Part 18

Maan and Geet stood there looking at each other frozen in their own world of passion, they felt an bond holding them close even if they didn't want to, "MK, Geet" an sudden voice made Geet and Maan pulled put from their dream world and kicked back into reality, Maan and Geet slowly withdraw their hands from each other and looked away, Maan and Geet both saw that the whole hall is frozen up staring at them,

"Excuse me" Geet said and rushed away from there, "Geet" Adi tried to stop her but she was long gone, Maan looked shocked and confused, "Damn, I had done it again, what the hell is wrong with me, why did I held her in the first place, then what took over me that I danced with her" Maan thought confused like hell and he went and took an glass of alcohol and try to drink it up, when Adi came up and forceful pulled Maan away from the crowd towards an corner,

Maan was surprised by Adi's behavior as he had never behaved this like with Maan, "What the hell was that", Adi scorned and Maan knew what he was asking about, "I don't know, seriously I don't know" Maan said shaking his head, "don't know," Adi hovered up, "You were forcing her Maan, and telling that you don't know, what will the people think for her, do you have any idea what that innocent girl will feel like" Adi jumped up, and Maan looked at him shocked,

"Innocent girl, she is not innocent, innocent girl don't lie that I am her boyfriend, innocent girl won't use my appreciation to trap me up, innocent girl wouldn't let me hug her up in that rainy night" Maan said and Adi looked at him shocked, "the girl whom you hugged up in the rain is, Geet" Adi asked and Maan nodded an yes, "Oh, that's why she cancelled the meeting, oh my god, poor thing, that's why she was crushed up," Adi said feeling so worried and concerned for Geet,

Maan looked at Adi and was puzzled up, Adi was suppose to take his side not her, "And what the hell happened to you, you are concerned of her when I am confused and worried up here" Maan asked, and Adi shook his head a no, "nothing like that Maan," Adi said, "Then, I am confused here, worried, not knowing what the hell happens to me, when I see her, to the hell I hate her, but I" Maan said feeling like banging his head on the wall, "I appreciated her work and gave her card and also this event but she was thinking that I like her and so doing all this, how dare she is" Maan hovered up,

"Geet, no way, she would never do or think like that," Adi said, "enough Adi, Stop taking her side" Maan yelled up frustrated, "I can't because Geet is Pinky's sister, and I know her more than you think" Adi said and Maan looked at him shocked, "what" Maan asked, and now he understood why Adi was defending Geet, Maan knew the silent relationship between Pinky and Adi and if Geet is Pinky's sister then she is Adi's On-to-be sister-in-law, Maan suddenly looked at Adi, "Wait, she knew that her sister and you work in my concern and she likes me so much but she never came to meet me, she would have come to meet me before even, right, why didn't she" Maan asked confused with the facts in his hand now about Geet,

"Yes, me and Pinky had asked her and even compelled her to meet you many times, but she refused, she wanted to meet you not as Pinky's sister or my guest, but as Geet, with her own identity, that's why she joined the part time job, and worked day and night to get an deal with KC, and Geet had strictly said I should not recommend or say anything about her nor help her in getting the deal, she know you Maan, know you more than me, if I had to say, your likes and dislikes, and she also knew how you are against cheap tricks and tactics and also your attitude towards girls"

"Now you tell me Maan, do you think an girl like Geet would have said or even think bad, you know, yesterday she was suppose to meet me and discuss something about the event but suddenly Pinky called and said she is so upset and so will not be able to meet me, she had been crying the whole night, and was badly hurt, I didn't know what happened, but now understand why she was hurt, her hero, her role model had destroyed the good image she had for him, and I know it's not intentional, but still just think from her view" Adi said slowly,

Maan who was standing there, registering each and every word Adi was telling and suddenly her big golden gaze with tears dancing inside the wet lashes came before his eyes, so that was not fear but it was pain in her eyes that time, when she saw his face, Maan held his head, "Hmmm, don't know what is her situation now, even for one single hug she was hell upset, and now, this Dance, before everyone, I can't image" Adi said and turned around and found that Maan was not there near him, "where did he go"

