Geet was unusually silent from the moment she got Armaan's diary. Rano thought to confront her and Geet shared everything about her life with her mother. So now Rano knows about her daughter's life, her friends and family, and the two men she loves the most in this world. She even shared about Maan hiding being Armaan's brother and Rano too said the same thing, Maan deserves to tell his side of story.
It was definitely a very sad moment. Geet might have finally accepted and let go of Armaan but still the thought that the person is no more leaves a void. My heart went for her. After years she had gotten some hapiness, something she could called her own and he too was snatched from her by her fate leaving her dead and empty yet again.
You know for a strange moment I strongly wished Maan was there with her when she was reading Armaan's diary giving her support and sharing her pain cos he is as close to Armaan as her. But then I immediately felt that, its her moment, alone. Its her and Armaan's moment and no third person should be there. I know Im crazy, always having two thoughts in my mind and you must be thinking what a confused reader you have got. 😆
Anyways, I loved each and every entry of Armaan's diary. I knew all about his story, background, past, his friendship with Yash, his love and respect for Maan, and his undying and unconditional love for Geet; everything. But still after reading this update it made me connect with Armaan so much more. Cos it was completely from his pov for the first time. In previous updates, I read about him through different characters, but this was probably the first time I got to read about Armaan's life and feelings from his ownself. So it was beautiful.
He shared a deep bond with everyone; with each family members, each siblings, friends and best friend Yash, and his Geetu. Maan and Geet were two person he loved to death. And they both reciprocated that same love with equal intensity.
The way he complained about Maan's board and not getting time with his big brother, complaining about Yash leaving for hostel was really cute.
I dint know Geet-Armaan were at loggerheads when they first met. It was really nice to read how they used to fight with each other always but later became friends and their friendship blossoming into love. I have this special place for childhood love stories and sweethearts so I totally enjoyed reading about how Geet-Armaan became friends and fell in love with each other.
Im also glad that this diary showed Geet exactly what type of bond Armaan-Maan shared. How close they were despite staying away from each other.
Gosh, Aditi, you gave me another reason to hate Geet's parents. They dint even bothered to wish her on her birthday? Horrible to say the least. I so want to throw this on Mohinder's face and ask him if this is what he thinks fulfilling a father's duty? That man had the guts to say to Geet that at least she shouldnt be complaining cos apparently he gave her all the luxury. He is a loser and a big time failure in my eyes. He so does not deserve Geet and Tej's forgiveness. Wonder why Rano dint call her?
Now I get it why Armaan felt not to share anything about his happy family. But Maan disagreed and he was right. Had Armaan shared with Geet about his family she might have known not every parents ignore their children and there are happy family out there as well. But important thing is now Geet is getting to know everything from Armaan's pov and it answered her questions about why Armaan chose to not share anything about his family. And I must say Armaan was a lot mature given he was only 10 years old. He cared for Geet so much. Wishing to meet her with his parents and to never let her go. It was really so sweet of him.
Armaan's pov after his parents demise was really painful. It pinched me a hell lot when he called himself an orphan. Come to think of it , its true, from Armaan's pov Geet was now lucky cos she at least had her parents alive even though they werent exactly in her life. This had surely made Geet realize that for others she was considered lucky. It made her understand Armaan and maybe Maan as well, so much better. Today she has gotten her mother back whereas Maan and Dev dont have any one of them.
I now understand why Armaan dint shared about his parents accident with his friends and Geet. He dint wanted them to treat him differently, show pity or feel sorry for him. He wanted his life to be normal for others so that he could also start living that way. But the disadvantage of it was that Geet brought his parents in their conversation which hurt him. Though Geet also happen to encourage him. Guess, Geet became his strength and source of survival. To live life. He was selfless like his brother. He dint wanted to leave his hostel yet was ready to cos he dint want to be selfish. He wanted to become like his Maan bhai and make Maan and their parents proud of him.
Armaan had a huge crush on Geet but dint wanted to ruin his friendship with her so kept quite. But with time he noticed that she likes him as well. You gave another surprise that Armaan had shared his feelings for Geet to Maan and Maan had encouraged him to express his feelings if he is sure about them. This just says how close the siblings were.
Reading Armaan's entries truly made me realize just how much madly that guy loved Geet. He was absolutely crazy about her. I mean was there anything he dint like in her? And gosh, he had already seen her as his wife and his marriage with her. Just says how bloody serious he was. No wonder, Geet was dead for 4 years after she lost him. Im might be crazy to say this now when I totally ship Geet-Maan, but damn, Geet-Armaan's relationship was divine and so beautiful. If Armaan was been alive, there was no way I would have shipped Geet with Maan ever despite they being my most favorite couple.
From the young age he wanted to fulfil all her wishes and dreams, how bloody sweet. It was as if his life started with Geet and ended at her. Even when he went to Mumbai and places there, he remembered Geet. He was so eager to make her a part of his family and give her all the love she missed.
The couple of last entries were kinda heavy. Him meeting his family in Mumbai and having a family time. Getting to express his love and respect to Maan over the phone. Him mentioning that if he dies today, he would die a happy man. It gave me goosebumps. But Im glad that he died a happy man. He dint had any regrets in his life. His death was definitely a hard blow for others but they should now make peace that Armaan was a happy man. It wont lessen the void he left or their pain but at least they could make peace with his dead and accept it wholeheartedly.
Finally Geet is set free. Now when she meets Maan there wont be any doubt in her mind. Its her time to make Maan believe that he dint killed Armaan. Its her time to set Maan free from the guilt he is living in for 5-6 years.
I would say, Geet and Maan are lucky enough that Armaan had the habit of writing in his diary. They have such a huge part of Armaan close to them which will always stay with them forever.
The update was a lot emotional. But it was beautiful too. You made me fall for Armaan all over again. That guy was a gem and a sweetheart. He was loved by all and he loved them unconditionally too.
Just a confusion, how come Armaan managed to write last entry in the diary? I thought he talked to Maan over the phone when he was at airport. And Maan already had Armaan's diary with him. If Armaan wrote this last entry while on flight, how did it reach to Maan?
