HER monster win the chase again. Reluctantly she agreed to his demands as he left no choice for her. Definately her hate is not big then her love for her family.
She was sitting gloomed in her room when her phone start buzzing. It was from Maan so she avoid taking it. When three calls she escaped and still it buzzing,she give up. Geet pick up the call and burst without hearing any word.
'why the hell you cant let me live in peace. What you want ha? I agree on then why you calling me again and again?' her frustration was on peak and she blast in anguish.
'kya hua princess?', a soft tone from other side suddenly alerts her.
She checked her phone again. This time the call she answer not from her devil,but from her brother Brij. Geet squiremed and thinking of covering it. 'kuchh nahi veerji wo aise hi koi pareshan kar ra tha.' she lied.
Though Geet wont ready to tell but Brij easily sensed tension and frustration through her voice. 'Geet kahi tu mujhse kuchh chhupa to nahi rai?' he enquired again but she denied.
'nai veerji its nothing like that.' She lied again,because she wont wanna dragg her family into a trouble. She just view the glimpse of his insanity and power.
'ok if you said. By the way main parso subah tak pahunch jaunga.' he informed her about his arrival and cut the call. Day after tomorrow,which is going to be prove black day of her life.
Night is dark and thundering. Sleep is far away fron both's eyes. He stood up and again start reading the dairy of his mother. He cant tired reading it again and again. As more he learn his anguishness tormented him badly. 'Geet you have to come. Just one day is left between us.'
With the sun dawn daily routine of the city start rolling. Aasha asked to come for breakfast but she showed no enthusisam in any work. Just sat gloomed on her bed squeezed in herself. She even denied going to office. Seeing her disturb she not forced her to go. Meanwhile Meera came here to meet her. Aasha not recognised her but allowed her inside her room. She leave to get some snacks for her. Geet too was in confusion who is she. 'sorry i wont remember you.'
'i know because we are metting first time.' Meera clearified.
'then how come you know about me? Why you want to meet me?',Geet asked questions one after another.
'Geet i saw you in KM first. Hi i am Meera,Maan's cousion sisiter.' She introduced herself.
Hearing Maan's name Geet loose her temper again. 'oh so now he send you there to threat me,because i avoid his calls last night? Waise cant able to believe ki us jaise ghatia admi ki koi sister b ho skti hai. He only love to play and destroy girl's life.' Geet accused het to as she think his sister might be same like him.
'easy Geet easy. Maan wasnt aware that i came to meet you. Actually i overheared your confrontation with him,thats why i came here. Geet please tell me what's going on between both of you? Why he is forcing you?' when all denied telling her the truth she came to confront her.
'wow you know your brother how is he and then you came here to questioned me. How can i tell that what he wants from me after ruining me life and destrying every bit of happiness.' Geet roaring her all anger on her.
'Geet thats what i want to know. What had happened between both of you?' Meera asked again and again.
'ye jake tum apne us ghatia bhai se puchho ki usne apne ego or lust ko satisfied karne k liye kya kiya tha mere sath. Please just leave i dont wanna discuss anything with you.' she poured her pain in form of anger and show her the way to outside.
Meera disappoints but from Geet's word she get some hints. Though she doesnt tell her anything but unknowingly Geet gave her hint that Maan play some dirty game with Geet to get her body. Meera feeling ashamed but helpless. She straight went to Maan and confront him. 'Kya kiya hai tumne Geet k sath?' she asked straight.
'i already told you this is none of your business. Just stay away from this matter.' Maan showing unwilingness to tell her anything.
'ya ye kyu nahi kehte apni kartoot btane me sharam aati hai.' she snap back.
'Meera...' he roared.
'dont shout. Abi mill k aa rahi hu use. How could you Maan?' she felt detust even thinking about whatever he had done to her.
'what she told you?' Maan enquired,clenching the edge of railing hard.
'nothing because she felt disgust even uttering your name. But the marks are still there. I dont know what wound you gave her,but can predict. Maan please leave her for god sake. You already destroyed her now what you want?' Meera almost roared. Her gaze flashed with fie,her expresion so brittle.
Raw emotion burned through him,making him curse under his breath,as he felt the restlessness shift of his beast.
It didnt like being told to stay away from the thing it craved most. 'I can't do that.
'can't or wont?',She turned him around and glance in his eyes.
He shrugged his shoulder. 'what does it matter when the answer is same?'
Her eyes narrowed and mouth pinched. 'Maan listen to me..',Meera tried but now its enough for him.
'enough Meera. Humari shadi hogi or kal hi hogi.' he stared her in fury and moved from there.
'wo nahi manega Meera. Geet uski jidd hai,humesha se thi. Ya yu kahu wo uska junoon bann chuki hai.' Adi came there,the moment he left.
'tum sab sirf ladkio k sath khelna jante ho.' she showered her anger on him.