Geet was crying her heart out as she was walking in the corridor, the person whom she admired, respected and ached to see had just turned tobe her worst nightmare, she couldn't believe that MSK has insulted her and her character, "Baba ji, how dare he is, if he had scolded me or yelled at me, regarding my work, I would never been felt bad, but he had pointed his fingers on my character, how could he, do I look like that," Geet wiped her tears trying to calm herself and stop her tears but couldn't just hold herself, more than those words, she can't bear those words came from him,

"Baba ji, it would have been better, if he haven't come before my eyes at all, I hate him Baba ji, I hate him, he was not worth my admiration, he is also an rich spoil brat, what does he think of himself, that his endless properties and money and his status and fame and his handsome looks and his Gorgeous eyes and his damn hot personality," Geet suddenly stopped, "am I scolding him or praising him, whatever, I hate him" Geet said and went inside the locker room,

Geet stopped as she saw Sasha and Tasha there, Sasha was looking so upset, "now what's with her" Geet thought and wiped her tears, and when she was above to enter the room, "Sasha, please, don't get this upset" Tasha said and Geet stopped at the door way and listened up, "How can I not get upset, I thought MSK will yell at her, hate her after telling him that, Geet was using his appreciation for wrong, that she is telling everyone that she is his girlfriend, but now, instead of yelling, he danced with her, that too like that, god, how could this happen," Sasha poured out her frustration,

Geet's heart stopped for a second, Sasha, she had planted this wrong image of me in his heart, so this was the reason, but whatever it was, how could he believe Sasha's mere words and insult me like that, no, I can't forgive him," Geet thought and went towards another room and changed herself and walked out, she was feeling a bit better after knowing the truth of Sasha, "He had seen so many girl with this intension only, so only he would have mistook you, and how he knew about you and your character," her heart started supporting him,

"So what he can put on blames, on whomever he meets, he doesn't know me, so he had no right to insult me like that" Geet's mind fought back, Geet shook her head as she walked away from the hotel, clearing both her mind and heart,

Maan rushed towards the locker room of the hotel and checked and found it empty, "Damn," Maan said and rushed outside, "I must tell her, that it was my mistake, she must have been hurt, I should not have acted like that" Maan thought and stopped up, "hey, what's wrong with me, why the hell does it matter to me, whether she is hurt or not, ok, that was an misunderstanding and she also insulted me, and she provoked me to Dance, and she didn't refuse to dance either," Maan's ego rose up,

"But you were responsible for that, you shouldn't believed so random girl's words, and the Great Maan Singh Khurana, who is so smart and brilliant had lost it today and you insulted an girl out of his anger, without even thinking or analysis the facts, so it's your fault and you can't let an girl upset and pained because of you" Maan's heart jumped up, Maan forgot everything as he saw Geet walking there, holding her arms around her as if she was feeling the cold, her face was upset, but she was not crying,

"Geet" Maan's voice made Geet to turn around in shock, she was puzzled and confused and suddenly didn't know how to react, should she have to run away from him, yell at him, scold, nor ask sorry, she was confused with his sudden appears, Maan started removing his coat making her even more confused, "here" Maan gave her the coat and Geet looked at him with her wide shocked eyes, "you are freezing," Maan said and Geet realized she was cross holding her arms, and Geet got the coat and turned around, just holding it on hands.

"Geet" Maan stopped her put his hand before and Geet stopped again, "oh, actually," Maan trembled up, "Damn, where to start" Maan thought, "It's ok sir" Geet's voice came up, but she wasn't looking at him, "not your fault, for you rich person, middle class people will always look like this only, Money mind, we target rich person and trap them for their riches and values, but please sir, atleast after this, don't insult and break someone's heart just like that"

"And I really didn't want to trap you or get you or anything, all I wanted was an little appreciation from you" Geet said and looked at him, "you named me," Geet said slowly and Maan looked at her shocked, " my dad told me, when I was born, you came and heard my crying and said it was like an Sangeet, and so my mom and dad decided to keep my name as Geet, My mom always used to tell me, as I was named by you, I will one day become as famous as you are," Geet said with an painful smile, "Thanks to Baba ji, that she isn't alive now to hear that you even destroyed the values that I hold, that my name held" Geet said and turned around and walked away,

Maan was standing there frozen up as she walked away, suddenly his mind searched for the lost memory and found it too,

