PART 04.TAKING A STEP
Geet came out of shock when she noticed Maan again going towards an injured Yash. She held his hand turning him towards her harshly " What the hell is wrong with you Maan ??" Maan clenched his fist & gritted his teeth. He looked at her hold & looked back at her. Geet noticed Maan's demeanor. She gulped in fear seeing his angry glare. But didn't loose her hold. She knew right now Maan can murder Yash.
When Geet's didn't loose her hold Maan, his anger rose on new heights. She was protecting that dickhead. That made him feel so miserable that he can't explain. But he is never going to show that. "What m I doing?? What the hell were u doing with him??"
Geet was shocked at the audacity of this man. There he was doing all that flirty things with that chipkus & now he was accusing her. She knew this would anger him but this will go to another level she had no idea. Her temper shot into another level & she looked straight in his eyes saying "doing the same thing u were dong with that bimboos..."
Maan pulled Geet towards him saying "don't u dare put any blame on me, princess. Don't u dare play this game." Geet looked at Maan shooting daggers. While Maan just smirked. All his anger were long forgotten. It vanished the moment he held her. It was the affect she had on him. She can bring the worst in him & also the best in him. He held tightly from hr waist while she continued to struggle to come out. He loved his Geet like this, feisty. Geet looked back at him saying "u know u started it & m going to finish this"
Saying this she kicked him where it hurts the most. Maan stumbled back with pain leaving Geet while she smirked at him. He swore under his breath. He was going pounce on her again when a whimpering sound caught their attention. In their commotion they had totally forgot about yash who was beaten by Maan. Geet at once was on his said saying "OMG, yash. M so sorry. I totally forgot about u. here, let me take a look." Geet scanned him. Maan's one punch has made yash's lips bleed. "All that stupid tai-chi taining" thought Geet. She tried to clean his wound with the things available. On the other hand Maan was burning seeing the care Geet had for that scumbag. He wanted to rip him apart. But he have to wait, seeing the way ,.Geet was annoyed with him nothing can be done. He silently moved away from there but keeping close eye on her.
Geet gave water to Yash while he glared at her. "May I know, what was that?" Geet smiled nervously at him saying "what what..??" Yaah gave her a sarcastic look saying "oh.. nothing, just the way u flirted with me out of blue & then that punch. Nothing serious.."
Geet sighed saying "he..woh..he is my boy... I mean my ex-bf" "and u were trying to make him jealous.." Yash finished her sentence with a smile. Geet looked down to hide her embarrassed state. She mumbled in a slow voice "I m sorry. I didn't mean to do this. It was just.." Yash put an assuring hand on her shoulder to stop her talking. Geet looked back at him & saw him smiling. She sighed in relief & smiled back at him. "So u wanna talk about it..??" Geet nodded her head in no & Yash didn't push her. Their conversation was halted with the enrty of Pinky who was busy ogling at Yash. "hai Geet. U found such a hot replacement for me & didn't even tell me.." Pinky pouted while Geet rolled her eyes. She pulled Pinky & formally introduced her with Yash.
After spending some time with Yash & Pinky, Geet was feeling a little light. But her eyes still tried to locate him. She didn't see him after their fight. But she could sense his eyes on her. He was near & she was sure about that. She knew what she did was wrong but that doesn't mean that he can punch anyone. But she should have known how much possessive he was about her. He had only punched Yash. But she knew he was far more dangerous than that. No matter how much she got angry on Maan's behaviour, a little corner of heart jumped in joy seeing this shade of Maan for her. It means he still had feelings for her. Her heart has vanished every hope of being them together. Still she wanted to live that dream again.
Her thoughts broke when Yash called her "hey geet..what's say??" Geet frowned saying "about what??" Pinky sighed saying "u didn't hear a word. Did u??" Geet looked apologetically while Geet sighed. Yash smiled saying "no prb yaar. I'l say again. I was inviting u both in the hottest night club of Mauritius. So will u come??" Geet was not comfortable with idea of going to a night club in an unknown place. The only times she had been to clubs it was always with Maan "yash.. who.. I don't think I can" But before she could say anything Pinky cut her in between saying "pls geetu. Don't be a spoiled sport. Chal na. it will be fun." Yash joined her "haan geet, if u r worrying about security,let me assure u, the club belongs to my uncle. So no worries." Geet looked at both of their expectant faces. She sighed & nodded in yes. Both yash & Pinky jumped in happiness & Geet just smiled.
Maan smirked listening to them thinking it's high time he had visited any club. He was near to them but were hidden from them. He knew Geet felt her presence. His heart hummed in happiness seeing the way she was affected by him. He knew what he has to do & he was exactly going to do that.
Maan went back to his previous place while looking at Geet's way. He noted they had already left. He also decided to head back when his long lost friends joined him. Maan looked at them skeptically saying "So finally both of u remembered me." Adi & Rahul smiled nervously at him. Adi stammered sayin "that's not the thing Maan. We were just strolling. " he nudged Rahul for some support who nodded his head in agreement.Maan just rolled his eyes saying "whatever, m heading back. I was planning to check out a night club tonight.u guys wanna join " Both Adi & Rahul looked at Maan with their mouth hanging open. Maan was waiting for them to continue but hearing no response he sighed saying "fine don't come. I'll go alone. " Adi & Rahul shouted in denial & screamed "of course, we w'll go." Maan smirked wearing his shades saying "as u wish. Be ready at 7." Adi was confused to find the change in his friend this soon. He knew Maan for a very long time. He was not the person who can be normal so easily after what happened with him. He hoped whatever happening with him will make his friend happy.
Maan entered the club that was owned by that dickhead's uncle. Maan had gathered all the information about Yash & being Maan Singh Khurana it was not a difficult task. He scanned the whole club for the reason of him coming here. He roamed his eyes through the whole club when his eyes stilled on one person. She was smilling but her smile didn't reach her eyes. She was sitting in the lounge area sipping some juice & he was sure it was orange. He looked away to hide his amusement. She can never change. He again looked at her. He drank in her beauty. She was looking ethical in her white knee length dress. Her curly hair was falling on one side & she had minimum make-up on her face, just the way he liked. He went further inside of the club still having his eyes on her.
Geet felt someone's gaze on her particularly saying his gaze on her. She looked around to locate him. "How can he be here??" she thought. She was feeling very low after coming from the beach. She wanted to see him once before she left the beach. But she didn't see him anywhere. She had no idea when will she meet him again. She again looked helplessly around the club to locate him. Suddenly her eyes meet him & the whole world stopped.
