there is a ritual in some caste in south..

here marriages are done on day timings.not like north at evenings..

on marriage day the bride would have taken bath already.n will be waiting for pandit..before the sun rises pandit comes n do a hawan..

there will be a holy pot filled with water covered with coconut n mango leaves before the bride ..she will do the rituals as directed by pandit...

after that she has to take bath with that holy water..

it means the bride is purified with the holy water now n got blessings from god .she will be no longer a teen after today...she is now ready to get into married life n going to lead a family..after this only marriage. rituals get started..

bride will get ready for her marriage..like doing bridal make ups n all..

if u think its wrong its wrong..

if u think it as blessing of god it is..

every rituals has some meanings..its only the way we take it..
