Man : Good morning sir..
Dev : Good morning..
Have a seat.. The man took the seat in front and in no way he seemed to be nervous or scared because he is now in KC Mumbai branch waiting for the interviewer to start his interview. Rather he seems to be confident and there is some kind of determination in his eyes and that is what Sukhinder felt looking at him..
Dev : Well Mr. Maan your record is absolutely brilliant and I'm impressed.
Maan : Thank you sir..
Dev : Don't thank me this soon Mr. The interview is not yet finished. It seems like your are working for Khanna Constructions in Delhi and your pay is also good. So why are you here for this interview??
Maan : Sir, you are right.. I am doing good job in Khanna Constructions and my pay is also good but I want to explore my knowledge.. I want to learn new things which I am still unaware of.. I want to work on different circumstances.. As you know Khanna Constructions take up only residential projects but KC has done projects in each and every sector of real estate. I want to work on projects that gives me exposure and one day prove this world as to what I am.
Dev : Hmmm.. I must say you again impressed.. But the problem here is we need an architect immediately for our hotel project and here you don't have any experience in this sector.. The candidates who have given their interview have enough knowledge as they have already worked for such projects.. So why do you think we should give this job to you?!
Maan : Sir, an architect remains an architect even if he designs a beautiful house for an elderly or a luxurious hotel for businessmen. I won't agree with you if you say those people will make better designs than mine because you haven't seen my work. I just need a chance to prove myself.
Dev : Still Mr. Maan why should we take the risk when we have people who have already worked on such projects?!
Maan : Sir I won't give any more explanation for your questions but I just want to say one thing. 15 years back when your dad has started this company even he didn't have any knowledge about how to run a business. He just have the knowledge on how to construct a building. But 15 years later you have the proof of what he had achieved.. When I look at KC I admire your father's strength, willpower and mostly his self confidence that one day he would prove to this world that YES I HAVE MADE IT.. But there would definitely be someone who in his initial days had supported him and given him confidence that 'He could also make it'. Its just that he needed a chance.. And here I am waiting for that chance to prove myself, to show the world that even I CAN ALSO MAKE IT..
Dev (st) : Yes, I know who that person is.. Its Mohinder uncle.. And I am here to fulfill the promise my dad has given him..
Sukhinder who till now is a mute spectator of this interview got very much impressed with Maan's answer and wanted him to work for his project..
But he also know that Dev's decision is final and he turned towards dev who was lost in deep thinking.
So he called him twice and finally Dev got jerked out of his thoughts, Sukhinder said
Sukhinder : Dev beta.. What do you think?!?
Sukhinder (st) : I hope Dev say yes.. I don't know why but this guy has some spark in his eyes and guts to answer even the most intimidating questions.
Dev : I'm impressed Mr. Maan. You are appointed.. You can start working from tomorrow.
Maan : Thank you sir..
He took his file from Dev and turned around to go while Dev stopped him.
Dev : Mr. Maan you said you are from Delhi so now where do you stay?
Maan looked at him in a confused way as to why is he asking such question.
Dev : Dont get confused Mr.Maan. I care for my employees thats why. By the way you are here because of that only..
Maan : Sir??!!
Dev : Nothing ignore it and tell me did you find any accomadation?!
Maan : Ahhh.. I will sir.. I mean as of now I have not decided anything about it. For now I am staying in hotel but I will make some arrangements.
Sukhinder suddenly seemed to be in thoughts listening to Maan and when Maan is about to leave he stopped him
Sukhinder : Gentleman, I think I have a solution for your problem. I am planning to give our outhouse for rent. If you want you can stay there.
Dev suddenly interrupted Sukhinder and says in a low voice
Dev : Uncle, What are you saying?! I mean we dont know anything about him and how can you give your house for rent. I know I have appointed him in my office. But placing him in office and letting him stay in our house are two different things.I think you have to wait for few more days and in mean time we will also be knowing his character. Then you can decide. And moreover he is a bachelor and you cant trust him with two girls in your house.
Sukhinder : Dev, I understand what you are trying to say. But beta if I get someone else for rent even then I wont be knowing much about them. And here I have seen him and I must say there is some spark in this guy. I appreciate your concern for my family but I think I can trust this guy.
Dev : Ok uncle as you wish but just be careful.
Sukhinder nodded his head and then turned towards Maan who was all the while looking at them in confused state.
Sukhinder : So tell me Gentleman Do you want to stay in our outhouse?! Dont worry there is no compulsion.
Maan : I dont know sir. I mean..
Sukhinder : Listen Mr. Maan you need a house for rent and I have it.. What is there to think. Either you can accept my offer or reject it. Its as simple as that.
Maan : Ok then Sir. I dont have any objection and thank you very much for your help.
Sukhinder : Thats Ok Mr. You can come to my house in the evening. I will let my people know about your arrival.
Maan : Sure Sir. By the way you can call me Maan.
Sukhinder smiles and then gives his card with the address. Maan thanks him and leaves the office. Sukhinder also bids bye to Dev and leaves.

