Blushing Geet said. (Yes Dadimaa! We love each other!)
Seeing Geet blush, Dadimaa was partially satisfied, making Maan and Geet relax seeing their drama making Dadimaa happy & relaxed. RK and Dr.Shanshank came near with big smiles on their face. Maan was going to touch Dadimaa's feet when Geet stopped him saying "Dadimaa jab theek ho jaayengi aur kursi par beithi hongi tab hum unka aashirwaad lenge. Abhi Baba aur Doctor Uncle ka aashirwaad lete hain?" (When Dadimaa is hale & hearty and sitting on a chair, we will take her blessings. Till then lets take Baba and Doctor Uncle's blessings!)
"Magar kyun?" (But why?)
"Bistar par lete hue insaan ke paair nahi chute. Kyunki kewal insaan ki mrityu ke samay hi lete hue insaan ke paair chute hain!" RK said in hushed tone so Savitri Devi could not hear it! Maan understood and touched RK and Dr.Shanshank's feet. (Because you never touch feet of a person lying on bed Once the person is dead only then you touch his feet while lying.) RK and Dr.Shanshank gave Maan and Geet their heartfelt blessings.
"Maa, abb toh aap ne apni bahu ka chehra dekh liya hai toh abb aap meri aur nurses ki baatein sunkar dawa lengi aur aaram kaerengi. Theek hai?" Dr.Shanshank cajoled Dadimaa. She nodded and went to sleep. (Maa, now you have seen your grand daughter-in-law's face, you will listen to my and nurses advice and have your medicines and rest! Alright?)
RK, Maan, Geet and Dr.Shanshank came out of ICU and went to the "Platinum Suite". Once there was complete privacy, Maan spoke,"Dad and Uncle, Geet & I have a request. Can you please not tell about our marriage to outsiders and the media? Besides Dadimaa, Dad and Doctor uncle, we would only inform Vicky, Meera and Adi about our wedding."
"Why beta? You both do intend on getting married?" Dr. Shanshank asked.
"The reason is because Geet is still studying on Khurana scholarship and I don't want anyone raising finger on her. Secondly, Chopras are very impressed with Geet's designs and want her to be in their project team. (Surprising Geet) If news of our marriage comes out, I don't want Geet to be accused of favouritism. Its only a matter of a year after which, I'll announce our marriage with full pomp and show to the world."
Maan and Geet left from the hospital. Maan was driving Geet to Pinky's home. During the drive to Pinky's home, both Maan and Geet were lost in their thoughts. Pinky was busy with Adi tonight so no one was there to see Geet all decked up. One thing was hammering Geet and that was her getting Khurana Scholarship. After Geet reached home, she freshened up and downloaded the scholarship withdrawal form from her University's website. Next day she went to her University and withdrew her name from Khurana Scholarship as now her salary was enough to pay for her University fees.
