Chapter 21

Distance does make the heart grow fonder. The absence of Maan is making Geet miss him and realises that she does care care for him and somewhere loves him too. He has also passed the litmus test. So no other arguments.

Here Maan is trying his best to give her the space she needs. Even putting the bulldog in him on leash.

All the planning of daadi has borne fruit. Both realise the needs of the other.

Finally the light bulb moment for Geet!

Adi explains Maans past and the most important piece of news is he fell in love with someone and never allowed anyone else close to him since he was 17. Aww now thats what you call true loves candle burning over the years waiting for his other half.

she realises why she has come up with all her funny reasons and excuses for her reaction to him.

Geet goes to the dargah unable to wait any longer for a glimpse of him. I loved the song and the dargah scene in GHSP and you have recreated it perfectly blending it in with the other lovely scene where her dupatta gets stuck to his button. The slightly altered dialogue of 'Ek week main tumhare paas nahi tha toh itni shikaayat Geet? Aur tum jo mujhe chod ke akela rehna chahti thi, uska kya? was just 🤗
