The Myth

The test of a true myth is that each time u return to it , new insights and interpretations arise.

A saying Or belief Or fact Or superstition Or Myth ... these words play an important part in ppl's life ,, many blindly believe or live their lives on some belief nd myths ,, from d time of d bith of a child to till his/her end some belief never left them ,, those ppl trust a priest who himself a human being nd it's also said that human is a bundle of mistakes ,, then how cn a priest be trusted blindly ? Does a priest's words r more important than an innocent child ? If yes then where is humanity , love , care nd family bonding ? Where r relations nd their warmth ? Where is Truth nd Reality ?

These few days happiness turned an mirage for Maan ,, it was not only he , but Geet too was hurt ,, her angry eyes wr enough to say that ,, again he went on square ,, he didn't has guts to talk Geet about Sam ,, it was really humiliating for both ,, Geet deffo didn't like to talk over this nd how he defend him ,, now he had to face her again in college , with all truth ,, in last sem things wr diff , but this time both knew d reality of each other , nd with this reality it was really insulting for him to face Geet there .

There Geet was also lost in her thought ,, she was angry nd feeling that still he nd his family wr playing smart ,, she didn't know what Maan said to his family ,, he said to her that he confessed his sin nd feeling guilty for his misdeed ,, but what about his relation with his GF ,, d truth was infront of Geet that he was attached to her then what was d use of accepting his misdeeds , feeling guilty nd saying sorry ,, did he want that she accept this reality nd tried to talk for some settlement .

That is why his family wanted to give him KC's shares ,, he was still lying that he didn't recognized her , then how he recognized after knowing that she was preg , when whole college knew about her ,, why he informed his family now, not before ? His family didn't defend him ,, not a word about him nd his relation with Sam ,, He nd his family again trying to play with her ,, elders for their respect nd he for his benefit ,, There was really something , let's see .

Next day Geet got up with a determination ,, she was excited to for her next sem ,, got ready nd left for college ,, DJ gave so many instructions nd Kabir was going to drop her ,, he told her to use cab for returning home not in bus ,, DJ forced Kabir to arrange a permanent pick nd drop for her nd he accepted ,, for this he need a trusted cabby ,, in coming days it was really going tough for Geet nd she need a trusted driver nd car for her all d time ,, he remembered how Maan arranged a buggi at farm for any emergency .

Kabir dropped Geet at college wishing her good luck nd instructions for taking care .

Geet entered with a smile nd after some distance few of her classmate saw her nd rushed towards her excited ,, asked about her health nd baby , congratulated her for her success ,, one held her lappy bag forcefully nd other held her hand for safety while she was climbing few stairs ,, all took her good care ,, they wr in front of their class where Adi & pinky joined her with few more friends ,, all wr excited nd asking about her nd her baby's health .

After few mn Maan too reached there ,, he nd sam didn't do well so he was feeling low to face all ,, deffo some talk about their results ,, he wished Adi , pinky nd few more ,, Geet saw him , gave him a glare nd then excused her ,, she went to her room ,, it hurt Maan deeply ,, she again started avoiding him ,, Geet seated in class nd sipped some water to composed herself ,, she had to behave like , she was doing from day one ,, she got that chance now , which she didn't get when she join this college ... humiliating Maan ,, that time he pretended that he didn't know her , but what'll he do now ? How he'll face her holding her GF's hand ? How he'll talk about him nd his GF in front of her ? Nd most imp how he'll disclose that he was already married nd this Geet is his wife nd he was that man who left her for his GF ?

Geet smirked inwardly nd said : ab ayega asli mja Mr Maan Singh Khurana ,, now i'll get, for what I came here nd bore d pain of hell .

Outside in d corridor Adi & pinky asked gen Qs to talk , they knew he nd Sam didn't do good , so they didn't raised d topic in grp , thinking that it cd ashamed Maan ,, they too noticed that Sam was not with him , but didn't ask thinking to talk him when he was alone ,, their classes started , for pinky nd Adi it was their last sem nd they had a busy schedule with projects nd classes ,, none knew about d Sam ,, only her Hod , few proffs nd dean knew ,, she mailed her discontinue request on med term ,, it was in Maan's class where his prof disclosed that a student of their batch .. Sameera dropped out bcoz of her illness ..she was diagnose C***** nd went under treatment ,, all d student felt bad for her ,, they looked at Maan , bcoz all knew that she was his GF nd they wr live -in partner ,,Maan was sitting with sad face .

Their classes started ,, it was d 1^st day ,, few profs wr same nd few changed ,, all d students got busy ,, at break time d Hod nd other profs asked Maan to meet them ,, they wanted to discuss d reason why he didn't do well in 1^st sem ? he didn't get time to go in caf ,, Geet was with her friends nd they wr asking treat from her ,, she looked around nd didn't see Maan there ,, shrugged off her thoughts nd then she got busy with her friends ,, she gave a nice treat to all , then left for her class .

At afternoon after their classes she came out with Adi nd Pinky , pick a cab nd came back home as DJ said ,, she didn't see Maan after mrng , but she realized that he was alone in d mrng ,, Sam was not with him ,, Geet knew that Sam 's result was very bad in 1^st sem nd she got red mark at her name ,, so Geet thought that may be bcoz of shame nd insult Sam was avoiding to meet students profs deffo called her to reply d reason for this bad performance .

Maan met with profs nd Hod , , accepted his mistake not giving proper attention in his study ,, ( he cdn't say that he was taking care of his sick GF nd spend much time in other works ) Maan said sorry for his bad performance ,, he was feeling very low,, in his whole academic life he didn't face this situation ,, he was very sharp in studies ,, he promised to do well in coming sems .

