The contrast here is well portayed. While others make her smirk on their theories . He says one word and it manages to bring about an emotion which she thinks she isnt capable of anymore..."the unfamiliar prickling of her eyes".
And he misses her.
He is already dead that is his heart is no more and she is the reason.

But the intresting fact is it is not enough to just miss her. Does she mean that missing her doesnt add up to the pain that she went through.

I have a few theories.

1. She photographs. Carries a camera with her. A specific photo is always by her side.
So she can be using hammer and chisel to frame the photographs she clicks. As in with time she has become a photographer that too a good one. Thats the reason of her being in a hardware shop.

...she managed it to make somewhat in an artful twirl of movement..

Whatever she is she has an artistic mind.
She needs chisel.
The more i think i guess it has to do with the art that she loved once and now is her passion. The art which she turned into her passion in the past years.

Related to carving and sculpture.

Or last theory i can come up with now is..
She is building a new home for herself.
Or may be rebuilding the one that was lost in the fire.

And now my wierdest theory .

I doubt if there are two men.

" I m already dead"

Remember once when they had met at the inn she had been affected by his presence. Her self seems attuned to his body. Does so much comes from just being friends .

You know what i am thinking.

Either i am reading too much into the lines. Or i am just reading and grasping nothing.

Time will reveal.

But i am enjoying every bit of it.

To be frank I just don't understood the head and tail of it. I got just the name of hero & heoine. Waiting for further new.

I remember reading Agatha Christie novels. I used to finish them within a day. I m pretty bad at waiting that too when its a mystery plot.
Usually i dont disturb writers for i know everyone has a busy life.
But mystery case mein chalta hai...

My plan was to update soon and you know, by this week or next, the story would have been over. But actually, I'm now trying to figure out how to add another chapter to the vague plan I had because I feel you guys deserve a more resolved ending to the one I had in mind. So I will try my hardest and I definitely want another one up this week but bear with me while I figure out how :) And I immensely enjoyed reading your theories by the way.
