Beautiful... I've simply no other words to describe this story... Parijaat- One single word that was the root of the whole misunderstanding. Why doesn't Maan confess his feelings? But then Geet is not giving him a chance... I wish they have a good conversation and clear everything.

i love parijats...we had one parijatak tree near my house gate when I was small..

due to some reasons..it died and i cried so much at that time...

reading this lead me to that memory...

indeed this os is as beautiful as parijat

beautifully written..completely enchanting !
the beautiful poem, the Parijaat story used perfectly !!
loved the way Maan calls Geet his own Parijaat..the sweet fragrance to fill his life..
and the way he is possessive about her and the name too..
but then name became the cause of the misunderstanding..
she once promised she will not hide anything and hurt herself, but continued doing the same..he chose to play around now..waiting for how it will be disclosed to her..

Har Shingar

Har shingar is also called Coral Jasmine, Tree of Sorrow, Queen of the night and Night-flowering Jasmine. It is called Har shingar, Shefali, Paarijat in Hindi, Shefali and Shiuli in Bengali, Singarei in Manipuri , Hkhewali in Assamese , Pagadamalle in Telugu , Pavizhamalli or pavala malli in Tamil, Goli in Kannada , Paarijatam in Malayalam. In Sanskrit it is called Parijata, Prajakta, Vijaya, Subaha, Nalakumkumaka, , Suklangi, Chakrabrinta, Kharapatraka, Rajanihasa, Nisahasa, Praharshini, Pravalanalika, Vathari, Bhoothakeshi, Seetamanjari, Ragapushpi Nishipushpika. In Oriya we call it Ganga shiuli, Shingda hara, Shefali or Jhara Shefali.

Its botanical name is Nyctanthes arbortristis and it belongs to the Oleaceae i.e. Jasmine family. Nyctanthes arbortristis literally means, night-blooming sad tree. The tree is also called the "tree of sorrow", because the flowers drop from their branches in the morning.

It's generally native to southern Asia and it is a common flower in countries of India, Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh and Thailand.

Paarijat..a unique flower..similar to Geet char.. in the story...

one have wait in patience for paarijat to blossom...its as of Maan ..who was waiting for geet to blossom their love..

the Tagore song was the intense of love.. maan's feeling..which geet couldn't recognize ..

In a note ..Geet is molded..give only happiness and understanding others..keep in thoughts to herself..however painful it is..that happened in ved 's prank...

it like has to be Maan to open her up ...similar to moon to come ..make paarijat to blossom ..

their beautiful relation blossomed only witnessed by paarijat itself...

She did fall in love ..as inexpressive person though opens up to maan..But Love is different ...

which bring scariness of losing our loved one.. and where normal small incidents ..stay back in back of mind..

When she was emotionally very down..came to maan as usual..what found ..the life changing..journal entry ..as anger & sadness is where brain stops thinking..seen all negatively ..that happen..with one word PAARIJAT.. next happened is the effect of it..but unfortunately its continuing ..

Felt maan could have explained her..than getting anger and leaving her...

also thought geet would have confronted maan ..may be ..if he did not call out paarijat...

coming the face off..with all passionate and intense..conveyed thru kiss without letting word to take charge..even geet ...only to give away...And answering maan's question with surprise ...not only she miss him .. loves him to with same intense of his..

after act ..confrontation was maan with attitude how stupid my geet is..remembering his famous dialogue "ye larki mujhe pagal kar degi "and geet all scared ..she had messed..kissing him...now hearing her sister with her boyfriend...its so much confusing geet..Oh my dear God..give her peace...

The last nail in coffin...maan asking her be his fiancee...