Maan didn't get time to visit caf nd went to attend next classes ,, this time he cdn't compromise with his study ,, Maan didn't get chance to see Geet again,, after classes he left for his office ,, now he had to go there for almost 4 hrs (half day),, Maan's days became full pack with study nd work ,, there in office he got d parcel from his dad , opened nd find shares pps for Geet which he had to hand over her , a faint smile crept on his face getting a reason to meet her today ,, he decided to visit her home .

At eve when Maan was returning from office went to Geet's home boosting him to talk to her ,, he pressed d bell nd DJ saw him nd opened d door with a smile .

Maan: GE DJ , ( he touched her feet nd Farida blessed him ) .

DJ : GE Maan beta , u here this time , anything urgent ?

Maan : yes DJ , Dad sent pprs for Geet , so come to handover her nd need her sign on few pprs to send them back to Dad .

DJ: OK , come in ,, have seat , what wd u like to take ?

Maan: nothing DJ , only water ( he really wanted , his throat was dry ).

DJ: OK , from where u r coming ?

Maan: from my office DJ ,, now i've go in city office for work after my classes .

DJ gave him water nd he started sipping ,, looking all around ,, DJ got nd smiled .

DJ: good ,, but it 'll be hectic ,, ( Maan passed a smile ) Geet too get tired today ,, after mnth she was bounded like this ,, sleep after coming back from college nd now busy in her study .

Maan: yeah , she cn be ,, is she fine ?

DJ: yes , she is fine , but incoming days it'll be going tough for her too , long hrs sitting cn make her tired .

Maan realized that DJ was saying right ,, he felt bad that he was around her nd didn't ask her , how was she ? she was his wife nd he was not able to reach her .

DJ: do u want coffee Maan , though it's dinner time , did u have ur dinner ?

Maan: no DJ, I m coming from office nd come straight here ,, will have my dinner after going home?

DJ: u cooked urself ?

Maan: yeah DJ .

DJ: Oh,, wait I m calling Kabir nd Geet .

She went in nd informed Kabir nd Geet about Maan nd d reason ,, Geet fumed at his act ,.. don't know why he was doing all this ?

DJ came back nd started placing dinner on table ,, Kabir nd Geet came out ,, Maan wished Kbr nd touched his feet( Kbr blessed him ) ,, Maan wished Hi to Geet , but she didn't reply ,, went to dining area nd starting helping DJ .

Geet: u r doing alone DJ , why didn't u call me ?

DJ: u wr very tired today beta , so didn't like to trouble u ,, its OK ,, all come for dinner ,, Maan come beta join us , where'll u make for u after going from here , it's getting late .

Kabir: from where u r coming Maan ?

Maan: from office uncle ,, have to go after classes .

Kabir: OK ,, it's good to work , but don't ignore ur study , that is must ,, come have dinner nd there we'll talk .

All settled in their seats ,, Maan felt delighted ,, again a family dinner , but how to talk Geet ?

Kabir : so how was ur day in college after holidays nd how u r here this time ?

Maan: college was good ,, wo, i came to handover some pprs to Geet ,, dad send from India .

Kabir : hummm , OK .

Kabir , Farida nd Maan looked at Geet ,, who was eating quietly with cold expressions ,, didn't even look at Maan ,, it was hurting Maan ,, they finished d dinner with lil gen talk , but Geet was quiet .

After dinner Geet helped DJ in securing table nd cleaning ,, Kabir nd Maan came in living hall where Kabir got a call from a cabby ,, Kabir was talking to him regarding dropping nd picking his daughter ,, In day time as DJ insisted nd Kabir too felt , he contact to a regtd texi owner near his hsptl for a cab ,, it was a time bounded work so it was difficult to get a cab at once ,, Kabir left his number there to contact if any driver accepted that work ,,this phone was related to that .

Maan was listening all that talk ,, he got that it was for Geet bcoz at mrng uncle dropped her , but after classes she came by bus , which was not good for her now,, he felt a pang in his heart thinking that geet nd d baby belong to him , but he was not able to do anything for them .

After finishing their work DJ nd Geet joined them ,, Maan took out d ppr from his bag nd came to hand over Geet.

Maan: Geet , dad sent ur shares pprs for u , nd asked few signs on some pprs for KC office record ,, check these .

Geet lil annoyed : why u all r doing this favour ,, I don't like to take these ,, If u nd ur family want anything in return then tell me clearly ,, pllzz keep these things away from me ,, I don't want anything .

Maan hurt ,, he cdn't even force her ,, elders cd do that , but not he ,, he looked at DJ nd Kabir helplessly.

DJ: Geet u agreed that time, so they sent u , take these for their respect .

Geet: what about my respect DJ ? my conscious is not allowing me .

Maan: Geet plzz ,, Dad-mom nd DM feel good , it's ur right .

Geet gave him a burning glare : u don't talk about rights ,, u r not suppose to talk over this matter mr MK , never .

Maan with guilt : I know , but these r from dad , u agreed to take , I have to reply him back ,, he'll get angry at me , plz accept these , uncle plz tell her na .

Kabir : Geet, when u agreed once ,then keep these beta , nd replied them as u want ,, if u don't like then don't take them for u ,, for time being keep these shares nd when u get chance to go india then u cn return them back ,, there is no use of dragging this thing ,, it'll only tenses u nd all ,, keep now nd then decide later what u'll do with these ,, u cn transfer these to ur baby too,, simple .

Geet thought for some time nd then agreed ,, took those pprs nd signed d pprs after reading where Maan said .

He thanked her , DJ nd Kabir , then came back to his home with lil satisfaction that at least Geet accepted his part of shares,, he changed nd got busy in his study .