Maan reaches HH in the evening and tells the security as him being the new tenant for their outhouse. The security hands him the keys and shows him the way to outhouse. Maan enters the outhouse and settles his bags in one of the two bedrooms and went to look around the house. It is actually big enough for a single person to live. It has two bedrooms, a living room, a dinning room which is attached to the kitchen. He enters kitchen to check whether there are any items to prepare dinner. He finds all the cabinets are empty and there are only few cutlery and few dishes. He then signs and opens the back door of kitchen which actually connects to the back garden. He comes out and finds that the weather has slightly changed and the sky has become cloudy. He turns to other side and got to see the most mesmerizing sight he has ever seen.. No.. Its not the beautiful garden which is in the front but the girl in the garden who is busy taking the dried clothes off the rope as it has slowly started drizzling.. There is one more guy with her who is helping her and she seems to be telling him something which made him run back into the house with the dried clothes in his hand. Then after a while another guy came and took the remaining clothes from her hand and ran back. It is not some romantic sight showed in films and tv shows where a girl is dancing in the rain and a guy admiring her and then their passionate eye lock followed by a hug or a dance. It is much simpler but the girl is the one who is making it passionate for him with her breathtaking smile and joy dancing in her eyes feeling the first rain drop of the season. By now he understood that she has not yet seen him and again got busy in enjoying the slight drizzle at the same time capturing his heart for lifetime. Maan didn't even realize when his legs started taking him towards her without his consent. Now her back is facing her so she still doesn't have any clue about his presence behind her. While Maan is busy in admiring her, the rain started pouring heavily so she started running towards the house without realizing that there is someone who has lost himself in her and is now not caring about drenching in rain just to capture her innocent beauty in his heart. That's when her dupatta got stuck in one of the plants and she turned around to remove it. Before she could remove it his hands automatically came for her help and tugged the dupatta slightly to take it from the bush. Finally she raised her eyes which met his. THAT'S IT. Its like some kind of explosion happened inside him and he doesn't even understand what is happening around him. Its just her and him. Everything else disappeared. He doesn't even know since how long they were standing in rain. Her dupatta is still in his hand. He could observe her lips moving but didnt make any effort to listen what they are saying. Its like he is hypnotized by her and suddenly she ran back to the house leaving her dupatta in his hand.

That's it for now guys.. I know it is not as big as other updates but this is all I could manage as I just came back from a vacation. And also this has made the base for the story. From now the actual story starts. I hope you are not disappointed..😕

NOTE : Guys!! I have completed 6 parts by now. I have this bad habit of dragging the conversations not just in writing but in real life too..😉😛😆 So tell me frankly are you guys getting bored with the lengthy conversations or is it OK?!😕 Do you guys want me to cut them short?!?! One more thing some of you are worried that your demand of getting Maan has made me change the storyline. I appreciate it guys but dont worry it has not changed anything. And now also I am worried as I am new to write for Maneet. So I need your suggestions whether you guys find anywhere the conversations to be lengthy. Please I am confused and I need your help. Tell me frankly what you think about the updates till now.
