I used to dress up in salwar kamezz with bracelet as bangles used to make noise and disturb people, had my hair in plait and bindi and jhumkas and all and the people used to never take me seriously! Then one day I felt the urge to dress up in pant shirt and had my hair in pony tail and all, and they were so respectful. It seems we girls look powerful in western wear. The pant shirt gives us the whole no nonsense edge that men respect. We intimidate them and hence they respect us!

Neither of you have been to Mumbai and worked in companies here! These men are so narrow minded and have no respect for women! Horrible! And Boisar is worse! My mom had to struggle to gain respect in her office and i struggled too. Now I am eager to work with HR! Generally girls are in HR and workers and staffs respect HR as they hold the key to salary. I mean even though Accounts pays the money, payroll comes under HR!😉 So girls working in HR or Accounts will get more respect than girls working in Operations or Marketing!
