Kids were upset and Rahul consoled them by saying-arrey muh kyun latka liya?Koi zaroori to nahin ki Virat Kohli har baar century hi banaaye..kabhi kabhi zero par bhi to out ho jata hai na..aur agar di nahin jiti to kya hua jiju jeet gaye .kya farak padta hai..you can be happy for him na. He is here for the first time so you should congratulate him..go .. and kids understood that and congratulated him. Geet was smiling to see them congratulating him.. she was sitting on a stone to dry herself..Rahul observed Geet .. He could see her happiness coming out straight from her heart seeing kids congratulating Maan.. It was very serene. He found her looking at Maan lost in her thoughts..

One of the kids-congratulation Jijaji..you won..But this does not mean that she is inferior..di is a good swimmer..aaj haar gayi wo..hota hai kabhi kabhi.and now kids were impressed with Maan as he defeated Geet. They sat there and talked for a while.. kids mixed up well with Maan. Geet still was sitting at her place looking at them. Maan looked at Geet sitting away and he signaled her to come to them with his eyes but Geet shook her head in no.. He chatted with the kids for some more time and said to a kid-Go and call Geet .. It's getting late ..and later it will turn colder.

Rahul said to Maan- Maan .. main le kar aata hoon..

Maan-Ok.. and rahul went where Geet was sitting lost in her thought .her face was now towards the water

He sat beside her.-What happened Geet..are you sad that you lost today?..

Geet looked at him with a smile-No.. why will I?

Rahul- then what are you thinking Geet?

Geet-Kuchh bhi to nahin

Rahul-Umm let me guess..you are thinking ..why did you lose to Maan intentionally in front of those kids ..Right?

Geet- What? N..No Rahul ..i didn't lose to him knowingly. I was really tired..

Rahul-Geet,, whom you are fooling..Don't I know you? I could see clearly how you got slow all of a sudden in that last lap..Why did you do that?

Geet looked at him and she knew that Rahul had caught her off guard. He raised his eyebrow to get the answer.

Geet-Wo.. I did not want him to lose to me ..he has come here for the first time . If I had won then people I n the village would think low about him.After all he is SIL for them

Rahul-Hmm ...special treatment for Maan? why ? you never thought this about me?

Geet looked at her with some confusion

Rahul-I m a boy too you never thought about my image in front of these people ..mujhe hara kar to tum hamesha khush hoti thi jab ye log meri mazaak banaate the..I m too a boy for them toh Maan ke liye hi kyun socha?

Get-I m so sorry Rahul..I never thought about this before that you would have felt bad about it..

Geet nodded-Haan ..

And Geet was shocked to hear that..she looked with horrifying eyes-Rahulll..what are you saying? Aisa kuchh bhi nahin hai.

Rahul-Don't conclude in hurry..

Geet-No way Rahul..you know how we were married? You all forced us andspecially you threatened me... we accept only for the happiness of our both families..to pyar ka kya matlab hai?. I only thought for Maan and that did not mean that I loved him so I did that..Maan bhi to kitna sochte hain na mere bare me ? Then why I can't..we are friends Rahul ..and this understanding is between us since long even before marriage..so why are you seeing it from a new point? She did not realise when a drop of tear rolled out of her eye..

Rahul-Is this written in some rule book that friends can't love each other? Geet..try to think what I m saying ..I know you gudiya,..you are changing..you tears are telling me that something has changed..There is only one line between friendship and love just take a one step ahead and you can see love standing there. Just give a thought to whatever I said..Don't try to jump on the conclusion right now..

Geet-lekin Rahul..Maan and me had promised eachother to be friend.

Rahul -Geet I m talking about you not Maan..

Geet-nahin Rahul you are wrong..I can't love him.. It's not possible between us ...she could not tell him that she heard maan saying that they could be friends only .

Rahul-geet let's go ... Don't try to jump on the conclusion right now..Think later about this .all are waiting for us..chalo..he cut her as he did not want her to come at the conclusion . He wanted her to think about that..

Geet nodded and stood to go. Both joined all to go back..

Maan looked at Geet and found her face colorless...

Maan asked her-Kya hua Geet..why are you looking dull?He tried to make her smile-let me think..Are you upset that you lost to me?

Geet looked at Rahul and then said-Kkuchh nahin..wo I am little tired after swimming..and Why I will be upset if I lost.I think we are getting late..Comeon kids ..chalo ab

They moved towards the home. Maan could see Geet was lost somewhere.. She was not looking at the road..First he was walking ahead of her with rahul but seeing her lost he slowed her speed and started to walk with Geet... Road was not smooth..it was stony..at one point Geet hit her foot on a stone and she lost balance as she was walking very casually.. Maan had already guessed that and he was there to hold her before she could fall on the road.

