At the beginning of the update reading how Geet was feeling things wouldn't be the same when they comeback my heart sank. So Maaneet are approaching the truth. The whole update was filled with hints of the upcoming revelation
"He was 29 but appeared 35. The serious, settled maturity on his face, always tightened brows, and smiles that rarely reached his eyes. One would think he carried the weight of whole world on his shoulders. But she had seen better. In last few days she had seen him smile, enjoy... live. She was the reason of that.Was she the reason of his misery too? There was a missing piece of puzzle. She needed to find it n put in place."
And how desperately he was stealing some moments with her indicates the same
''He knew he shouldn't, it was so wrong, so wrong and yet so tempting. He kissed her cheek and finally pecked those lips which had stolen his rationality. A small smile curved on her face like she could feel him very well even in slumber. That smile was most enchanting he had ever seen on her face. It connected with him, clutched his heart warmly... the secretive, unconscious gift that was just for him." She should have cringed and slapped him but she didn't, because she didn't know. Not yet."
Loved the whole update. I like that song too though i dont understand it fully. Geet still has hope for this marriage. She is still trying to win his heart n trying to be the MSK's wife. Wearing a sari to impress him or buying a sexy lingerie to woo him was so cute. The dinner part was sweet too both were drooling eachother n shied thinking of getting caught. The possessive hubby has spotted his wife with another man holding hands...what will be his reaction will he explode? or do something that will lead to his confession? BTW u wrote confessions so both will confess i assume Geet about her feelings for him? and him about his sins? Will she understand him then like she did in the car
"She meant each word and put her everything in not hiding it. The song was apt holding her feelings for him. She wished she could cup his cheeks and kiss away each of his inhibitions, his fears, the pain she gave him or whatever it was. With the expression he was looking at her, she could read him openly. He needed her. No power in the world could stop her then. Again without any hesitation she decreased the distance between them and found her place in his arms. He couldn't control n held her too close, too tight as if something was going to snatch her. She felt secure, treasured... precious."
This is one story that make me go through conflicting emotions. I feel for Geet how she had to face a horrible thing as rape then mistreated by relatives, how her dreams shattered or how she has developed since then on the other hand at the beginning of the story i was so angry on Maan for doing what he did...i still believe what he did was wrong but yet i feel so sorry for him or at his plight you have managed to soften my heart towards him n made a place for him there that is your excellence as a writer👏. Thank u for the update.