'i know we are wrong,par jab tak realize hua bahut der ho chuki thi. Maine Maan ko rokne ki har koshish kar k dekh le. Ab is shadi ko koi nahi rok skta. So its better you too stay away.' Adi suggest her not to interfare as now no one can stop him.
Whole day passed and her beats rosed. Every passing sec gave her feel of death. She wont wanna face morning as it only bring darkness to her life. He too awake in the wait of morning because now there only a few hours gap is left between them. Sun dawn and all his servants indulge in doing their jobs. He called her.
'good mrng Geet.' he wished her.
Geet close her eyes. 'good ya right.' she agreed though her tone was wry. 'kya chahiye?',she asked.
'Tum,you know that. Ye btane k liye phone kiya tha adhe ghante me mere guards or shuffer tume lene pahunch rae hai. So tab tak soch lo ki tume apne mama mami se kya kehna hai. See you soon sweetheart.' he cautioned her and cut the call.
Her heart thumbed so badly against her rib cage. Now she only have a half an hour and she have to inform to her uncle and aunt also. Geet wont able to think anything. In this time period is overed and his guards came there to pick her. Seeing them many question arised in both's mind. They asked about their identity and they told them. 'mamaji i have to leave.' Geet came and told them.
'par kaha kon hai ye MSK? Or ye sab ho kya raha hai?' Mahesh get curious and worried both.
'mamaji sirf itna samjh leejiye ki ye us azadi ki keemat hai. Mujhe jana hoga. Aap log mere liye pareshan mat hoiye.' she twisted the talk and left the house.
Before they can understand and asked anything she left bounded with guards all around. The moment she left Brij arrived back to his home. With his entrance he saw worried faces of his parents.
'mom dad what happened? And where is Geet?' he get suspecious seeing their gestures.
Mahesh told him everythingabout the incident which just take place before his arrival. Hearing Maan's name Brij's fists clenched hard and eyes turn red with anger. He threw his bags and moing out side. His parets followed him. 'beta bta to sai baat kya hai. Tum dono bhai behan kya chhupa rae ho humse? Or tu kaha ja raha hai?' mahesh get scared more seeing his anger.
'dad leave me right now main apko abi kuchh nahi bta skta.' Brij flinch off his hand and ran outside. He quickly use his sources and enquired about his place as he have no idea where he is staying.
Meantime Geet was in front of Maan. He took her to a room and told her to change fast. Geet was following his instructions like a dead body. She blindly took one dress and came down.
She was died completely and having no senses remain at all. Just like a robot she followed his instructions. Maan took her near a havan kund and made her sit there. Both are silent. The tension between them remained strong. The priest he summoned start the rituals and both followed it,Maan with his will and she reluctantly. Priest commands and he tied managlsutar around her neck. Geet sheds tears. She feels he strangling her neck. She prefers to end her life rather then wearing it. She clenched her eyes hard and he smeared sindoor meantime. Meera and Adi were standing like a statue. She never felt so helpless as she felt today. Being his sisters priest commands them to complete the rituals.
Brij got the address and he moved there in full pace. His mind is filled with so many bad thoughts regading her safty. He only praying that he can found her on the place where he is going. Brij manage to entered in premises,but he was late.
The view shocked him. Priest declared both husband and wife. Seeing Brij she just ran towards him but her tie with him stops her. She just slaned back and realize that now she is toed with him. With this monster. Brij fumed badly and moved towards her.
He start untying the knot but she stops him. 'nahi veerji.'
Brij shocked more. 'Geet main aa gaya hu na. Tujhe is janwar se darne ki koi zaroorat nahi hai. Zaroorat padi to aaj iska khoon b kar dunga.' he assured her not to scare of him at all.
'nai veerji aap aisa kuchh nahi karenge.' she stops him again.
'kamal hai apne hi behan k pati ko marna chahte ho?' Maan intrupts and taunts him.
Brij fumed and clecnched his collar in anger. Before anything happen wrong,Geet intrupt and parted her brother from him. 'veerji please leave me on myself.'
He astonished. 'ye tu kya keh rahi hai?'
'sahi keh rahi hu. Aap in sabse durr rahiye. Ye meri problem hai or apko meri kasam hai aaj k baad aap ya ghar ka koi b memeber is mamle me nahi padega.' Geet is crying but her words gave more pain to him than her tears.
She asked for promise again and again,so he have to given up. Brij made promise with a heavy heart. 'theek hai tu yahi chahti hai to yahi sahi. Bas itna kehna chahunga ki kabi b merri zarurat pade ek bar yaad kar lio tera veerji tere pas hoga.' he kissed on her forehead and glared Maan furiously before he left the KM.
'i am sorry Veerji,par main nahi chahti meri wajhse Maan aap sabko koi nuksan pahunchahye. Ye ladai meri hai or mujhe hi ladni hai.' Geet's heart is bleeding. Today she lost all are relation in one go,just because of Maan. She now hates him more then before...
