PART - 23Its a never ending circle of pain around which both's life revolving. Maan told his decision to Geet which is not less then a death sentence for her. Her all tries to forgot everything about him go in vain. Whenever she assumed she get rid of him,Her monster appred with more pain and destruction for her. This time a marriage proposal. She wont have any idea what exactly he want,but it hardly matters. She knew he only love to give pain to her.
After a restless night's sleep,the morning sun was not so soothing for both. Geet gloomed more then before ad get scold in her office for her negligence. His words banging her head. She knew he is upto something. One week time which he gave to her is clutching her throat.
Meera and Adi both overheared their converstation. Meera first confront Adi about this whole matter but he kept his moth shut.
'Meera i dont know anything.' He denied completly.
'not possible. Since the age of three you guys are together and you wanna make me believe on this nonsense that you dont know anything about this. Maan kaisa hai ye mujhe achhi tarah pata hai. Uski aadate or image sab malum hai. I was wonder ki wo yaha ita shant kaise hai. But anyways,the girl who came last night kya naam tha uska...' she think for a while. 'ha Geet... Why Maan is forcing her for marraige? Jaha tak mujhe pata hai Maan ko to ladkio ki kami nahi firr kyu tum log uske sath zabardasti kar rae ho?' Meera asked strongly. Her eyes scanning the restlessness on Adi's face definately he is hiding something.
'Meera bekar koshish kar rahi ho. Tum 100 baar b puchhogi tab bhi mera jwab wahi rahega. So its better you asked this from your brother.' Adi told his decision of not reealing anything to her,so she rushed towards Maan's cabin.
Meera waved in showered her frustration on him. 'Maan we need to talk.'
Maan senses her attitude and stared her. 'bolo.' he said calmly.
'ye Geet kon hai? And why the hell you are forcing her?' Meera asked the same question from him.
'so you heared our...' Maan was trying to stay calm and ask politely but Meera was so upset with his behaviour so she cuts him in between.
'yes... Now tell me what is running in your mind.' she banged her hands on th table opposite to him.
Maan too stood up in anger and glared her. 'this is none of your bussiness. Geet kon hai kya hai? Ye sab tume janne ki koi zarurat nahi hai. Sirf itna jaan lo ki ek hafte baad main use shadi karne wala hu or aisa karne se koi mujhe rok nahi skta. Tum bhi nahi.' Maan snap back. His words are rude and eyes smitting fire.
'ye galat hai Maan. Tum aisa nahi kar skte.' She try to convience him.
'Meera behas karne se koi fayeda nahi hai... Now just leave me alone.' Maan swing his chair and show his back to her which is a clear signal that now the conversation is over.
Meera fumed on his attitude and waved out. The same time Adi came inside. He too wanna talk with him.
'Maan...' he called him.
'Adi agar tume bhi woi baat karni hai then door is just behind you. You may leave.' Maan cleared his intentions.
Adi couraged and went to confront him. 'Maan just listen to me. Meera is right. There is no need of forcing her. Hum dono jante hai how much she hate you then why you are forcing her for marraige. Or ab to reason bhi nahi raha jo tum dono ko bandhe hue tha. Firr kyu tu zidd pe ada hai.' Adi argued and Maanglared him.
'Adi ek baar me baat samjh me nahi aati hai.' Maan yelled on him.
'baat ko tu nahi samjh raha. Is shadi se sivaye takleef k or kuchh nahi milega tum dono ko. Tune badla lena tha jo tu le chuka hai. Ab jane de use. Dekh Maan be practical. Is baar zidd chhod de. Wo tujhe kabhi nahi apnayegi or tune sab to le liya usse ab or kya chahta hai? Marna chahta hai kya use? I knew her wo kabhi nahi manegi.' Adi wants to save him from pain which he invites in the form of marraige proposal.
'Adi i think one week is enough to for you to prepared the papers of our marraige. Right? Then go and prepared them. Mere pas b kafi kaam hai.' Maan cleared his intention that he wont affected by his words at all and he is stronly determined for his decision.
Adi is only cares for him and he knew now Maan wont listen to anyone. He is determined and no one can change his mind. He just try his level best and leave upto destiney. Both Adi and Meera are dissappointed but Maan is stick to his decision.
Three days passed from the time he gave her. Maan obstruct her way in evening and dragged to a corner. Geet's face turn red with extreame anger. Everytime she saw him her rage for him increased more the before.
'leave me alone you jerk.',She is wriggling to free herself.
'dont worry tume nukasan pahuchane nahi aaya hu. Sirf yaad karwane aaya hu ki 3 dinn nikal chuke hai or ab sirf 4 dinn baki hai. I hope you made your mind.". Maan almost said in a threatening way.
Geet glared him. "Main apna decision bta chuki hu. I will prefer die." She snap back.
Maan fold her arm behind her and tagged her to him. He caresses her temple with his finger tips and she turn her face to another side, feeling suffocating around him. "Yahi btane aaya hu. Galti se bhi khud ko nuksaan pahuchane ya jaan dene ki koshish b mat karna. Kyunki ab tumhari jaan pe bhi sirf mera haq hai, samjhi tum. Or agr dimag me aisa koi faltu khyal aa raha hai to use abhi nikal do kyunnki agr tumne aise kuchh bhi kiya to tumahri family iski keemat chukayegi." Maan's eyes were dark and voice is heavy. He is threatening her in a worst way. Maan softly leave her hand.
Geet's rage turned into a fear soon after his threar. "Kya kiya hai tumne un logo k sath?" Helding his collar she asked worridely.
Maan fred himself. "Abhi tak to kuchh b nahi. Par kar bahut kuchh skta hu or ye tum bhi janti ho. Bye sweetheart I am waiting for your reply." A slow, crooked smile lifted the corner of his mouth. Soon he cant shed in the darkness.
Geet get scared and ran towards her home. She confirmed wheather they are ok not. "Mamaji aap theek to hai na?" With the entrance she asked first to her uncle.
"Ha beta main theek heek hu. Par hua kya?" He confirmed but get worried on her weird behaviour.
Geet quickly moved inside without answering and checked her aunt too. She is also fine. Then she call her brother to confirm his well being. She knew Maan's reach and his insanity to get things he desired for. "Beta baat kya hai? Kai dinn se hum dekh rae hai koi baat tujhe pareshan karrahi hai." Her aunt asked worridely.
"Nahi mamiji bas wo aise bure khyal aa rae the man me. I am fine no need to worry about this." She assured and moved inside her room. She locked her room and was just sit on her bed when her Mobil buzzed. An unknown number, she cut it off. But is buzzed again and again, so she just ans the call.
"Don't panic Geet. Maine kaha na jab tak tum kuchh nahi karogi main b nahi karunga. Good night." Maan confirmed briefly and cut the call...