Maan-Geet be careful dhyaan kahaan hai tumhara..

Geet - sorry..maine dekha nahin.

Maan looked at her with a smile-dhyaan se chalo Geet..Road is uneven here

She felt her eyes again wet. She could not understand why Rahul s talks were throwing the effect on her,,Why she was thinking about his talks .. she knew it was impossible...

They reached home back and kids told the people that it was Maan who won in the competition..

And They too became happy to hear that..they looked at him pride ..

And Geet too felt good when they looked at Maan with pride..it was not that Maan was not a good swimmer but Geet was used to swim in the flowing water..and she did not want that competition to end even into a tie.. She opted to keep herself little behind in last lap so that maan could not doubt her to lose intentionally..She kept herself behind Maan by few seconds only

She went in to the house with a smile.her heart was at peace but her mind was not...she was continuously thinking about whatever Rahul said..

At dinner time all were talking but Geet was silent and playing with her food.

Maan looked at her and asked-Geet ..what happened? Why are you not eating your food?

Geet- woo I m not hungry...Can I leave?..please

Ram-haan Geet ..agar mann nahin hai khaane ka to jaao.

Geet-thanks papa..and she excused herself..

Maan's eyes trailed Geet and he was sure that something was wrong with her

It was time to sleep and Ram put an ideas in front of all-As we all are in village ...so let's enjoy this style of living..we all live in our bedrooms in our homes. I think we should share the rooms ..these rooms are too big so I think men can share one room and the women can share the other room..

Though all agreed but Gautam was little hesitant-Mr. Khurana ..no need for.. that you can sleep comfortably on the bed..you are not used to sleep on the floor..

Priya-nahin nahin Ram is right ..issi bahaane sab gappen maarenge ek saath..

And maan did not like the idea as he was just waiting to be in room with Geet as he wanted to talk Geet ..He wanted to know why she was looking lost. He had to agree as there was no other option..

So men were sleeping in one room and the women in other room..and in both room silence spread after some chatting.

Maan could not sleep ..sleep was far away from his eyes.he did not know why he was not feeling sleepy. if it was Geet whom he was missing while sleeping or the tensed expressions of Geet which were not letting him sleep.He got up from there and thought to stay in outside room for some time.. he came out of the room and was surprised to see Geet there.

She was sitting near the window and was starring outside. Maan observed her and found her lost in thoughts. He turned from there to go..

Geet-(ST) was Rahul right?.. No no..he was wrong..H ow could he think that I m in love..No I m not..and that too with Maan? Impossible . .Rahul has some misunderstanding..

but her inner self said-But Geet it's right that you are feeling something different since so many days..Whenever you see Maan you stare at him..and you like it the way he cares for you.

Geet- He always cared for me isme naya kya hai ..he took care of me even before marriage..and it's all natural in friendship..maan ne kaha na ki hum dost hain..we have only this relation ..that day he too was saying this to Shekhar..you heard that..

Inner self-haan you are right..maan said that you and he are friends..so let him think this That was his point of view...but you are changing Geet..It's true too that we can't force our heart Geet..If Maan wants to be your friend then it's his problem..but what about you?..can you change your feelings for him now..can you convince your heart by saying this that you are friends only and you don't love him?..Geet he is your husband and nothing is wrong if you feel like it for him.

Geet startled with the voice of maan . She turned and saw Maan standing there with two cups in his hands.. -Aaap...soye nahin abhi tak?

Maan-nahin..and he gave an excuse- I think it's new place ..that's why I could not sleep ..but what about you?..tum kyun nahin soyi abhi tak..

Poor Geet.. She did not know too why she was awake She was already confused so said-bas aise hi..Neend nahin aa rahi thi..he handed over the cup to her..lo coffee pio..you did not have dinner and you are still awake ..so must be feeling hungry..and Geet was touched with that gesture..She smiled and thanked him for the coffee

Maan sat beside her- Welcome..ab bataao kya baat hai?

Geet-what do you mean by kya baat hai? kuchh bhi to nahin..

Maan held her hand-Geet I can see that you are disturbed since we have returned from swimming. what is bothering you Geet?

Geet-It's nothing Maan

Maan-I Think you don't want to tell me.It's ok... I thought that I had a right on you and we can help each other when we need eachother

Geet felt bad for Maan..He always helped her even without question and now he was feeling bad that she was not sharing her thoughts. She took a deep breath and said- Aisa kuchh bhi nahin hai.. Maan bas thoda sa confused hoon.