"So you found a name for her" the doctor asked and the couple looked at each other, and smiled, "we are confused, what name to choose" they said, and the Baby cried up loud, and Maan smiled up, "what is it dear" the Baby's mom asked looking at Maan, "nothing, her crying sounds more like a sangeet to me" Maan said and the couples looked at each other, "wow, Sangeet, Geet, how is this name, Geet" the women jumped up, "nice name" her husband said, "Thank you dear, you had choose an nice name for our child, thank you" they said,

Maan started walking away slowly as he found the memory of him naming her, Maan's mind showed him the baby Geet crying up, Maan went to his car and started driving home, thinking of Geet, and what had happened, "Thanks to Baba ji, that she isn't alive now to hear that, you even destroyed the values that I hold, that my name held" Geet's voice made his heart pained, as he remember Geet's mom's face, even for a few seconds of meet or so, Maan's mind was clear and strong enough to capture all memories, and faces,

"She lost her mom, just like me" Maan thought and stopped his car in the mid of the road, "what have I done, ok, ok, if she says that I destroyed her name, then I will even give her back that, I will make the world see her talent, I will bring her appreciation," Maan decided finally, "and I know how to do it too" Maan said with an grin, "oh god, what the hell I had gotten myself into, oh Geet, I hate you, I hate you for doing this to me girl" Maan thought and drove up,

Maan was walking to and fro waiting for Adi to come back, Maan somehow want Geet to get a good name, and it can be done only by working up hard with an huge concern, so Maan decided to give Geet, actually her company another big event, so that she would get noticed and her talent would reach around and she herself come and thank him for the reputation and fame she is getting,

When Maan said this to Adi, he said Geet will never accept his offer any more, as informed by Pinky, Geet was so upset and was crying all night, and so there is no chance of accepting it but Maan somehow made Adi to go to Mr.Sharma with the proposal, Adi too went up, Maan was wishing with heart and soul that she would accept it, "God, what the hell just happened, I had millions of things to think, but instead, I am worried about the acceptance of that stupid girl, oh I just hate her" Maan roared up,

"May I came in MK" Adi's voice gave life to Maan's present, "Come in" Maan said and as Adi enter, with his face reaction itself, Maan can say that his plan didn't work, "What did she say" Maan roared up, "she said she can't help Mr.Sharma in KC events anymore, and said, her teams know better now," Adi said, "didn't you try to convince her," Maan asked again, "I did, actually, Mr.Sharma pleaded up, but Geet said, if he compels her, she would quit the job forever," Adi said, "Maan, I think it's better you leave her alone, ok" Adi said and went away,

"No, I can't leave her alone like this, I need to help her, with or without her permission, it's Maan Singh Khurana's decision and she had to accept it, if she like it or not," Maan thought to himself, "Need to find an way" Maan thought and an smirk appeared on his face after a long few minutes of thinking, "Now, Time for Maan Singh Khurana to get into the action," Maan thought and walked away,

Geet was in her room, she was feeling a lot better after the whole night crying and arguing with herself and now she was feeling superior as she refused KC event thought she was not really happy, "No way I am going to work for that KC group anymore, not even in any event that had his name on it, what does he think of himself, first, he will do everything, and then put the blame on me and hurt my feeling and then try to do something out of sorry," Geet thought,

"well he wasn't really sorry, if he were, he would have said last night even right, well he is MSK, why the hell he would feel sorry for hurting an middle class girl's heart and feelings, as if he cares" Geet thought and paused for an second, "if he didn't care about that, then why he did he send Adi ji with another proposal" Geet thought, and suddenly her door bell rang up and Geet looked puzzled, "Pinky and Papa came back this soon from the hospital," Geet thought and the second bell rang up,

Geet then jumped up and went towards the door and opened it up and her big eyes opened up even wide in shock, "it's a dream, it's a dream, it's a dream" Geet said to herself as it was Maan Singh Khurana standing at her door steps,

Mind blowing update
Adi made maan realize his mistake nd maan is truely feeling guilty.
Geet is hurt with maan words. Her role model blamed her.
Now maan wants to rectify his mistake nd make geet popular.
He is going to do it at any cost.
