Part 5
Geet was the first one to woke up in the morning. She took a sari out and went to get fresh. Sound in bathroom woke Maan. Geet came out at same time drying her hair. She was wearing a red sari with mangalsutra the only ornament. Maan started drooling over geet. she looked serene. Geet felt Maan's gaze and felt uncomfortable. Aapko kuch chahiye? asked geet lowering her eyes. Maan didnt hear. Suniye...Maan came out of his niharofying session. He went to bathroom. Maan came back after sometime to see geet fully ready with all jewelry and all other stuffs.
Geet was tieing dori of blouse when Maan came. he thought to help her and stood at her back. But before he could even raise his hand geet had already tied her dori and turned only to bump into Maan. She went a step back keeping some distance between them. Both were embarrassed.At same time Maan's phone rang. Maan turned from geet. Now his back was facing her.
Yes Adi whats the matter?

No need just demolish that orphanage from there. hotel will be built there only and it will block hotels view.

Maan cut the call. he went to Ayesha's room. Maan crossed geet and went but didn't notice tears in geet's eyes.
Geet's POV
Yesterday when he spoke on the phone i thought there will be some major problem and man did something very grave mistake so only Maan was so hyper. But today he ordered to demolish an orphanage only for building a hotel. how can someone be like this?
the way he talked to me he seemed very kind hearted then now this...Babaji plz help me out. I am very confused. Who is my actual husband. The person who takes care of his family, who respects his dadi and sister or whom i saw just a minute back.
After sometime geet went downstairs to see dadi. Geet pulled her veil down as dadi asked her to do. Dadi saw her and smiled. She removed her veil. Muhdhikayi ke waqt pehenlena waise bhi yahan hum sabne aapke chehra dekha toh hai hi. toh ghunghat kyun?
Geet just gave a smile. Dadi San... Aap hume Dadi hi pukariye. geet nodded''Dadi humein kya karna hai''
Aapko breakfast mein humare liye Alu ke Parathe, Maan ke liye Pasta Ayesha keliye kuch chinese banana aur lunch keliye Alu gobi ,mutter panneer , Dal Rice , Roti Dadi looked geet from corner of her eyes. She could see geet was nervous Yeh sab aapko banate hue dekhna hai. Apko bus hukum dena hai ki aaj kya banega. Dusre lafzon bus dekiye ki saare log kaam kar rahe hain ya nahi.
geet left a sigh. Aap is ghar ki bahu nahi balki beti bankar rahengi. Aapka kam sirf Maan ka kush rakna, unka saath dena hai. Ek patni ka pura farz dil se nibhana beta. Aap yeh karengi na?
Geet nodded a yes. Dadi hugged her. Dadi showed geet mansion and then came to kitchen for rasoyi pujan. Dadi told about everyone's likes and dislikes. Geet made a sweet dish with separate kheer for Maan as he didnt take much sweet.
Maan and Ayesha sat in dinning table when geet served the food and last the kheer. Maan ko sweet nahi pasand. Geet tumhe pata nahi to kisise puchlete waise bhi yahan kuch logon ko dusron ke life mein interfere karne ke alawa koi timepass hai hi nahi. unhi se puch leti?Ayesha said looking at dadi.
Ayesha tum toh 8:30 tak soti ho. aur geet ne kheer 8 baje hi bana diya tha phir aapse kaise puchti? Maa yeh special kheer aap hi ke liye banaya hai, taste toh kariye.
Before next mahabharat starts Maan took one spoon. It was really tasty just like Savita used to make. he looked at geet who stood nervously waiting for everyone's remark especially Maan's.
Nice Maan said. he wanted to speak more but didn't know why nothing came to his mind.
Ayesha Geet its good. lagta hai Mrs Handa tumhi se sara khana banvati thi. actually i have heard tumhare nana baverji(chef) the. unhi se tumne sikha hoga. hai na?
It was like a taunt for geet. She didnt say anything. Maan too felt bad for geet but decided not interfere between ladies. Seekha jaha se bhi ho...Ayesha tumhe geet se seekhna chahiye damadji ka ek sapna toh pura hoga.
Before 3rd world war starts Maan said Di aaj Mr chopra ke saath meeting hai. Chalte hain
Maan and Ayesha left. Geet bete, humari ek baat zaroor yaad rakhna jahan bhi jiyo jo bhi karo kisi ki ke samne jhukkar ya kisike thane sunne ki zaroorat nahi. Agar apne liye naa sahi to Maan ke liye. Apka naam juda hai Maan ke saath. Aur yeh raha aapka nek. Dadi gave geet two bangles which looked very expensive and traditional.
Dadi and geet talked with each other. Dadi told geet about khurana history. About Maan's likes and dislikes. Though not directly but he asked to stay away from Ayesha. They had lunch as Dadi told that Maan never comes back befor 10pm. She even spoke with nakul preparing for lunch and dinner. She got to know that how everyone is very scared about Maan. Geet's down to earth nature really impressed all the workers. She was totally different from Ayesha the only lady who came to the mansion.
At night
Maan came to KM after dropping Ayesha at Shergil house. Geet was in the room. Maan came in. Geet was very engrossed in sketching. She didn't notice Maan. Maan came from back and looked what she was drawing. Maan almost kept his face above her shoulder when geet felt like someone stood very close to her. She tilted her head only to make Maan's lips brush on her shoulders.
Both moved away and were totaly embarrassed. They were silent for sometime. Mein khana lagati hoon. Geet said and went to kitchen. Maan left a sigh. he changed his dress and went down.
Geet served for Maan. Tumne Khaya? Geet nodded a No Baito. Maan started serving Geet was going to stop ''I beleive in equality'' Maan declared. Thats when he noticed his mother's bangles in her hand. Geet looked at Maan to find him staring at her hand'' Dadi ne diye nek mein. Aaj kheer banaya toh...''
hmm Maan started eating again.
Maan was working in his laptop on the bed when geet came and sat on bed besides him. Suniye.. Kahiye woh orphanage tudwana zaroori hai? Mujhe business mein kisi ka interference pasand nahi samji. Maan was really very angry. he never liked anyone interfering in business matters. Even Ayesha was allowed only till some extent. Here his so called one day old wife was interfering that too wronging him. He just couldn't accept it. Maan was going to say much more when he saw geet's face. She was about to cry. geet looked like an kid who was denied chocolates and toys.
Maan closed his eyes and asked why do you think so? Orphanage wale kahan jayenge? Thats none of my business Agar aap unke liye koi beech ka rasta nikale...I mean aap ki bhi nahi unki bhi nahi... geet looked at Maan who looked confused I meant to say ki aap hotel ka ek portion unke liye nayi building bana sakte hain. Isse company ka goodwill bana rahega. Aapko koi ruthless ..geet stopped in the middle and closed her mouth with her hand. Maan's anger which had already reached the top floor was now unimaginable. geet lowered his eyes and said Plz zaroor sochiyega and slept with pulling the blanket over her head.
Maan got up and went to do tai-chi session. he was really angry. if it was some other guy he would have surely hit them but this was a girl and moreover his wife. he controlled his anger. Maan practiced for time which looked like ages and then when his anger melted he thought in other way of how it can really help company's goodwill. He can surely takeout a space for these people.