Maan-Then you can share it with me ..may be I can help you..

Geet-N..n.no maan you can't help me.

Maan-How can you decide on your own..let me know the matter then you can decide if I can help you or not. After all I m Maan Singh Khurana..there in no such problem in the world that cannot be solved by Maan Singh Khurana and raised his invisible collar

Geet smiled at his drama and said-.maan If any of your employee sees you like this he will faint thinking if you are the same boss of their who does not oblige them with his even one smile..Who always scold them to work perfectly in office..

Maan smiled to hear that and thought-Geet this is your effect which makes me feel like this..I don't know what magic you do over me..Bhale hi hamaare beech Or I can say in your heart.. pyar jaisa kuchh bhi nahin..phir bhi..I can not think of my life without you. Keeping his thoughts away for a while he said-Geet you are changing the topic..Can't you share your feelings with me?

Geet thought for a minute and her inner self provoked her-Geet this is the right opportunity .You can confirm.. Maan cares for you...let's know what he feels or knows about love..if he answers you then it's confirm that he too feels for You. You know na that he did not love Arpita. If he answers your question that means he is too feeling for you

Geet scolded her innerself-shut up..

Maan was now confused and he again said-Geet I m still waiting to know what is making you confused.

Geet-How does someone know that he or she is in love?..I mean pyar hota hai to kaisa feel hota hai jisse ye pata lage ki pyar hua hai?

And Maan chocked .. as he was sipping the coffee and was not expecting this question from Geet. A large amount of hot coffee entered his mouth and he started to cough.

Geet took the cup from his hand and put that on the table then she patted his back-What happened Maan?..Did I ask something wrong? I m sorry.Are you alright?

Maan- Ya .. Geet I m fine..and he felt little relaxed

Geet- then answer me or I should say that Maan Singh Khutana does not know the answer of my question?

He sat stunned there for few moments. He calmed himself for some moments..He was stuck now..if he says he knows the answer of her question then she would put her new set of questions(How do you Know?and some other ones too).. and if he explains her about love, she would know that whatever he did for her was his love for her not concern or responsibility and then he would not be able to give her next question's answer which was his biggest weakness.

Maan composed himself and said-No geet..Nothing is like that..actually you know na that we should have some experience to answer for any question..And I m not afraid to say that I don't know anything about it. And before Geet could ask for more he thought to stop her-Geet..it's very late. let's sleep now..chalo ab..It's very cold here ...

Geet -Hmm...And she stood..she was now more confused after Maan told her that she loved Yash.

Maan looked at her going in to the women room and thought about her-Is she really changing?

And a smile crept on his lips...Thanks Geet for at least thinking about love.. The day you feel that love happens without thinking right or wrong..you will be able to take my love in a positive way . Geet laid at her place near Sudha.. she thought about what Maan said.

Geet to her inner self-See..I said it that Maan considers me only friend..ye Rahul bhi na ..I don't know what he saw and said that I love him.it's more confusing now for me..Rahul was saying that I loved Maan and Maan was saying that I loved Yash...both feelings are different..the feeling that I had for Yash and the feeling that I m having for Maan are totally different..now tell me.. How I decide for whom I feel love? Was it yash or is it Maan ?Rahul was wrong..

Geet-Hmm..may be you are right..but I don't want to spoil my relation with maan by bringing love between us. His friendship is very beautiful for me..and if I love him as you and Rahul say, even then I will keep it in my heart. And she slept with a determined mind that she would not let love taking the place of friendship ..Hardly she knew that love was such a powerful feeling which becomes stronger with every passing moments .. as much as you suppress it it becomes more irresistible. A person can fool the mind but not the heart as heart never hears what mind says.

It was Morning and Geet woke up with a free mind ...She had decided to not waste her time behind love and thought to cherish the beautiful relation which she shared with Maan.

All were sitting in the hall sipping their morning tea

Gautam asked everyone to get ready soon as they were going to the famous ghante wala mandir ..This temple had a very high regard in the hearts of local people as they say that every prayer gets fulfilled here . God hears everyone's prayers. In return of fulfilling their wishes people tie a ghanti (bell) in the temple as a symbol of their thanks to the God. Gautam and Sudha had prayed God earlier to get a good Husband for Geet. Now their wish was fulfilled so they wanted to go to offer their thanks to God. They also wanted to do a puja for Geet and Maan to keep the bad eyes away from them ..For Rahul and Anie ..Puja was scheduled after their marriage.

Everyone left to get ready..

They took two open jeeps from the village as temple was on the hills in Ghodakhaal, a small town near the village.
