The waist is not definitive! I mean that is what it seems to me!

So if its waist is as dheela as it seems in the pic then get a black belt for accesories! You can wear it a bit tightly on your waist. It will define your waist making you look slimmer and you will look taller too. Just tighten it enough that it stays above your hip without the need for loops. Soha Ali Khan once gave this tip in one show on a similar kind of dress!😉

No need for hoops. I mean how does your jeans stay on your kamar? they dont have hoops. Tighten the belt and let it stay on your hips. Or wear it loose enough that you can breathe but tight enough that it wont slip off your hips. I mean hips are supposed to be wider than waist right? Never tried but Soha wore it once. And it looks awesome! The dress had no hoops and all, but she still wore it as accessory. Just an idea! Try it once and see! Coz the dress you showed just now, does not have defined waist and that suits only thin people. People who are chubby as you claim to be, need a dress where the waist is defined. Did I explain it right or did I confuse you?

I am not a fashionista but have watched lots of interviews and reality shows and have collected enough tips from them!

will go to shop and see whats it like only then will i think about it

It is not about me being right or wrong dear! It is about you looking awesome!

That dress is beautiful but does not have defining waistline! You need something there to show that you actually have a waist! This type of dress is called A Line where the dress doesnot dip towards the waist. Errr... how to explain it? Yes!The dress has straight figure and not hourglass shape! So belt will give you the hourglass shape to the dress and defining your waist. Samjhi? And have you worn pants without belt? How does pants stay on your waist without falling or using belt? It is because the hips stop them from falling. You use a very thin belt which will cinch right above your hip and below your waist. No need for hoop!
