I wanted bangs too but have wavy hair so could not do it till now! Got a hair straightener recently so decided to get bangs and my mom totally freaked out when I told her. Did not allow it at all!

Finally, I told her, you want me to grow long hair, I have done it. Now due to this long hair, I cannot keep my hair open without tangles. And if I tie my hair back, then my forehead looks too big. So either allow me bangs so my forehead looks small when I tie the hair, or allow me to give it a shoulder cut because I so cannot handle the tangles anymore. Either way, I will be tangle free! You decide!

And you know what! My cuz's mother also freaked out when she decided to get bangs. So my advice: If your mother does not freak out about bangs, then it is time to worry! Definitely time to worry!😉

well my hair is wavy noy really curly when i told mumma i want bangs she said ok bcoz she didnt understand at first 😆
same problem with me when tie it in a ponytail my forehead liiks big n i hate it so didnt show her any pic or make her understand 😆

i have been trying since i could manage my hair for them to grow
but the forsaken things wont grow beyond my mid back
considering mummy and nani both had thick long and wavy hair

waise what you said about not needing curler same is case with me
i have hair straightener for when i feel like change of hair style
that too i got three years ago only

no way would i wear three peice
too stuffy for me
i love wearing indian and western
at weekends i do wear my salwar kameez with bangles payals ( and i have two set of payals too) etc
cant handle sarees
think they will open or i will fall in them
so dont wear them
