" Big Daddi...you know today is Mommi's final exam..." Arhaan (with love they call him Aran) giggled reminding Dai Maa as now their mom gonna have lots of free time for them...Before coming to room Mannat was in Dai Maa's cradle now while going out she took Aran in her arms...Which Maanya didn't like much ...She made faces and climbed downstairs to kitchen..

" Maanya bache rukho ...wait for Big Daddi..." Dai Maa back called her but the girl listened nothing..

"Big Daddi...usko rehne dejiye...wo to aise he hai..sadduu raaam...she is jealous coz you picked me up..." Encircling arms around Dai Maa's neck Aran winked at her...

" Aaankh maar rahe ho...ha ha ..." She petted at his back lovingly... "Apni Maa jaise ho bilkul..."😆

" If I m like Mommi what about Maanya?Big Daddi.She is not like Mommi. .." confused Aran when asked...Her (Dai Maa) jaw dropped thinking about the horrible phase they had gone through..."Bollo na Big Daddi..." He petted at her cheek with his tiny hand ...when she was in other world...

" Huh..." she came back to present " wo ...wo...apne Dady k jaise..." she replied...

" Dai-daa k jaise...no big daddi...you judged wrong.she is not like Dai-daa...he is so nice and calm...but Maanya kitnaaye attitude main hoti hai na.." Scratching his head he tried to find out similarities between his father and sister...

But now Dai Maa realized what she had told him...How could she tell similarities in between his sister and so-called father. ?..So she had to divert conversation in other direction " Wo Aran...your Dai-daa he was such in childhood...but as he grew up he became good boy ...like he is now..."

" Oh this is possible...but our Dai-daa he is best...We love him so much..." he laughed aloud and jumped down from her lap...Dai Maa took a deep breath...It was just Aran to tackle with but when it came to Maanya she was impossible...

Dai Maa asked kids to sit on dinning table ...Maanya still was making faces but she couldn't miss the chance to have home-made ice cream by their Big Daddi which was their favorite...

After three hours

Outside Geet's Examination Centre

Vicky was already there waiting for Geet as the bell rang he found a smiling face coming out of Examination Hall with confidnece...She was non other than Geet and from her body gesture it was clear she did well as always...

" Oh it means Miss Handa gonna break all records this time again ...please leave some for others too " He teased...

"Shut up Vicky...before you ask ...main bataa du...my exam really went well...now I am much hungry ... tumhare bachche mera saar khaa le. (eat my brain)..usse pehle mujhe kuch khilaa do plz."rubbing her hand on stomach she almost begged...and dragged him to the parking area...

They reached near by cafeteria and ordered Coffee and Sandwiches...

"So Geet your diploma in business management Exams over now...From when you gonna join ? " sipping coffee Vicky asked...

"Vicky let the results come first...Ya Param is your friend and he gave me job in his firm...But I am his employee...let my grades come first...Due to you he appointed me when I was just doing graduation...Even usne mujhe internship per rakha ...when I was doing Masters in Architecture...Now I want to be on the post not due ur friendship but the grades I ll aquire..."putting sugar in cup she replied...

" You deserve Geet..its not due to me...but its your hard work...fighting against all odds...you did all this...and I m more than 100% sure you gonna rock this time again ." In high spirits Vicky showed full faith in her...

" no not without you and Dai Maa...kya tha mere pass...a humiliated...less educated village girl...who was burden on her family...even whose husband not looked at her once...2 bachche thay aur tumhara saath tha...jo main yahan takk aa saaki hu..."Tears rolled down to her cheeks...Vicky wipped with his hand...

"No..no tears...I hate tears..Geet..I hate tears..."when he acted saying this.." Geet burst in laughter...

" Yeh this is my Geet...you can't take such gloomy face in front of kids...they are too smart...ek dum pakad legay...that there was something odd...Also aaj ki breaking news tum takk nahi pahunchi ...wo bhi sun lo..." He then narrated whole incident what happened at school...Geet's mouth left open in surprise...

" Yeh Maanya...kya karu iska mai...I think it's good to keep her in hostel just for once...fir dekhna akal aa jaaegi..." Geet nodded her head thinking about her bully daughter...

" Really ...bollo Geet ...if you can keep her in hostle...funny " he teased " exam denne aati ho...ja unko school bhej-ti ho just for few hours...tumhari haalat khraab ho jaati hai..Is it possible for you to stay away from her..."Getting up from chair he again tried to read her emotions...

" You are rite Vicky I can't ..what i have except them...both..." She replied with teary eyes followed Vicky to outside...

Before opening door for Geet he stopped her.."Geet you are thinking na what you have ? ...But you are wrong...what you had ...that was a question in past..It's What you have now in this moment and you have answer for it...A home...A mother...A friend...two super intelligent sweet kids...A life of dignity...So cheer up and let's go..." Then he opened door for Geet and moved toward their sweet home...

Dev and NainTaraa live in nearby flat but Dev regularly visit Daddi Maa...He was the only grand kid left to care her..Even not with her..She was suffering from severe heart and lung problem...Still in hope that one day Maan could return to her...

" Humne sunna hai Dev...Maan wapis aa gaye hai...US say after two years..." she tried to reconfirm the news she got from her staff.

" Ji Daddi Maa...he is back after two years...but from us he is away from last 6 years..Mujhe se bhi kabhi directly baat nahi ki..Even if the matter is regarding business..." He said with heavy heart...

"Huh...aap theek kehte ho beta...yeh judai 6 saal ki hai...Unki shaddi karke theek kiya ya galat hum aaj takk nahi samjh sakke...Aur hamari bahu...kahan hai wo uska kush patta nahi...Hamare ghar ka chiraag tha unke paas..." She was still in guilt and it was not letting her live peacefully..

" Apko yaad hai Geet...bhai unko to uska naam bhi yaad nahi hoga...Acha he hua bhai ko humne nahi bataya...that Geet was pregnant when she eloped from here...Kissi ko nahi patta challa ...warna society mai hum muh dikhaane k kaabil na rehte...Uski family ko bhi kaabu(control) kar liya kissi tarah.. finacially help karke Geet ki sisters ki shaadi mai...Uske bhai ne koi kasar nahi chodi thi ho-halla (to give hipe) karne mai..." Memories of past still haunted Dev and he had sweat on face...

" Jo hona tha wo ho gaya..Still I hope k Geet kahi mil jaaye...jaise bhi hai bahu hai hamari..Maan ne rishte tood liye..kya hua fir. !!!...unka hissa Geet k andar (in her womb) tha...His own flesh and blood...May be wo bacha he jodd de tutte rishte ( broken tiess) "Crying bitterly she dropped herself on couch behind her..Dev he was trying to pacify her...but it was out of her control to keep hold on emotions...
